  1. No more loony left

@ the comment offered by "republicans hate America" that "criticizing the president at a time of war is treasonous":

According to your logic (or is that illogic?), thousands of left-wing loonies, as well as President Obama are traitors given their criticism of Bush.

Another example of why the rapid extreme left has no credibility but is dangerous.

Since they mentioned that Beau Biden was in attendance when President Obama visited Iraq, I'm surprised that Sarah Palin didn't complain about the media not mentioning her son.

"Give me a break… if he went to Afghanastan, they would have said he should have gone to Iraq. . . ."

Your are right Talmag; had he not gone they would have said something like "he was that close and did not bother to visit the troops in Iraq".

Anything to bash the Prez. Sad.

I demand an immediate investigation into why the crew of the US vessel that was overtook by Samali pirates did not immediately surrender (like the french and the democrats) and appologize for past US sins (like Obama), but instead caused these man-induced-disasters-in-waiting to jump overboard and risk their lives. Should these wronged-in-the-past freedom fighters become injured, I expect a full Geneva Convention, Spanish and UN investigation and heads will roll

First leg for Secy of State was China-wrong. European summit – wrong. Turkey- wrong. Iraq- wrong. Cuba visit- wrong. Biden was correct- Dead wrong on Arab summit. Democrats are only good in showing up on a baseball pitch. Hiring an actor like Kal Penn for PI's is good for Asians of his kind. Stay away from Pacific Islanders or we will piss all over him on the other side of the world. Courting the wrong people for the wrong reasons. North Korea sent a strong message that Obama should pay attention to. Kevin Rudd has reminded muslims in Australia that they have the RIGHT TO LEAVE if they did not like to live according to their laws, and christian beliefs and Iraq continues sucide killings. I think Pacific Islanders like Fiji should look to Iran and Venezuela for leadership in development. I wish them well.

Obama visits our troops, then in the next breath goes in front of Europe and calls Americans "arrogant." He obviously has a low opinion of the people that voted for him. It is not the president visiting our troops in Iraq that bothers me. What bothers me is his policy of getting troops out of Iraq will destroy that country, and negate all of the gains our troops have made there. Because of this fact, I find his show of support for our troops very phony. There is a reason most of our military won't vote for him.

Okay, there is no pleasing everyone. I think Iraq was the right place to go to try and boost troop morale. I mean the chaos now is mostly out of the headlines.

    REPUBLICAN MEMO FOR 2009:

"Due to the overwhelming support for Pres. Obama from the nation and world, we must be united as the 'opposing' party. To wit, whatever he espouses, wherever he moves, whomever he support and/or appoints, WE will take the 'opposing' viewpoint! We must steadfastly ignore the pundits and American citizens who will stridently point out the partisanship of this policy. Therefore, if Pres. Obama says the sky is blue we will maintain his shortsightedness and point out that the sky if grey. If he says it's grey, we will round up a group of Republican in Congress to call a press conference refuting it's grey and maintain it's blue. When he says 'Yes we can' we will point out that 'No, he can't'. Eventually, the people will see this president as wrong on any point in the universe!"

There will always be someone finding fault with this President. I'm thrilled he stopped in. I'm sure our troops were glad to see him.

Some people are never satisfied. Thankfully these are decisions President Obama gets to make without every Tom, Dick and Bobby telling him what to do. When Bobby Ghosh runs for (and wins) the Presidency, he can go where ever HE likes first...

By Ghosh, as a seasoned journalist, i thought you did your homework, evidently, you did not. When was the last time we had a President who is highly respected and loved both at home and, even more abroad? Rational reasoning indicates yesterday's doom will just be that, better days are ahead, on the horizon. President Obama is smart, intelligent and, pro-active. Even, despite the gloom economic conditions, Americans are not lost , with President Obama, America will rise again and, be enormously prosperous. Iraq's visit was a morale booster for our troops, Ghosh, did you see their beeming, teary-eyed faces? Did you hear them shout-it-out that they love him? He then replied them by saying, I love you more. Geez, don't be left behind, it is a new day in America, be productive, be a progessive. Abi Oshun, Los Angeles.

MAYBE THE REPUBS THINK THAT THE TROOPS IN IRAQ ARE NOT REAL AMERICAN TROOPS, BUT THE TROOPS IN AFGHANISTAN ARE THE REAL TROOPS! JUST LIKE THEY THINK THAT THEY ARE THE REAL AMERICANS, AND THE REST OF US ARE FAKE AMERICANS!

Who is Bobby Ghosh? If I am not mistaken we elected Barack Obama President, not Bobby Ghosh. So President Obama can make the decision he feel is right. If he had not gone to visit the troops in Iraq, Ghosh would be saying why didn't the President go visit the troops in Iraq, with him being so close. The media is a royal pain in the you know what. The President is planing a trip to Russia in July, maybe things can be work out for a visit with the troops in Afghanistan then, but we know safety issues has to be work out. I'm sure the troops in Iraq really appreciate the visit. After watching the former President having shoes toss at him, seeing how America were hated by other countries, I was fill with such pride as I watch President Obama and the First Lady represent our country during their recent trip overseas. So to heck with Bobby Gosh!!!!!!!!
