The DNC's traveling billboard makes its first appearance Tuesday in West Palm Beach, FL.

(CNN) – The Democratic National Committee's anti-Rush Limbaugh billboard makes its debut in West Palm Beach, FL Tuesday morning, the town adjacent to the conservative talk show host's neighborhood of Palm Beach.

"Americans Didn't Vote for a Rush to Failure" was the winning slogan in a DNC contest last month that followed Limbaugh's statement that he hoped President Obama would fail.

Rush is now #1 12+ all over the country with ratings increases no other person or media has seen this decade.

The ratings mean more people are tuning in, people who didn't listen before. Since all Rush does is speak the truth about liberal Democrats, more and more Americans are learning the truth and facts and obviously ready to rebel against the party in power that is all about lies and distortions. Even if people doubt that Rush is telling the truth, they learn that he is by seeing that not one liberal in America today can debate any of Rush's facts and that the lib once again is reduced to all that they are capable of, idiotic foaming at the mouth, hateful, angry, biter, shallow personal attacks. It sure says a lot about the type of people who are lib, the worst human beings this nation has ever seen in regards to honesty, integrity, respect, decency, morals, values, and tolerance. I don't feel bad about hurting them, for a lib does not even understand the true meanings of those words, they only know how to contradict them but they do that blindly.

Democrats are just trying to distract the country from Obama and his god awful policies. Rush is just an entertainer. You clowns need to get over him.

The republican party is getting to be like The Dukes of Hazzard. Rush is Boss Hog, Sarah Palin is Daisey Duke, and Joe the plumber is a wingnut looking for a threaded bolt.

@ REEBA........... Listen, we DID hear Limbaugh's ORIGINAL WORDS... they have been recorded. He CLEARLY said "I hope he fails" BEFORE....... the GOP's propaganda machine....... changed them!

And after the vile and hideous campaign of McCain/Palin, you are complaining about this ad? At least it is the ......... truth!

As long as the GOP is controlled by haters such as Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, Ingraham, Bill-O-the-clown, and others, America will keep rejecting the politics of.......... hate, lies, fear and division!

For any American citizen to wish our president to fail is unpatriotic and clearly doesn't support our troops!!! If President Obama fails our nation fails. It's time to work together to move our great nation forward.

If that were true then you'd be listening to many many more "librels" on the radio. Funny how the voice of conservatism is somehow being restrained by liberals yet try to find even one liberal radio talk show in most cities in the U.S. Versus the dozens of these radical right extremists/hate mongers that seem to enjoy the freedom of speech you talk so much about.

This is idiotic. It shames me to be a Democrat when my party equivocates all dissent against extravagant spending with a soundbite uttered by some radio buffoon. Please address real the very real problem of ballooning an already out of control budgetary nightmare into a hellish burden upon taxpayers for decades to come. The middle and independents must take this nation back before these foolish battles between the far right and far left turn it into a wasteland.

This is weak. The G.O.P. is just going to come back and say that the Americans didn't vote for an enhanced trip toward national bankruptcy either, which is an opinion that Republicans share alongside several world leaders.

"This campaign is another example of the Democrats stooping to Republican tactics."

Lie, this is pure lib, you have not one example of anything from the right that compares to this.

  10. Shooky

    1. This is dumb, nobody votes for Rush.
    2. His statement was taken out of context, Democrats are just banking on people being too lazy to look into it.
    3. Is that truck fuel efficient? Doubt it. Think of all the pollution caused by the fossil fuels burning up to drive around a pointless billboard.
    4. This campaign has backfired as Rush's ratings rise
    5. A more accurate billboard would read "Americans voted for a FLUSH to failure" next to a picture of Obama.

Well now, it looks as if two things have come out of this. One is that Rush's ratings are climbing higher and higher thanks to the DNC. What was the dollar amount to do this favor for Rush? Our nations leaders are setting a wonderful example of financial responsibility. Way to go, DNC... The other thing that comes to mind is how childish the DNC has become.

Rush and the rest of the social/religious right-wing of this country are the "Redheaded Step Children" of the moral majority which was neither.

"Americans Didn't Vote for a Rush to Failure"

Sorry to say, but from all appearances that's exactly what they did vote for.

The only reason his numbers are going up is because people are tunning in to listen to find out for themselves just how big an ass he really is. Do not think that the new listeners are going GOP because of him. I used to watch him on tv just to get a laugh. Oh, just an idea. If all of you GOP ers out there really want change, just have Rush start selling his ties again. Maybe he could raise enough money so that he could run next time seeing as how he has ALL the answers. That is when he can remember the question. I have to admitt that the 6 pack, the plumber and Rush know how to make money by being idiots. Have to give credit where credit is due. Have to give credit also to those who actually find them interesting. Like I have always said,"can't fix stupid".

Come on People. Don't take this serious. Rush is an entertainer and is just being ridiculed by the Democrats. The Republicans did this to Obama, so why can't the Democrats ridicule Rush???

Rush couldn't buy this much advertising. I don't think he believes most of what he says. He is a shock jock. But the dems are sure giving him a lot of power. Be careful this could back fire

If you want to make someone or something irrelevant than stop talking about them. This is just free advertising for him, bad publicity is better than none.

The DNC paid money for this? Good use of funds.

It's not that Rush wants Obama to fail, it's that Obama can not possibly succeed by going in this direction of massive spending.

It disgust me that money is being spent on this crap.

If these folks have this much money for this kind of stuff I want to know where it's coming from. My guess would be from the taxpayers!

Use the money for better things such as helping mankind. Or, how about donating this money to an animal shelter, buying fans for the elder that can't afford them instead of making them suffer in these hot summers.

We as humans have really lost any kind of self respect for ourselves.

    SHAME ON YOU DNC!!!!!!!!!!!!
