(CNN) – Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh fired back at Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele Monday, suggesting on his radio show the GOP leader appears to be supporting President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
"Why do you claim to lead the Republican Party when you seem obsessed with seeing to it President Obama succeeds?" Limbaugh addressed Steele.
"I frankly am stunned that the chairman of the Republican National Committee endorses such an agenda. I have to conclude that he does because he attacks me for wanting it to fail," said Limbaugh.
Late last week, Steele told CNN's D.L. Hughley that Limbaugh is an "entertainer" whose comments are "ugly."
Also on his radio program Monday, Limbaugh said Steele is being used by the "liberal media."
"Michael Steele has been around long enough to know that the liberal media will use him by twisting what I say or what others say," he said. "He took the bait, he bit down hard on the bait, he launched an attack on me, even though the premise of what was said to him was false."

Rush should be taken away in a BUTTERFLY NET
Afraid your wrong in one since there Phil P. Yes he is a talk-show host. But his opinions and view should be taken serious for the man speaks a lot of true. Too bad we are selling our country short. While some of his remarks may be ugly he is trying to tell us to wake up and smell the roses before it is too late. Me personally agree with a lot of what he is saying and here is where we strongly disagree. We need to listen to what he has to say, im not scared are you?
RL is nothing more then an entertainer. Much like any talk show host. His program is filled with lies, and much like Bill Oreily he NEVER lets anyone with a different point of view speak their mind. They just cut them off and hang up on the caller, then spend the next 5 mins belittling someone who can't defend themselves. Its cheap immature entertainment period. I can't believe so many educated republicans follow this guys. He is nothing more then a recovering drug addict who condemns other drug addicts all the time. HE IS ONE! I wish he'd take too many of the prescription pills soon and just overdose.

You have been called the de facto leader of the GOP. I'm not quite sure that's true anymore, but until the GOP distances itself from false Republicans (aka neo-cons) like yourself, it will continue to be irrelavent. Your day in the sun is over, Rush, and it's time for you and your hate-filled brethern to crawl back under your rocks. But ton't worry. Americans have short attention spans and are easily swayed by empty rhetoric. Before you know it, you'll be able to spew your fascist ideology again. It may not again be in the guise of Republicanism, but you'll get another turn.

Wish that this guy would be offered a job in Alaska as a helicopter hunter guide. Even better if he would accept such a position and moved there !!!! Well i would say we now know who runs the republican – Evangelical party. The winner err whiner is Rush!! hurray for him and his drug issues, also his issues with humanity.
