Yes, that's it, let's spend more and more money. What happened to the "I won't ever sign a bill with earmarks in it!" statement from the campaign?

And don't try to make an excuse that this is Bush's bill. YOU'RE the one signing it, not Bush and it was written by a bunch of pork spenders. Show some fiscal responsibility.

Was this the bill that he said after this one there would be no more earmarks, or did he say that after the stimulus bill or, I can't keep up with the lies anymore?

    At the Obama/McCain debate on September 26, 2008 –

"John, nobody is denying that $18 billion is important. And, absolutely, we need earmark reform . And when I'm president, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely."

Maybe next time around? Probably never. Change you shouldn't have believed in.

On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, just minutes before learning of the terrorist attacks on America, Democratic strategist James Carville was hoping for President Bush to fail, telling a group of Washington reporters: "I certainly hope he doesn't succeed." Why doesn't the MSM report that? It is basphemy if Rush says such things about Obama, but it was OK to say them about Bush. LIBERALS ARE HYPOCRITES

"Earmarks" that some of the complainers want. Hypocrisy is a step-mother.

We haven't had a budget since October. Bush should have handled this before he left office, instead of spending an extra year being a lamer duck than he normally is. Now, President Obama is stuck with a bill that is almost 6 months overdue, and not signing it would have shut down the country.

I can't believe that people are bashing him for signing a bill that was supposed to be taken care of last October. For some folks, he'll never do anything right.

Another campaign promise thrown under the bus. You simply cannot trust what Obama says.

In less than 60 days, Obama has proven to be on track to be the worst president the United States has ever had.

Perhaps CNN and the mainstream media will do their job next time and really question candidates before campaigning for them.

You stupid people and these earmarks. Do you know what earmarks are and what they are for? We are a republic and earmarks are a way for the representatives from where-ever can get funds to do projects for their communities. Now reform is needed i know this but say if you live in New york city and you need money for a mall to be built is that wasteful? Yes but say you live in a small town where there is no mall but the community has needs other than a fricken wal mart. Is that wasteful? No. Reform it and be done with it. Everyone pays Taxes and so let people decide where the money should go.

Better a hipocrite than a LIER

    READ MY LIPS

Ill go through the BILL LINE BY LINE.

Going back on a promise was good enough for Bush Sr its good enough for Pres Obama

To blame the other side IS NOT NEW ITS THE SAME OLD TIRED POLITICS

No CHANGE JUST A BUNCH OF BLAMING and misdirection

A house divided against itself cannot stand (A. Lincoln)

But it sure comes in handy if you want to get a TON spending and bills done or even when you want to take the heat off YOURSELVES

    Same old DC tactic
    BLAME THE OTHER PARTY

Pres Obama and the left's variation
BLAME THE OTHER PARTY FOR EVERYTHING

Seems to work... Its not honest ...but it seems to be working because so many people hated the last 8 years.
It's OK to do ANYTHING if you bash the right while doing it.

Nothing new here and makes for a fun drinking game.
(pick any press conference or when anyone on the left talks and at every bash against the last eight years or GOP or Bush and you take a shot)
