WASHINGTON (CNN) – President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will head to Europe at the end of the month, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs announced Thursday.

People talk about the situation President Obama inherited from President Bush, but they seem to forget he was in the Senate from 2004, not exactly new to D.C. and the way Washington works. Of course he was campaigning for the better part of two years, so he may have missed some things.

Wow, some people seem to be awfully "unpatriotic." The tables have turned. The Obamas are visiting Europe. How are they at all at fault? Don't be so quick to point fingers.

All the negitive talk is yet another example of why the republicans lost the last election. If you have nothing constructive to say then say nothing. Less than 2 months into the presidency and every one is a critic. The world seems to like the Obama's a lot more than the last admisistration. Keep up the good work the more negitive you are and the nastier your comments only reinforces the idea that we did indeed elect the right person. I think ol Rush should just keep up his retoric it is really helping you guy's out a lot. Maybe your numbers will go even lower in the poll's. Or do you still not get it. ??????

All you Republicans have got to get a life. Go do something constructive. The Democratic party doesn't need your sniveling, whiny voices around. We'll do just fine without you, thank you very much. It's nice to finally watch a real president at work...

Hey, why don't all you negative, right-wingers put your tail between your legs and limp back to where you belong: on Fox News. You, Rupert, Rush, Ann, Sean...have a love fest...

Before wasting more of my taxes (the Feds are darn lucky I am still employed to continue my tax donations into their black hole) on travel, the 'Bamas really should consider teleconferencing. There are many benefits, such as using less fuel, using less time, not dealing with jet lag, and producing less CO2. Getting cozy with the leaders will not earn their trust, respect or support. So stay home and work hard like the rest of us!!
