Bachmann has already been assured that the United States will not adopt another currency.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Rep. Michele Bachmann has introduced a bill that would prohibit the president from signing on to a global currency, despite congressional testimony from Obama administration officials that they would reject any proposal to replace the dollar.

In hearings earlier this week, the Republican congresswoman called on Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to denounce the idea that the United States might adopt any other currency. Both men did.

Bachmann's bill, introduced Wednesday, proposes a constitutional amendment "to prohibit the President from entering into a treaty or other international agreement that would provide for the United States to adopt as legal tender in the United States a currency issued by an entity other than the United States."

During Tuesday's hearing, Bachmann pointed to recent remarks from Russia and China as part of the basis for her concern - comments suggesting that countries which have used the dollar as their reserve currency might begin to consider other sources. But those decisions, which would be made by foreign governments, would be unaffected by any congressional legislation, and would have no impact on U.S. currency decisions.

Bachmann's bill has been referred to the Judiciary Committee.

It is clear that one lie has to participate with the same lie time, and time again now that we have Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on the same table; how long before President Obama joins them. Then it will be stand by my man all over again.

We need to keep the United States of America independent, and out of union with a global banking proposal. So Mr. President do not weaken the dollar any more than you already have!

ruth   March 26th, 2009 11:05 pm ET

Can this woman read? Obama said he would reject any proposal to replace the dollar?

Drew Williams   March 26th, 2009 11:04 pm ET

Good lord, does this woman realize the difference between the currency the global economy is liked to - which happens to be the dollar right now - and the US domestic currency, of which NO ONE has suggested replacing? Idiot.

At least someone in Washington thinks we should remain a sovereign nation. A global currency may seem like a good idea on the surface but it would hand our monetary policy over to an entity we don't control and if you haven't noticed, the rest of the world hates us.

Linda from Minnesota   March 26th, 2009 10:33 pm ET

She is a fringe lunatic from Minnesota. No one should pay any attention to her.

Campaign for liberty   March 26th, 2009 10:32 pm ET

Thank you Michele Bachmann, this bill sounds like it abolishes the Federal Reserve!

Chipster   March 26th, 2009 10:30 pm ET

Since the President has no plans to enter into a treaty or International agreement to adopt any currency than the U.S. currency, I'm not certain why Bachmann is wasting time on this. However, if it keeps her busy for a while, maybe it will prevent her from creating problems here. If she feels the need to be involved in foreign legislation, perhaps she needs to relocate her office in at least one of those nations.

Robert   March 26th, 2009 10:29 pm ET

Bachman is disgusting, grandstanding, and sounds like an airheaded Joe McCarthy sometimes. I know my family in Northern MN did not vote for her. What idiots did? Really...

They should change the name of the Republican Party to the 'Idiot Tree' because whenever it's shaken more idiots seem to fall out.

MCD, San Francisco, CA   March 26th, 2009 9:40 pm ET

Sounds to me like these people are falling for their own propaganda! Everybody on the right is freaking out about what our President is GOING to do tomorrow, next week, next year. They all act like they have known him for years and are privy to some hidden agenda. Good grief!

The american people elected him to do exactly what he said he was going to do. They can try to demonize Obama as much as they want, the American people are wise to their ways.

Dick Marple   March 26th, 2009 9:39 pm ET

Isn't thedollar defined as one troy ounce of silver? That is what is imprinted on the coins coming out of West Point mint as this is written. These coins are being sold as a commodity by the corporate government through brokers, distributer and dealers for FRN's. Perhaps a review of Senator Peter Rodino' repeal of HJR 192 ,September 13, 1982 and the repeal of the "legal Tender" authority that went along with that congressional action should be of serious concern, and the fraud that is apparent addressed with criminal action. Attention Michele Bachmann !

Mike from Canmore   March 26th, 2009 9:33 pm ET

Yes, MS. Bachmann is a marginally smarter version of the Republican yummy mummy, but replace the dollar? Get real. The closest thing to an international currency is the U.S. dollar. Whether your in Mexico, Canada, the Phillipines or Indonesia, somebody will take your money in markets and movie theatres. If the UK will not give up the pound, whay would the US give up the dollar. What a delightful distraction. It's great that a party with an affinity for spitting on the Constitution has such affinity for the greenback.

