    Good for you Mr. President, "Let's make friends!". What is Obama suppose to do??? He's the President, and he must make friends how else are we supposed to have peace in this world and stop blaming him for this world's problems he's only a steward, and from the looks of it he has the right approach.

    What did he clarify ?I listened to his answer and it didn't make anything clear to me, it was all double speak any evasion.

    Bush made the mistake of trusting Putin. Please tell me Obama doesn't need more then 10 minutes to learn from Bush's mistake. Putin is a nake, and is not to be trusted.

    I listened to Obama's answer, and it is clear that the letter was an attempt at diplomacy getting one ally to help with one of our enemies.

    This is wisdom, to use your God-given brain rather than saber-rattling like the failed-Bush-administration!

    April – you must be a republican. I know you're use to listening to Bush's simple talk, but you're going to have to work a little harder and understand complete sentences to understand Obama.

    @april – I totally agree.

    His speeches to America was mostly preppy lawyer ivy-league political feel-good with no details.

    I can only imagine that someone in a foreign country getting this translated must just scratch their head.

    He should really let Hillary handle this. She is more straightforward. Just like the Cuba and Georgia invasion during his campaign. He just ended up confusing and angering both sides.

    I have no idea why this even needs clarification, its simple: have Russia as an ally in the war on terror or. Have another cold war over a missile defense shield which they can help build in order to protect themselves as well

    That's what he does best – double speak / evade the question(s). Don't you know that by now?

    "do overs" seem to be the activity of the day. Homeowners will get do-overs. Obama gets a do-over on his placating letter to Russia, and another do-over after giving the PM of Britain the shaft.

    What a leader we have!!!

    He's a lousy speaker without his teleprompter. I'm surprised Rahm allowed it.
