(CNN) - The Democratic National Committee's anti-Rush Limbaugh billboard makes its debut in West Palm Beach, FL Tuesday morning, the town adjacent to the conservative talk show host's neighborhood of Palm Beach.
"Americans Didn't Vote for a Rush to Failure" was the winning slogan in a DNC contest last month that followed Limbaugh's statement that he hoped President Obama would fail.

The big ol' truck shouts:

No, but that is what they are getting. Obama and his leaders (Pelosi & Reid) are RUSHING stimulus bills, bail-outs and firing CEO's What's next?? – - socialism ! ! ! Socialism is NOT success.
Rush is a High School graduate with the gift of gab, and he uses it to stir other folks up who know no better!!!
What a waste of money! Is the DNC really that threatened by Rush? Tactics like this are very juvenile and like something Junior High kids would think up! And if we would be honest, the truck is advertising just what we are getting – a rush to pass bills that haven't even been read by the persons voting, closet meetings to push legislation through, and a rush to tackle every so-called 'problem' on the President's agenda. What happened to the 'we' in leadership? The mantra seems to be all 'I' and 'my' regarding the ideas and policies coming out of DC – what about the opinion of the people?? There seems to be a frantic and frenzied rush to do everything – with little regard for outcomes..... Is this really what we voted for??????
The billboard breaks a fundamental of public relations, i.e to never repeat an opponent's vile accusation in an attempt to redeem yourself. This ad will help grow Limbaugh's ratings. It also lowers the DNC to the levels of partisan fingerpointing that had been that far the trademark of the conservative right. For the DNC to have done this while they now have at their fingertips so many constructive communication opportunities sadly reveals a dark side that comes as a major disappointment.
I cant say that Limbaugh needs any more attention that he already gets. However I do like the billboard.
I hope Obama's policies fail too. Trillions in new spending. We can't afford the interest payments let alone the new programs.
Apparently, the Europeans want Obama's policies to fail too. Not a big story on ONN but Obama is hard pressed to find any support on his rock tour II.

This billboard will improve Rush's ratings if that is even possible at this point. Every time the angry left mentions his name and shows there hatred towards rush his ratings improve. You all may think he is an idiot but he is extremely talented, ridiculously wealthy, and probably a lot smarter than most of the people on this blog. This blog is great I love to read all of the anger and hatred that exists on the left side of the aisle.

Rush this: Limpballs is a coward and bully. He picks things apart with fanatical zeal, but doesn't suggest alternatives. We went down the road of Rush during the previous eight years of trampling on our Constitution without a murmur from this fat pill-popping idiot. Now it is time to work to correct the failings of the past. Will some doctor prescribe Rush Limpballs a Rx for his foot in mouth disease?
I actually think that Americans did vote for a rush to failure...isn't that what's been happening? While I have to say that Obama has a huge task on his hands...he isn't getting any help from his cabinet, or congress.
I agree with JohnB above. This cheapens the Dems response to Limbaugh. My reaction to the entire Rush situation, from his cult stature on radio to his Republican party ascendency is and always has been "Is this really the best they can do?" Vitriol, spleen venting and rants are what put shock jocks on the ratings boards and sell advertising, not what should represent a major political party. I am just as turned off by this approach as I am the mirror image of it from the too-far-left factions of cable news. I firmly believe that Rush will eventually hoist himself on his own pitard if just left to flail around in media land.
No one is ever wrong all the time, but no one is ever right all the time, either. Polarized views of our political system are what make it so constipated and bound up in itself.

I really hate how Rush Limbaugh has kind of become the face of the Republican Party. I consider myself to be more Republican than Democrat, and I cannot stand Limbaugh. He makes all conservatives look like complete and total fools.

I didn't vote for a catastrophic presidency but we have one anyway. Don't Rush's opponents know that advertising against him only raises his ratings? If not, don't tell them.
I rweally do not understand this campaign. I guess that the DNC could be trying to distract the electorate from the issues, but all the DNC appears to be doing is increasing Limbaugh’s ratings.
