(CNN) – Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh fired back at Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele Monday, suggesting on his radio show the GOP leader appears to be supporting President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
"Why do you claim to lead the Republican Party when you seem obsessed with seeing to it President Obama succeeds?" Limbaugh addressed Steele.
"I frankly am stunned that the chairman of the Republican National Committee endorses such an agenda. I have to conclude that he does because he attacks me for wanting it to fail," said Limbaugh.
Late last week, Steele told CNN's D.L. Hughley that Limbaugh is an "entertainer" whose comments are "ugly."
Also on his radio program Monday, Limbaugh said Steele is being used by the "liberal media."
"Michael Steele has been around long enough to know that the liberal media will use him by twisting what I say or what others say," he said. "He took the bait, he bit down hard on the bait, he launched an attack on me, even though the premise of what was said to him was false."

GOP please clarify: Is comedian Limbaugh the head of the Republican party? If yes, when was he elected? If no, does he speak for the party? Does the GOP condone his hate speeches and radio show including attacks on minorities? If yes, could luck trying to regain your hopelessly lost self esteem in 2012.

What kind of American truly wants Obama's ideas to fail? In order for Obama's plan to fail Americans will have to suffer more than they are already. Then what, Limbaugh loses his advertising dollars because people are too broke to buy their products? While I would not cry if Limbaugh went off the air, just not at the cost of my country! Who would defend Limbaugh's stance? I find it great that I can agree with the GOP on something, LimBaugh's comments are ugly and it scares me others agree with him.
Rush should be in jail for life over the illegal drug dealing and use he was busted for, like any other citizen getting busted would be in jail. If he represents the Republican party, then it should be dis banded and another one take it's place.

The President of the United States is President Obama and it is our duty to respect his position. If Limbaugh feels he can do a better job then he should run for the office and if he feels that getting the far right to overthrow the current administration is the right way, then he should be in jail. This is a civilized country, protest all you want, but with dignity and objectivity. Limbaugh is a disgrace to the birth certificat that was issued to him. He is no citizen of this country, he is a citizen of hate.

Rush is an entertainer not a politician. He will down talk or contradict whatever the president says or does, regardless of the presidents party. He did is with Clinton, he did it with Bush, and now he is doing it with Obama.
If he didn't he wouldn't have a job.
