Slip sliding away! But hey he is still the president. What does it matter about the polls, are the polls going to get him impeached or anything like that, I wish they could but they won't. So why take a poll, oh I know, so someone can have a job. Well, I guess, "someone's gotta do it!"

I am sure that Obama's rating will continue to drop as the economy continues to decline, and the American people suffer even more!

This all is being created because of the GREED of those rich people that are not satisfied with the amount of money they have.

The rest of us are getting tired that our hard earned money is going into the pockets of the rich. It is time for the rich to support the poor!

Stop polling. You are giving me a headache. There are other things things going on in the world that needs to be talked about. Thank God I have a cable TV that has LINK TV where I can get other news around the world. Americans should leave Obama alone. For someone who inherited the kind of a mess he did and has accomplished as much as he has in one month, he is doing a marvelous job if you ask me. So, to heck with the polling numbers and the cable charters.

Hope it is okay to comment on the previous article, since it closed before I was able to post a comment.

The Conservatives are at it again, using JESUS???!!!!!!!!

THE REASON the Conservative lost the elections (both Congressional and presidential) is EXACTLY because of these tactics!

HOW IS IT CHRISTIAN...... to mislead.... to lie...... to fear-monger?????

How is it Christian to USE the Name of God's Son is a political Ad???
    Disturbing and disgusting!

Yes, after this housing bill, I would have to say my opinion of Obama has gone down. This is not the way we should be doing things, and will NOT fix the economy in the long run.

It just proves that 1 man does not make a difference. Obama's rating will reflect the actions of how Washington performs as a whole. We need to replace all the Washington mob with new faces and ideas.

Why are these people concerning about the polls insstead of finding the ways to get back this economic to work again? I guess you poll people are dumbers than Republicans who think we should all watch the economic doing it thing withpout any plan at all just like they did for the last eight years. Please stop polling our president and stimulate him with some ideas to boost this economy.

Does no one else find it funny that Obama's housing rescue plan is basically the same one that John McCain tried pushing before the election?

Remind me of what the difference is between the two parties again.

I hope the democrats don't waste too much money redecorating in Washington. The amateur idiots have been replaced by professionals.

Obama let the Dems like Pelosi and Reid craft a spending bill. I doubt if he was really involved in the process. Now he is stuck defending something that we and our children and our children's children will be paying for.
Obama may be popular now since he continues to act like he is still running for the White House instead of leading. That is the big disappoint with what is going on in Washington this past month. I had hoped that he would govern from the middle; to be a real leader. I am afraid that he is just another Pol and an Illinois Pol at that.

  19. A true telemprompted myth

I bet if the media uh, uh, uh did their jobs and went through this bill and pointed out the huge amounts of lard and pork in it that will not STIMULATE ANYTHING but simply are PAYBACKS the "chi-town way", his numbers uh, uh, uh would not be so high and would be in even more of a decline.

Where is Lou Dobbs when we need him?

Obambi was selected by the media and is now (still) protected by the media.

    One and done Barry.

Yawn. And polls show Republicans in general are less popular than the idea of legalizing marijuana. It's true. Look it up.

There is no doubt that the Republicans are trying very hard to discredit the Obama admin at every turn, that they are stubbornly unified in a non-cooperative stand and hoping to manipulate public opinion with their subterfuge. What should happen, what would be logical and appropriate, is for them to lose all creditability and be recognized for their irresponsible focus on their political games rather than on what is best for the country. Than maybe we could see some real bipartisanship and conscientious efforts towards resolving the drastic problems affecting this country. The last eight years of self-serving politics has been more than enough and exceedingly costly, we really shouldn't accept more of the same, we literally can't afford to!

who cares why dont you talk about how bad messiah W was when he left office, how about that poll!

CNN- stop making up ridiculous stories and fire your so-called reporters like Ed Henry, Campbell Brown, Lou Dobbs, and AC. This is a stupid news station worse than faux news.

CNN- Instead of headling an article that says "critics find Obama disappointing" – should it not say –

Notice the critics are the Republican Party and not the people. What a big news surprise that Republicans are still chanting for Obama to fail. They care nothing about the state of our country and the dire circumstances of we the People. They just complain and lie and mislead and, as usual, offer NOTHING in the way of any solutions.

Who cares what the Republicans think? They are irrelevant and the Party of the Past.

What would have been a much more entertaining article would have been the hilariously stupid comments by RNC Chair Steele about the RNC going "hip-hop" to appeal to younger voters. Now that would give everyone a much-need laugh!