Melissa   March 26th, 2009 9:09 pm ET

What a totally idiotic idea.

Danny   March 26th, 2009 9:05 pm ET

Haven't we already done that by replacing the true US dollar with so called Federal Reserve notes? The constitution states clearly what a dollar actually is. It also states clearly that the power to coin money and regulate it's value is given to the Congress. That power can not be given to another entity. And certainly not a private corporation such as the Federal Reserve. We sold old a long time ago with the Federal Reserve Act.

Jim, Tacoma   March 26th, 2009 9:05 pm ET

*sigh*

I worry sometimes. A global currency would be a bad choice now, but I don't think we should tie our hands in that way. There may be a time in the future when a global currency is important. The Euro has helped to create a structural strategic community in Europe, and we should not be closing off possible means of overcoming the Security Dillema.

Kent in CA   March 26th, 2009 9:00 pm ET

These people should connect the dots and stop the silly flag-waving. As part of an agreement on an international currency, we could demand that the Yuan be floated in international markets. We have been clamoring for this for more than a decade. This is NOT a bad thing. When our economy rebounds (and I truly believe it will), this will work in our favor as the exchange rate of Dollar to Yuan through the international currency will make our products more competitive.

This does not mean that an international currency would necessarily be 'legal tender in the United States'.

This isolationist behavior is short-sighted and downright dangerous.

Republicans are CRAZY!   March 26th, 2009 8:49 pm ET

The Republicans are going to be a fringe "regional party" if they keep it up with this grandstanding about "conservative principles".

This is a waste of time and takes away from the fact that the Republicans still don't have any alternate plan to what the Dems are offering.

Boehner holding up an empty blue folder that says "Republican Road to Recovery" does not impress me that much.

I can see Canada from my house!   March 26th, 2009 8:45 pm ET

Has Ms Bachman stopped to think that because the US dollar is the effective international standard for currency that we ALREADY have a global currency, and its our dollar? Honestly, where do these nitwits on the Right find these people? Bachman needs to stick to things she actually knows something about: now the only problem is finding something she actually knows something about!

No one is burning flags so why no flag burning amendment? How about an anti-vampire law? Why don't we prohibit Martians from haunting houses? After all, there are no Martians and there is no such thing as a haunted house. What about a proposal to prevent bakers from selling concrete cupcakes.

Give me a break.

Second: even if foreign countries were waiting on American permission, President Obama has openly ruled out going along with that idea...so no reason to get all worked up with a bill

Third: Bachman is simply trying to claim credit with a bill that will prevent something Obama was never going to sign on to, and that never had jurisdiction in Global decisions

Question does this have the potential to backfire. .

I mean, what stops other countries from just saying "screw the dollar", and use other currencies. I mean how much of a say does the US have in that matter, if a large amount of countries chose another currency?(Some one explain this because, i don't understand the whole world/reserve/currency market)

I would prefer the World Reserve to be a dollar, because its gives us a little bit of an edge, but I mean, if the Chinese get a word of this. Couldn't
't they just stop buying US debt, since they see the US trying to make the dollar permanent in a sense. I mean i wouldn't want to play chicken with my major banker.

We don't need an amendment to the Constitution to prohibit the U.S. from adopting a currency issued by an entity other than the U.S. Congresswoman Bachmann needs to introduce meaningful legislation that addresses real problems. As you recall this is the same Michelle Bachmann that called on Congress to investigate members who are "unAmerican". No administration official has proposed adopting a global currency. Her actions over and over pander to her extreme right wing base of supporters. She should concencrate of fixing real problems instead of wasting her efforts on something no one is even considering. Just like the idiot down in Florida who wants a bill that checks up on presidential birth certificates, Bachmann has too much time on her hands.

Her party got skewered today b/c the lied (surprise?) about having an alternate budget and came up empty. They would rather scream and yell from the sidelines about the economy, education, healthcare, but coming up with concret, well-thought out solutions is just too hard.

The American people as a result will respond accordingly in 2010, just like 2006 and 2008. I know I will.

What a ridiculous waste of air.

The real issue is if other countries start dropping the dollar as their reserve currency, the value against other currencies will fall like the stock market did in the last few months. This bill does nothing to stop this from happening. I believe it's real purpose is to distract people from the real danger if other countries drop the dollar. It may make is feel better but has no real benefit.

