Limbaugh fires back at Steele

Limbaugh criticized RNC Chairman Michael Steele for his recent comments.
Limbaugh criticized RNC Chairman Michael Steele for his recent comments.

(CNN) – Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh fired back at Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele Monday, suggesting on his radio show the GOP leader appears to be supporting President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

"Why do you claim to lead the Republican Party when you seem obsessed with seeing to it President Obama succeeds?" Limbaugh addressed Steele.

"I frankly am stunned that the chairman of the Republican National Committee endorses such an agenda. I have to conclude that he does because he attacks me for wanting it to fail," said Limbaugh.

Late last week, Steele told CNN's D.L. Hughley that Limbaugh is an "entertainer" whose comments are "ugly."

Also on his radio program Monday, Limbaugh said Steele is being used by the "liberal media."

"Michael Steele has been around long enough to know that the liberal media will use him by twisting what I say or what others say," he said. "He took the bait, he bit down hard on the bait, he launched an attack on me, even though the premise of what was said to him was false."

Does Rush have a confederate flag tatooed on the back of his gigantic head? Hey Rush, why not go on and have that lynching you're trying so hard to start? America LOVES a blowhard, and Rush, you blow harder than anybody else. A lot harder.

Limbaugh is such an idiot and so are my fellow Republicans who take his word as gospel. Thank God there are very few of them. Jeez, how can people be so stupid. By the was, he makes a great living doing what he does.

WHO CAN MAKE LIMBAUGH SEE THAT HE HAS CROSSED THE LINE TO WHERE HE IS NOW HURTING THE PARTY?

Give conservative talk radio host and "entertainer" Rush Limbaugh kudos. No one excites the Republican base like Limbaugh. But Michael Steele is right when he say the GOP now needs to expand beyond the base and take back Moderates and Independent won by Democrats. So Rush needs to chill out or risk marginalizing the GOP.

Since when is telling the truth about the disposition of an individual "attacking?" Rush IS an entertainer with no political experience and is mean. I think Rush has come to believe the hype and believes himself the leader of the GOP. How sad and delusional. I don't agree with some of the points of the GOP, but I do agree with Steele on his observations regarding Rush.

Later, Limbaugh popped Steele in his mouth and ate the RNC chairman whole.

Rush: You are a psychopath with a big fat mouth and ego, You are a sociopath full of venom, distortions and outright unamerican at a time when the country is in trouble and needs every citizen to pull together to help us out of this dangerous hole yor idol Bush and fellow Republicans have got us into. Your hero McCain and Barby doll Palin kept saying COUNTRY FIRST. Does that mean people like you hoping for additional FAILURE, More laid off workers, more lost homes, more homeless people and hungry Americans who cannot afford FOOD or MEDICAL care. You and your like Ann C. should have your mouths washed with soap made in the USA

Why on earth does anyone care what Rush Limbaugh says? He's not an authority on anything but shooting off his mouth (oops, not accurate--guess you could say he's got some expertise in self-promotion, addiction and the misuse of prescription drugs). I'm so everlastingly sick of these tunnel-visioned so-called conservatives who believe in nothing but themselves and who think the only way to build themselves up is to tear down anyone who doesn't agree with them. Here's an idea, folks----just don't listen!

Gee, who wouldn't want to join the Republican Party? If you disagree with Rush Limbaugh, he'll come after you publically. Some big tent they've got there – big enough for Rush's loud mouth and humongous girth, but certainly not big enough for ideas other than Limbaugh's.

Too bad that narcotics-addicted Limbaugh continues to try to divide this country.

Our country has only been made all the more weak by the divisive politics begun years ago in the failed attempt to bring down the Clinton White House. Think about it - those constant attacks against the Clintons for eight years led to a mood in the country that doubted Clinton, myself included, when he said we had to go after bin Laden. Look where that led us.

Only fools will believe that this country should be permanently under one party's rule. The radical Right's oath to destroy Democratic chances for future presidencies has all but killed us.

Both of them are crazy dangerous men. The Republican party is in shambles and who ever yells the craziest thing loud enough becomes their new leader.

True Republicans want the President and Country to fail. Then they can take back power. Party is more important than anything else. This is the Rush Limbaugh way. He is now the true leader of the Republican party. Anyone who wants the country to grow and prosper is not a true Republican.

Social scientists in the future will look back after we are all safely dead, and wonder why a fat-head, bigoted, drug addict with absolutely nothing positive to contribute to society became so popular with a certain group of, uh, fine upstanding citizens who wish hard for their government to fail. This little dust up between what-his-name and what-his-name amounts to a gaseous burp from the backside of America's conservative wing.

How dare Rush Limbaugh accuse President Obama of using "fear to promote his agenda". Hey Rush, remember 6 years ago when Bush and Dick Cheney used fears about 9/11 to promote the war in Iraq? No?...I guess you were just too drugged up.

Linbaaugh-the-comedian says, "Why do you claim to lead the Republican Party when you seem obsessed with seeing to it President Obama succeeds?"

As an American, who deeply loves our country, I AM DEEPLY OFFENDED BY WHAT LIMBAUGH SAID! (Sorry I am going to yell!)

SO IS THE AGENDA OF THE GOP TO MAKE SURE PRESIDENT OBAMA FAILS??????????????????????????????????

BECAUSE............... IF IT IS THEN THE GOP ..........WANTS........ OUR NATION TO FAIL!

THE GOP WANTS MORE AMERICANS UNEMPLOYED.

THE GOP WANTS MORE AMERICANS FILING BANKRUPTCY BECAUSE OF THE HIGH COST OF MEDICAL CARE!

THE GOP WANTS OUR SCHOOLS TO CONTINUE TO FAIL, CRUMBLE TO THE GROUND...... AND OUR CHILDREN TO CONTINUE TO LOSE GROUND TO STUDENTS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES THAT WILL BE COMPETING WITH THEM FOR JOBS!

THE GOP WANTS OUR INFRASTRUCTURE TO COLLAPSE!

THE GOP WANTS OUR CITIZENS TO CONTINUE TO LOSE THEIR HOMES AT A RATE OF ONE AN HOUR!

IF THE GOP WANTS AMERICA TO FAIL, LET THEM TELL US NOW........ SO WE KNOW WHO THE .........REAL ENEMY OF AMERICANS AND PROSPERITY IS!

Rush: Don't blame Steele for being in touch with reality. You have never held office or any position of responsibility – no degree, no resume. No responsibility for the things you say. Your only credential is your number of listeners. That makes you an entertainer. Sorry you had to hear that from your party leader.

I DIDN'T REALLY WANT OBAMA EITHER BUT, I SINCERELY HOPE THE GOVERNMENT WORKS TOGETHER TO HELP ALL AMERICAN MAKE IT THROUGH THIS HARD TIME.
