Former President George W. Bush will discuss some of the defining decisions of his presidency in a new book.

(CNN) – Former President George W. Bush is writing a book focusing on defining decisions he's made in his personal and political life, a publishing house announced Thursday.

The book, tentatively titled "Decision Points," is to be published in fall 2010, according to the Crown Publishing Group. Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The book will focus on about 12 important decisions made by the former president. Topics will include his decision to run for president, his choice of his closest advisers, the September 11 terrorist attacks, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, his response to Hurricane Katrina, the forming of his stem cell research policy, his decision to quit drinking, how he found faith and his relationships with his father, mother, siblings and wife.

We've already read the book, it was called "W" by Oliver Stone.

Is it going to have pictures and pop ups?

No one will need to read this book when all we have to do is look at how his multiple mistakes have affected this country for the present and for years to come.

A must read for all aspiring politicians, Bush's book will be a really good recipe for what NOT to do.

Bush's legacy: a good bad example.

Ah, more fodder for the hatemongering left-wingers on this blog.

Thankfully, this president kept us safe, and it wasnt until the liberals took over Congress that the economy went in to the toilet. That is now abundantly clear from the outright lies we heard from Dodd this week.

Gosh, why can't Bush and his cronies just go away, neve to be heard from again. If he's too stupid to understand the damage that he has done to this nation he needs to have his head examined. He's one of the most hated men in America.

The book should be called " Inept decisions made by the WORST President ever elected". Only fools would waste their money and actually buy a copy. The clown can't speak english without mangling the language, how the heck is he going to write anythig properly with out a ton of help? He needs to just disappear on his ranch and let the nation recover from the 8 years of HELL we have suffered from this fool.

Silly Bush, don't you know by now no one wants to listen to your ramblings? I could care less about you now that you have finally left. I do believe you said before your term ended that you would stay out of the public eye because it was someone else's turn. I guess you can't even keep your word outside of political duties. As to your responses to Hurricane Katrina and your decisions in the two wars, I suppose you will drag it out with 100 pages of how you wanted the best for America and the American people. You failed and no amount of propaganda will explain away the deaths of thousands who fought diligently and cooperatively for you and your "plans". The best thing you could do for this country right now is leave it alone and let another more capable person fix your mistakes.

Who is going to write the book for him? That probably won't be a decision he will discuss. Too bad for the rest of us that W gave up drinking.

He may want to have somebody look over it first to have somebody confirm if every decision he thinks was important was something smart people would consider important. For example, deciding where in Arizona to celebrate John McCain's birthday, while hurricane Katrina was drowning the Gulf Coast? Not an important decision. Deciding whether to color inside the lines or outside of them? Not an important decision.

Speaking of which, I'm sure I'm not the first to be amazed that Bush is "writing" a book, and it *isn't* a coloring book.

...and it was at that point that I realized they called it "underwear," because you wear it UNDER your pants. Almost invariably, this will be revisionist history at its finest and will certainly highlight his success in dealing with Hurricane Katrina, the economy, and when he personally put Osama Bin Laden in a figure-four leglock.

I'm sure this book will be much like our already published history books where white men who behave badly will somehow be exonerated.

Dubya is writting a book? Who in there right mind would read it, we lived it for 8 years. We were under a dictatorship, our conversations were listened too, our internet was policed. We had BIG BROTHER watching our every move. If you spoke out about the Adminstration, you could have been picked up and placed into a camp and tortured. Our Constitutional rights were violated. We actually had no rights and what Bush/Cheney say we were safe. To me that is BS

He's going to write a book with all of his accomplishments as President? A book full of blank pages won't sell very well, especially with his picture on the cover! How many copies did Rush pre-order??

With all the citicism he has and is still receiving, this may enlighten citizens to the tough choices he had to make. We do not and never will know all the facts regardless who is president. Each president, regardless of party and differences, will not make public every detail and should be granted time to prove his decisions.

I wonder if he will admit the 12 biggest mistakes he made too. I doubt it though. Probably still thinks he did the best job of any president in history.

That was always what I disliked about Bush the most, never admitting when he made a mistake, Americans will forgive you for a lot of stuff if you just cop to it quickly and not tell us a river of lies. Again just look at Obama, already apologized for something he thought he did wrong. Even if you don't like Obama you have to admit it was nice to hear.
