The fact that Steele actually felt it necessary to speak with Limbaugh just proves who really wears the pants in the Republican family. I'm all for it... let Limbaugh keep dictating terms to the party, and make them even more insignificant than they already are.

Rush is no different to the Republican party than Oprah, Michael Moore, or Sean Penn is to the Democratic party. They are ALL entertainment personalities who also have major influence. I never heard the media or the republicans suggest who the real "leader" of the democratic machine was. Why is the White House wasting time & energy & trying so hard to go after Rush?
