President Obama has been "Superman" in his first 50 days. He has accomplished more in 50 days than any president in their first 50.

Let's not have a short memory on how we got here.

President Obama is pushing hard to make changes to a government that unfortunately has grown very polarized at a critical time in history when we need everyone "pulling on the oars" in unison. I would give the President high marks for trying to get our country back on its feet quickly. Have there been mistakes, sure, but he has admitted them and his team is working to get America rolling again.

Republicans like Senator Shelby need to come out of the ether and realize we are in a crisis in this country and work with the incumbents. Thxs for listening.

People need to get real with their expectations after all, this president was handed a bankrupt country fighting a war of choice in Iraq.

We teach the children so many things that they cannot get from fundamentals. We teach them to be creative, to use their brains in different ways.

All over this country there are surveys proving that the most successful people in this country have a strong Fine Arts background! Fine Arts Matter... Fine Arts teach our children to think beyond the test! And that is what they need. We need to stop testing our children all year long and start TEACHING them! Then we can test them on the subject matter, and we can quickly tell if our children are learning or not!

First 50 days? So far I have a good idea of the way President Obama would like to take this country. That is why I voted for him. A's in all the columns.

I think he's doing a great job. Everyone might not like his policies but at least he is trying to do his best to get America on track again. I don't agree with all of his policies but I'm glad he is taking initiative.

When are we going to quit blaming teachers? If teachers are great give them a bonus, but weeding out bad teachers? Give me a break! How 'bout getting parents to quit thinking about suing schools when little Johnny misbehaves and start backing up these poor human beings who are trying to bring up decent citizens? I think one issue that is being ignored in the effort to improve education is the problem of teenage pregnancies. Children raising children does not usually lead to strong parental support which is so important to ensuring children get a good education.

Considering to group of spoiled Repuplicans across the aisle I think he is doing OK. You would after they get spanked twice they would see the light. They will continue to fight until the Country is so deep in trouble it will take a Genious to get it back on an even keel. McConnell, Boehner, Ried and Pelosi have got to go. Ironic that Obama makes the Education speech at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and then states that the Latinos have been the most deprived of education. Excuse me, but in all honesty why is he all of a sudden catering to the Latinos. What happen to the majority of African Americans that voted for him??? There are two Types of grading. They are criteian based evaluations where the teacher looks at a particular set of needed and evaluates based on whether or not the criteria are met. On this score I would say

The other type of evaluation is "normative based" . In normative evaluation the teacher compares hoe well an individual does compared to others in the students class. I think that the president has done a great job to date on most every issue. But I am very disapointed in what is getting ready to happen concerning the omni hog rooting it's way to the white house. What a missed opportunity it will be if the president signs the pork laden bill.

As a republican, I think Obama is doing well. A lot of us thought he might have a hidden agenda, but so far his moderate centrist approach seems to be what the country needs.

His style of piling one thing on top of another without much degree of oversight and details to follow inspire the eventual outcome, a shoddy job which cost an unbelievable amount of money. Overall he gets a D-. An A for effort and below F for approach and naivete.