Dave in Stillwater   March 26th, 2009 7:02 pm ET

Oh...I see our resident nut-case is at it again. We can only hope that last November's backlash sticks around long enough to show her the door – we need an effective voice in Washington...not a laughing-stock.

Di   March 26th, 2009 7:01 pm ET

Finally someone remembers we have a CONSTITUTION! Obama needs to be stopped!! If the election was held today, Obama would loss. We the people have been shown his true colors! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!

Robert   March 26th, 2009 7:01 pm ET

We have to protect against Obama's excesses before they happen. Otherwise, a Brave New World is not far away. Bravo Michelle.

speak   March 26th, 2009 7:00 pm ET

That's right, the rest of the world would move forward while we tied our own hands. Thanks Michele.

Robin in Tampa Fl   March 26th, 2009 6:59 pm ET

Going to a super currency is hypothetical at this point. I think enacting such a law now based more on emotions and not an facts may end up hurting us *IF* it becomes necessary to goto such a system in the future.

MC- Atlanta,GA   March 26th, 2009 6:58 pm ET

This woman is a whack job. She proved that with her comments about anti-american view crap during the campaign last year.

KR   March 26th, 2009 6:57 pm ET

This repub needs to get a life and when she wants to run the country then run for president. Bet she would never make it. I have seen articles on other sites pertaining to her and she is just another repub trying to make Obama fail. She must have been talking to good old Rush.

Andrew Nelson in Illinois   March 26th, 2009 6:56 pm ET

Ok, is there anyone else who is sick and tired of the craziness that is Michelle Bachmann? She just blabs one stupid thing after another and does it to get attention.

KR   March 26th, 2009 6:55 pm ET

This repub needs to get a life and when she wants to run the country then run for president. Bet she would never make it.

Dylan from Minneapolis   March 26th, 2009 6:55 pm ET

And the winner for the most useless piece of legislation goes to...

Anonymous   March 26th, 2009 6:55 pm ET

Bachmann does not understand what a reserve currency is.

Scott   March 26th, 2009 6:54 pm ET

This woman is insane. But she knows how to get attention and we give it to her!

South Carolina   March 26th, 2009 6:53 pm ET

Praise God fot this woman's integrity regarding the proposal on the constitutional amendment "to prohibit the President from entering into a treaty or other international agreement that would provide for the United States to adopt as legal tender in the United States a currency issued by an entity other than the United States." Copied from the above post. Everything I have suspected about Obama and I am sure many others feel the same is that he is very much against what America stands for and is on his way to causing us to deteriate from within. Why have enemise when we already have this one?

Shirley in California   March 26th, 2009 6:53 pm ET

We all know what the "B" stands for in her name and its not Bachmann.

Jeffrey in Georgia   March 26th, 2009 6:52 pm ET

A constitutional amendment? Really? Seriously? When I started reading this article, I thought, well, hmmm, I'm against global currency, I like the dollar, maybe I would support a bill, it seems a bit excessive, but maybe there's cause for a bill that states . . .

And then I got to the constitutional amendment part. Constitutional amendments are NOT to be used for petty crap like this! Constitution amendments should PROTECT rights, not limit things.

Ravi   March 26th, 2009 6:51 pm ET

Good for her. I strongly disagree with Repubs, but I am sick and tired of our beloved republic continually surrendering our sovereignty to foreign powers. I'm sure China and the European Communist Union would LOVE for us to adopt their global currency (wonder what they'll call it).

Hope?   March 26th, 2009 6:51 pm ET

How did this woman get re-elected??? She is utterly insane and wasting good tax payer $$$ . There must be a billion more qualified people to take her place.

By The People   March 26th, 2009 6:51 pm ET

I can't take anything from Ms. Bachman seriously.

arithmetic is liberal   March 26th, 2009 6:50 pm ET

Oh, by the way as a side note before anyone brings it up:

1. There is no such thing as the AMERO.
2. The dollar isn't being replaced.
3. This idea germinated with fascist nativist radio host Hal Turner.

Charlie in Maine   March 26th, 2009 6:50 pm ET

Um, guess what? There is a global currency already. It is called the US dollar. Let's not be silly and petty by insulting the rest of the world with such nonsense.

