WASHINGTON (CNN) - Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Tuesday he has spoken with Rush Limbaugh about his comments regarding the conservative radio talk show host.

"We had a nice conversation last night," Steele said in a statement sent to CNN. "We are all good."

RNC officials described the call as private and did not elaborate on the details of the conversation between the two men.

I agree both men have a very common enemy and that is Obama and his socialism agenda.

Steel is the head of the GOP but the fact is the GOP is not very conservative at this time. Rush is the head of our Conservative party!

I would like to see the GOP become more Conservative so they could in fact beat Obama and his band of Socialist.

The only point I like to make is the Democrats would love to see Rush in a fight with the Gop so Americans would no longer focus on them and how they plan on raping our country for the next 4 years.

If Rush and Steel can work together the GOP can again start being the party of the American people and put an end to the Democrat party and their socialism agenda!

Here is a party that has taken on the Clinton machine, ran a well orchestrated smear campaign against John Kerry, fooled religious leaders to sway their congregations to focus on non-pressing issues facing our nation and tricked the American people into voting for Bush for a 2nd term.
With all of those bag of tricks you mean to tell me that the Republicans cannot take out one loud mouth idiot talk radio host….what a bunch of WIMPS!

When is the economy supposed to recover on it's own. after wall street giants steal the rest of the billions we have to go around; after everyone loses thier jobs. after all of our retirements funds are gone. Bush decided to do nothing and this is were we are. Fact or fiction?

If there was ever any doubt as to who controls the Republican party, that doubt has vanished. It is indeed controlled by the ignorant, hate mongers, and they have so much control that Mr. Steele is forced to crawl back to them on his belly and beg for forgiveness. These people clearly represent the new Nazi-like threat of this century. Bigotry, hatred and demagoguery combined with jaw-dropping ignorance – be afraid, America – be very afraid.

Dont' worry America. Obama is going to restrict free speach and you won't hear from Rush anymore.

Then again, by the time Obama is finished, we won't hear from you either.

That's what happens when you're black and think you could be accepted by the conservative neo-cons. Like I said before, nothing but an Uncle tom
    ---------–
i can firmly see the racist rants continue. Let me get this straight, any black man who fails to bow down at the alter is a token or uncle tom? Wonder why we can't progess as a people? We kill lthose (thru our words) who disagree with us! I hope your proud! What you fail to remember is the GOP is changing just like the Dems changed in the 60s and 70s. It was the dems who mostly voted against the Civil Rights Act of 64! Yet they are widely embraced by blacks. So don't fault the GOP for changing as well. But you will because it doesn't fit your liberal/socalist agendas!

Rush is now officially the Don Carleone of the Republican Party – the "enforcer". If anyone dares challenge him, they will be TAKEN OUT. And the GOP is now the Mob.

I've got news for Mr. Steele: Any party that has a narrow-minded, egotistical, and self-centered ideologue like Rush Limbaugh as a mouthpiece is not "all good." It's sick, sick, and getting sicker!
