(CNN) - Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger will be a guest of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s at President Obama's address to the Congress tomorrow night, her office said Monday.

Dear Fan of Common Sense:
Many things these pilots are 'trained' to do don't come with the luxury of a practice run because of the dangers involved. Capt. Sully's face when Letterman asked him if he wouldnt mind doing it again said it all.
It took exceptional skill to accomplish what this man did; otherwise, greedy jealous pilots who know what they are talking about would be poo-pooing the Captain's accomplishment instead of bloggers like us.
Good for him. What's with all the negativity from the rest of you?
Mr. Sullenburger has way too much class for politics.
Sullenberger is probably making more money NOW than when he was a pilot. He will probably write his memoir about the flight and the white house affairs and haul in the big cash when Oprah invites him on the show.
Come to think of it, everyone is making money off of President Obama. Media Stations (limbaugh, hannity, lavene, fox) are all making money just to mention his name, but they always have something negative to say about him being president.
So why not Sullenberger? Yeah he'll get a book deal or movie off of this.

This is a wonderful gesture by prez obama. To have a working class hero in the spotlight really shows his care for working folks across the u.s. Obama needs to nationalize our economy and clean out the parasites ! The sooner the better!
At least this is a real person not a GOP "plumber". Sulley is a humble family man not an egomaniac – I would like to hear his opinion on the state this country finds itself in. As usual I see the bigots are still out in full force – too bad!