SCOTT   March 26th, 2009 6:50 pm ET

SHE IS A LOSER!

windfall   March 26th, 2009 6:49 pm ET

she's the biggest lunatic in all of Washingtonland.

Enough   March 26th, 2009 6:48 pm ET

Bachmann is a waste of taxpayer dollars. The good people of MN deserve better representation than this ridiculous redundancy. President Obama was clear about not wanting a global currency.

RoadRunner   March 26th, 2009 6:47 pm ET

Good move. This legislation is needed. It should also contain enabling legislation to effectively enforce it.

Mark   March 26th, 2009 6:47 pm ET

Bachmann is a moron!!! It says alot about the people who voted for her and the district in Minnesota she comes from... God save this country from idiots such as her.

Pete   March 26th, 2009 6:46 pm ET

This little twit does realize that if the Euro becomes dominant, or China/Russia succeed in creating their new currency, her proposal for a Constitutional Amendment prohibiting the US from participating would permanently destroy the US economy, especially if the world dumped the dollar.

american   March 26th, 2009 6:46 pm ET

Can't the right leave our constitution alone? I'll stick with the framers, thank you.

Eric   March 26th, 2009 6:45 pm ET

This woman is a nut case. Her bill will go nowhere.

Minnesota   March 26th, 2009 6:44 pm ET

Typical Republican. Nonesense legislation bent on fear and deflection. This woman is one of the worst and I am ashamed to say she's from my State. All the problems we got going on and she's doing this crap. Like, she's some sort of protector from the evil Obama Administration who already told her they don't want it. Ugh!!!

Blue   March 26th, 2009 6:44 pm ET

This Bachmann chick is a complete and unadulterated psychotic! There must be some wacko jobs in the congressional district she represents in Minnesota for her to get re-elected after some of the outrageous, unpatriotic, and quite frankly delusional actions on her part. What a disgrace!

Leslie   March 26th, 2009 6:44 pm ET

Excellent Representative Bachman, we need more representatives and Senators like you who put their country first instead of special interest. Geithner testified today of taking over private businesses and put it under FDIC, what will stop them from taking over private properties of individuals in this country that includes their bank accounts? WAKE UP AMERICA! WE ARE LOSING OUR COUNTRY TO A BUNCH OF RADICALS IN THE WHITEHOUSE, CONGRESS AND SENATE!

Jonah Horowitz   March 26th, 2009 6:44 pm ET

Michelle Bachman has got to be the wingnuttist congressperson there is. I hope the people of her district are proud!

DB25   March 26th, 2009 6:44 pm ET

Um, this woman is a lunatic. I can't believe people in Minnesota voted for her. Doesn't say much for Minnesota, does it?

JF   March 26th, 2009 6:43 pm ET

These Repugs will come up with ANYTHING to try to make themselves appear relevant. Must be sad to be in their shoes !!

helloooooOOOO   March 26th, 2009 6:43 pm ET

Thanks Michele Bachmann, you can sit down now. Has she nothing better to do with her time?

Rachel   March 26th, 2009 6:41 pm ET

Thank goodness we have someone trying to stop the monster in office. He is in love with himself and it is definately NOT a summer thing!

I am so tired of Michelle Bachmann and all Republicans!

Notnek   March 26th, 2009 6:40 pm ET

Bachmann is dumber than dirt. As a former resident of Minnesota this person is so far from the extreme right she is a bigger joke than Palin. We all got to see her sucking on George's face in public. All she is doing is pandering to the extreme Right in her district.

Eat the Press   March 26th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

Whack job. Loony Toons. Moron. Intolerant Xenophobe. Homophobe Evangelical nut case

The Broker.   March 26th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

Fargo! Nobody care's. When will you listen. Save the USA! Why...

VGal   March 26th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

Bauchman, Palin, Limbaugh, Coulter, Ingraham, Thompson and (unfortunately, because I used to really like him...) Jindal. Those are the leaders of the Republican party. Wow – now it takes some hard work to find that many nut cases leading one group.

Paul   March 26th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

This Michelle Bachman?

'I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us, “Having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,” and the people – we the people – are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country.'

Inciting violence against the government because you disagree with their policies is, in the 21st century, the sign of a nut.

