Poor Griff. What a miserable person you must be. You are filled with so much anger and resentment. Captain Sullenberger and President Obama are two unique individuals – both saving American lives in their own way. Wrap your head around that one if you can.

He's even more popular than Obama. ?

I bet you have NOT seen the latest polling where Obama beat both him and Jesus Christ to the Number 1 spot ...

Griff: Just what in the world are you trying to say? Sorry, but your comments don't make any sense.

Congratulations Captain Sully, well deserved. While you are there perhaps you can have a few minutes to address the United States'/ FAA's antiquated air traffic control equipment, et al systems. I know budget-wise the timing could be much better, however, investing in safe flying seems like a good investment to me. Perhaps it could be a good model for a public and private funded program...? Just a thought.

Maybe sully can give him tips on how to bring in an economy that has lost power for a graceful water landing.

You would think a great man like this would have more sense than be seen with President Pelosi or least that's what she thinks she is and Obama needs to do something about this woman and in a hurry. She is trying to run this country and President Obama.

Well, in my RSVP, I advised Speaker Nancy Pelosi that while it would be an honor to be present to hear the State of the Union speech, I could not accept an invitation from her or "King H. Reid".

You saved a Plane. Why waste it on a failure? Barack Obama used you, just like dozens of others. He was Elected because he was Black, You?
Your a complete Idiot and reason why abortions should always remain legal in this country.

The Hudson Hero, with his restrained demeanor, is evincing some interest in politics, perhaps with an ulterior motive, eh? We, for one, would like to see him steal the political limelight, and make a bid for some type of political office. Our speculation is that we are not askin' for too much, for, if he makes a beeline for a political life, his unruffled response to deathly crisis might put him in good political stead.

Can the media please stop commercializing what this man did on that fateful day? He did a heroic thing, but he was also just doing his job! This is what pilots train for.

It is sad this man who accomplished something good, saving lifes, is now going to lower himself to the level of dining with Pelosi.

    I would have refused.

I like Sully. I just hope he is not getting too political or too comfortable on the interview circuit.

I realize he hasn't gone back to flying, and I sure can understand that!

Maybe his family would like him back in Danville, CA!

You have got to stop listening to your guru, Joe-the-Plumber.

Capt. Sully, you deserve all of the accolades you are getting. Enjoy.

Griff, you are some racist (or maybe just stupid to think that the only reason Obama was elected was because he's Black).

The majority of Americans watched Obama campaign for almost 22 months, heard his speeches, read his books, thoughtfully considered his proposals and approach and decided that Obama was hands-down the best and only choice to lead our country out of the mess Bush & Company put us in.

So, Griff, give it a rest!

He's a superlative pilot whose skill saved lives and gave us all something to feel really good about. But trotting him out for political and economic purposes, even with his consent, seems to be a bit manipulative. The issue is not "what would Sully do?" but what are the most effective means for government to address an historically bad economy? Pilots can't fix that.

When you read these comments, then you will agree with Obama that America needs better school system. And the only person that will do that is Sarah.

Why wasn't I invited? I'm just a taxpaying flunky, losing hundreds from my investments daily, going to work now 6 days a week just to make ends meet. I'm not even going to watch it on TV because I'll be working. Never mind that, I'm sure as soon as he's finished talking and saying whatever he think of at the time, all the commentators will begin telling us what he just said?! Like the audience didn't just hear it for themselves. The Dumbocrats are turning the screws daily and sooner than later, we'll all be under their control. Damned right I'm frustrated!!
