(CNN) - The Democratic National Committee's anti-Rush Limbaugh billboard makes its debut in West Palm Beach, FL Tuesday morning, the town adjacent to the conservative talk show host's neighborhood of Palm Beach.
"Americans Didn't Vote for a Rush to Failure" was the winning slogan in a DNC contest last month that followed Limbaugh's statement that he hoped President Obama would fail.

Governor Palin was a failure, you lost, get over it. Rush has failed at everything in his life except for making millions off of the stupidity of others.

who cares what Rush thinks? this shouldn't matter, people should be thinking for themselves. i am deffinitly a democrat, but i have to agree, this is just fuel for the fire. if Rush sounds like an idiot to you, then his opinions shouldn't matter to you. i dont listen to him, i dont care about him, i listen to what sounds right. its the same with democratic broadcasts. i ignore, i make my own informed decision and and am not influenced by these big timers ideas.
Why would anyone wish success for anyone who would fundamentally change the nature of the greatest economic engine on earth, one that values liberty over so-called fairness? Of course the fabricators and purveyors of this nonsense about Rush Limbaugh are more expert at demonization than thinking.

No one wanted your beloved George Bush to fail, although I knew he would. President Obama isn't bankrupting the country. George Bush already did that. The policies being put in place is to make sure we don't have this mess happen again. Call them quick fixes if you want, but there is no alternative from the right except for more tax cuts for the wealthy. They put out a budget last week without a price tag on it. That's jsut ridiculous. How do you have a budget with out any figures? I suppose the republican budget makes the president's look like chump change.
I remember a bumper sticker from a few years ago that read "Rush is a big fat idiot". They should have used that slogan on the billboard. Direct, accurate, and to the point.

We shouldn't let Rush take all the credit, Steele's picture should be right next to Rush's. Steele's an idiot because he doesn't recognize the role he's suppose to play, he thinks he's one of the good old boys. The Republicans don't need another good old boy, they put Steele there to get minorities and instead Steele has shut minorities totally out.

I believe most republicans need someone to do their thinking for
them; Rush is a great example. The mess that Bushy left us is depressing for most of us to think about, but there are always those
that can't admit that we are in this downward spiral, because of the
lack of brains by the Bush crowd! I think only women with a very
low self esteem would look up to Palin, and Rush. I for one, won't
let the white trash/Rep's speak for me. Keep shooting yourselves

After all the hype and whatnot, THIS is the best the DNC can come up with? If ever there was a poster child for the ineffective wastefulness of Democrats, this is it. Boy, that thing will make Rush or anyone else think again before saying something negative about Obama!
I would wonder what the Republicans are doing to get ahead, but they don't need to worry. The Dems are doing such a good job at screwing everything up, a Republican sweep in 2010 shouldn't be that big of a problem at all. I look forward to the day when I can see Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, & Shumer selling pencils on the street corner. Joined by Obama in 2013.

What opportunity? we could set the table with the best cina, silverware and a crown roast for the GOP and they'd throw feces at it. There was no squandering on the Dems' part. The GOP never ever ever intended to capitulate in any fashion whatsoever.
First, Limbaugh's ratings spike was because folks were tuning in to find out what the commotion was all about – sort of looking at an accident as you're driving past. Second, the campaign against Limbaugh is a bit of a distraction only, although the Republicans did seem to all line up to kiss his ring.
Why do we continue to give this over-bloated wind-bag any attention at all?