Steve   March 26th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

So why was this attention-hungry cretin re-elected again?

Peter (CA)   March 26th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

No wonder she almost lost.
Bachman is a true whack job. She is the one who thought members of Congress should be investigated for "unpatriotic behavior".
I can draw up a list for you Congresswoman. Don't be surprised to find yourself on it.

BobH   March 26th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

I am very sensitive to the feelings of mentally ill and developmentally challenged individuals. But I really wish they would call a brief moratorium on the prohibition of the word "retarded," so that we'd have an accurate term to describe Rep. Bachmann.

rumpusgoopus   March 26th, 2009 6:32 pm ET

As a Minnesotan, I will never stopped being ashamed of this woman.

Mark, B'ham., Al.   March 26th, 2009 6:30 pm ET

We need to go back to the Gold Standard and stop printing money for the government to do social engineering with and cause super inflation until our money is worthless like Zimbabwa and have to carry a wheel barrel full to buy a loaf of bread.

arithmetic is liberal   March 26th, 2009 6:29 pm ET

This lady has so many screws loose, I'm shocked her head doesn't blow apart every time she sneezes...

What's next?
Legislation to prove the moon landings were faked?
A bill against the Trilateral Commission?
HB666 denouncing Satan taking over the country?
Regulations for UN black helicopters?

How about size regulations in tin foil hats?

B.H.   March 26th, 2009 6:29 pm ET

How in the world do people like this ever get to Congress. Perhaps she is an example of why we are in this situation.

PAPPY   March 26th, 2009 6:28 pm ET

This person belongs in a mental institution she has proved it time and time again

montag   March 26th, 2009 6:28 pm ET

Why in God's name did the good people of Minnesota elect this woman? She is genuinely certifiable.

Matt   March 26th, 2009 6:28 pm ET

She's a nutjob. I can't believe she got voted back in. What a joke.

Objective Thinking   March 26th, 2009 6:28 pm ET

How can CNN claim that Russia and China's decisions won't impact US currency decisions? Especially in the case of China, the biggest investor in American debt. CNN went out of their way to make fun of a Republican and is overstepping the bounds of their own knowledge and research.

PAPPY   March 26th, 2009 6:28 pm ET

This person belong in a mental institution she has proved it time and time again

VGal   March 26th, 2009 6:27 pm ET

She's a serious loony – who voted this woman back into office?

Sniffit   March 26th, 2009 6:26 pm ET

That's right, pretend that there's a danger of them doing it no matter what they say so that your idiot "base" will think they might do it and that there's a big to-do controversy to holler about.

D   March 26th, 2009 6:26 pm ET

Finally something Rep. Bachmann has said that make sense! As a Minnesota Republican, I rarely agree with Bachmann.... but this is something that I can sign on to.

Chris   March 26th, 2009 6:25 pm ET

Bachman is an irritant, like that fly buzzing around one's soup bowl.

Nate Hussein   March 26th, 2009 6:24 pm ET

What's wrong with this lady? Maybe Barack needs to legalize weed to help her relax!

Delano   March 26th, 2009 6:23 pm ET

I am sure the wonderful people of Minnesota would love to hear how their Rep is wasting her time and their tax dollars coming up with legislation that would completely pointless beucase both Sec Geithner and President Obama would never along with a global currency policy. This woman is insane. Maybe she should spend her time worrying more important things.

Pete Collins   March 26th, 2009 6:23 pm ET

Republicans are only willing to create imaginary problems to distract us from the real disasters they have helped Bush create. President Obama is working to solve REAL crises, so those other people should go someplace and be quiet.

Mitch   March 26th, 2009 6:22 pm ET

Notice how the most outrageous and moronic legislation comes from some of the most outrageous and moronic congressmen?

Had It   March 26th, 2009 6:22 pm ET

Does Rove know she appointed herself "world decision-maker in charge"? Does Limbaugh know?

She's a disgusting witch.

Steph   March 26th, 2009 6:22 pm ET

Uh hum...Ms. Bachmann, I know you're crazy and everything, but there is no chance that the president will sign on the a global currency. Please move on to important issues like, what did you say...the shortage of rich people in the US? You tha man, Michelle (chest thump).

patriot   March 26th, 2009 6:20 pm ET

Can this woman explain why she has introduced this bill, other than to publicly express her contempt for other nations and her distrust of and hostility toward the current administration?

