(CNN) – Citing an “overwhelming response” of tens of thousands of replies, the Democratic National Committee has narrowed down its top five messages from supporters to Rush Limbaugh.
With responses like, “We can fix America, just don’t Rush it,” the DNC is asking its online backers to vote for their favorite submission. The winning slogan will be placed on a billboard in Limbaugh’s hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida where the organization says he “can’t miss it.”
The responses purportedly poured in after the DNC sent an e-mail to its supporters last week urging Democrats to “talk back” to a right-wing radio personality.
“It's up to you to let Rush know that Americans reject his desire to see President Obama - and our country – fail,” DNC Executive Director Jen O’Malley Dillon wrote in the latest e-mail.
The DNC has not announced when it plans to put up the billboard.

Why does Limbaugh want to share his own lot in life with Obama? We know that misery loves company, so it seems that failure too desires to pal around with someone. I can hear Limbaugh's own self-fulfilling mantra,"Fail, baby, fail; fail, baby, fail...."
Although it gives him more attention than his bloated personality deserves, it should say no more than "You s#ck you fat drug addict" Not on the topic but relevant nonetheless

I want Obama to fail too. Socialism has ruined every country it’s tried in. Taking money from people who earned it and giving it to people who did not is stealing.
What amazes me about this is that Obama offered the Republicans a golden opportunity to get back in the game and become relevant again. Unfortunately they misread this opportunity and went back to their dirt Rove tactics.
On top of that, they allowed Rush to become their spokesperson! They will never get the moderates and independent voters that their party needs if they continue to go along this route. Thry must start rejecting extremists such as Palin, Ann Coulter, Limbaugh and others of their ilk.
Seems like the future lies with new blood such as Meghan McCain, who has the guts and the wisdom to "call it like it is". Too many Taliban fundamentalist extremists have high-jacked the Republican party, and now they are stuck with them, and are controlled by them. Too bad.

The DNC can attempt to marginalize Rush, but he can't be diminished.
He is a true American Icon. Any intelligent person can filter Rush for themselves, and see what he is all about. He is amazing and no one can deny that. The DNC has really lost it this time, if they dare to think that they can 'crush Rush"... they are delusional and basically dumber than dirt.
