U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton waves upon her departure from Tokyo International Airport on Wednesday.

(CNN) – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Indonesia Wednesday on the second stop of her tour of Asia - her first trip abroad as America's top diplomat.

She's expected to huddle with Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda Wednesday evening before meeting with President Bambang Yudhoyono the following morning.

Clinton will "discuss the close and growing partnership with Indonesia and perspectives on common interests in Southeast Asia," according to the State Department Web site.

She began her trip in Japan, where she met with Prime Minister Taro Aso, as well as the foreign and defense ministers.

Clinton left for Asia Sunday and is also slated to travel to China and South Korea to discuss a range of issues, including mutual economic recovery, trade, the prevention of nuclear weapons proliferation and reversing global warming.

A buraeucrat is going to "reverse global warming", man, I'm glad she's on our side!

It's been incredibly cold this winter (and the last two) here in Ohio. I think, for the economy and environment's sake, we should let the globe warm. That way I can reduce my carbon footprint by reducing fuels needed to provide heat, and it'll be cheaper and I can use my own money to stimulate the economy. Oh wait, the government is using my money to "stimulate" the economy already.

great; we hope she, along with our other newly elected/appointed will prop up US sentiment. also, oil/barrel dropped again, average price $37.00/barrel, so why is the pump price going up..really, at that barrel price, we should be seeing $1.35/ gallon prices.

McCain now has someone to blame for his defeat for President! Somehow those republicans always find somebody else to blame.
They are such poor losers and seem to be clueless when it comes to the "Best Interest of the People".
From what I have observed, they lie about everything and hope nobody will notice.
    NOTHING EVER CHANGES in polictics!

Another disaster. Hillary showed in Japan that she is as inept as her boss. She has a thorough lack of geopolitical understanding.

Maybe if her husband hadn't given away missle technology to the Chinese, and sold basically the whole textile industry down the river to them and the rest of Asia, the entire SE United States would be better off financially and not look like a run down mining/lumber town. She is just headed to check on her investments, the whole whitewater deal again but against the US.

She was a great choice for the job. She gives Obama some sharp teeth behind the smile. Obama knows himself and is humble enough to know the places he needs another's strength to compliment his own style. That is far more rare than one would think.

I do not trust this person with anything after she supported Obama–she and her husband made a 180 degree turn and lied through their teeth just for political power. 2 of the smoothest politicians of all time. How people can believe in them is beyond comprehension. Did they lie about Obama being qualified or did they lie about him not being ready to lead? which is it? We do not yet know.

I have noted on TV that she is behaving more like a movie star than a serious and respectful diplomat. What's up with this administration anyway, when they are all waving and grinning all the time? Don't they understand the huge responsibilities that are now theirs?

To Texas Teacher, in a previous blog you said you didn't see any initials behind my name. If you must know, I actually have my PhD but didn't see the point in listing that on this blog.

I found it interesting that you attacked my words when I have never been as malicious as some bloggers on this site.

Just like BO . . . it is all a fun thing . . . the democrats have only hatrid to keep talking. Please be aware and listen. It sis the same thing the demos have been doing for years . . . using the hate talking of the other side and not accepting responsibility for their actions. They continue to act like spoiled teenagers.