Aaron   March 26th, 2009 6:19 pm ET

She is a grandstanding moron.

jim/redondo beach   March 26th, 2009 6:18 pm ET

...this lady is a Stepford idiot...who's feeding her lines?...

Lisa P   March 26th, 2009 6:18 pm ET

This woman is nuttier than a fruit cake. Which I suppose qualifies her to be Palin's VP candidate according to the Republicans (those that are left, that is...).

Sarah   March 26th, 2009 6:17 pm ET

Obviously, Bachman lacks the prerequisites to be in her position. Given her contant string of ridiculous remarks and actions, she needs to be on probation. Seriously! Dude is one flaky clown.

Venia PA   March 26th, 2009 6:17 pm ET

Another great example of a rethuglican! Wow, they are literally the party of the insane, how sad. I guess all that hate, evil, divisiveness and negativity kind of works on ya.

Liz   March 26th, 2009 6:17 pm ET

Michele Bachmann is a great congresswoman and leader for the Republican party. We need more women and more Republicans like her!

Jeff   March 26th, 2009 6:16 pm ET

Yeah, go Michelle. Bachmann in 2012! We need more nuts in the White House.

gl, Pittsburgh   March 26th, 2009 6:15 pm ET

Rep. Michele Bachmann has introduced a bill that would prohibit the president from signing on to a global currency, despite congressional testimony from Obama administration officials that they would reject any proposal to replace the dollar.
-------------------------------–

Isn't she the nut that wanted Congress to be investated to see who is the real American? I watched the whole interview and she lied and say she didn't say it. I hate a liar that lie right in you face. So I don't listen to a liar. Maybe she can Pray with Palin.

dumbocrat alert   March 26th, 2009 6:14 pm ET

this change that the Messiah has brought upon us is getting downright SCARY.

Franky   March 26th, 2009 6:14 pm ET

Is it really that serious?? Is it?? Good lord, the politicians have really lost it...

And my boy has to watch you guys??? Just imagine if Senator McCain and Gov Palin would have had that privilege...yeah, I know, how transparent it would have been...

You can't hang, all you people talk and got no game, you should be ashame you are learning the hard way...

Shooky   March 26th, 2009 6:13 pm ET

This is sloppy reporting. Geithner denounced the idea in a Financial Services Committee hearing, but what this story does not mention is a day later Geithner told the Council of Foreign Relations that he was open to the idea of a global currency. Bias by omission is still bias.

Robert, Houston, TX   March 26th, 2009 6:12 pm ET

well that's a stupid waste of time. let the free market decide whether a global currency should be adopted. you shouldn't need a freaking constitutional amendment to prohibit it.

Chris in Kissimmee, FL   March 26th, 2009 6:12 pm ET

For those of you who are familiar with the Holy Bible, thats how the anti-christ gets started. A one world currency. NO THANK YOU !!!

Lt_ahhsumm   March 26th, 2009 6:11 pm ET

Well, it's a good thing Rep. Bachmann wants to remind us she's still in Washington, doing....well, something. Too bad its nothing useful!

independent in CO   March 26th, 2009 6:11 pm ET

Why don't we just eliminate the federal reserve and get back to gold and silver backed currency?

tedious898   March 26th, 2009 6:11 pm ET

And I thought Palin had cornered the market on ignorant buffonery. I wonder if Baackman has learned any other new words aside from Socialist. She should leave terrorist to Palin.

Where did these goofy malcontents come from anyway? I would be where higher education is in limited supply.

Tom   March 26th, 2009 6:10 pm ET

Bachmann is irrelevant.

Maybe she should have listened to Obama's answer during the press conference. Major Garret from FoxNews asked if he would support any move off the US dollar as the world's currency.

Obama answered clearly and definitevely... "No, I do not".

Cynthia   March 26th, 2009 6:08 pm ET

This nut case is still walking around on the loose.

X Republican   March 26th, 2009 6:07 pm ET

If Bachmann thinks this is a bad idea, maybe Obama should reconsider.

ObamaNation   March 26th, 2009 6:06 pm ET

Thank God for Bachmann!
