WASHINGTON (CNN) - Karl Rove fired the latest volley in the increasingly brutal war of words between Joe Biden and former Bush administration officials, calling the vice president a “serial exaggerator” and a “liar” over recent comments to CNN about former President Bush.
“He’s a serial exaggerator. If I was being unkind I’d say he’s a liar, but it is a habit he ought to drop,” Rove, who also called Biden a “blowhard,” told FOX News Thursday night.
On Tuesday, the vice president criticized his predecessor Dick Cheney's recent comments about some of the Obama administration's foreign policy decisions. He also told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and Gloria Borger that former President Bush had described himself as a leader during a private Oval Office meeting, and Biden had replied: “Mr. President, turn and around look behind you. No one is following.”
Rove said Thursday the incident was fiction, and that Biden and Bush had never been alone together. “You’ll notice every one of these incidents has the same structure,” he said. “Joe Biden courageously raises the impudent question, the president befuddledly answers, and Joe Biden drives home the dramatic response. I mean, it’s his imagination. It’s a made-up, fictional world. He oughta get back to it and get back to reality.”
“…You should not exaggerate and lie like this when you are the Vice President of the United States.”
CNN is awaiting a response from the vice president’s office.

Serial white-collar criminal comes to mind when I think of Karl Rove. I will be glad when enough years have passed that Mr. Rove, Mr. Cheney and several others from the former regime become irrelevant, forgotten and silent.

Choosing Joe Biden as his VP was one of the worst mistakes that Obama has made. Biden has become a national joke. I think he's a nice person but his inability to control his mouth shows a lack of impulse control and emotional immaturity. I wouldn't want him to be in charge of the country id something happened to Obama.
Let's compare Rove's allegation that Biden is in "a made up, fictional world" for discussing a 'conversation' with Bush with the "made up fictional world of "weapons of mass destruction" and the consequences this country has endured. The credibility of Rove is a parallel to Joseph Goebbels. Rove's only venue now is Fox News, a 'news' outlet that would make Goebbels proud.

Wow, now that's certainly a case of the pot calling the kettle black! Biden's been in politics long enough to have told a lie or two, but why is this an issue now? I guess once you get your rear ends kicked in an election and you don't have answers to America's problems, things like truth and fiscal responsibility become important again.
Is Karl Rove even relevant anymore? Who listens to what he even has to say. Yeah Biden tends to pop off once in a while,, what s the big deal. If any spent a lot of time lying it was Bush and his party during 8 years in teh white house.

So Rove is calling Biden a liar. And Rove is himself a huge liar. So logically, that means that Biden is in fact telling the truth.
Now if Rove said Biden was telling the truth, then Biden would actually be a liar.

While President Bush gas stated that he will not second guess the new administration, he has not come out and called Vice President Biden a liar. The only one making headlines attacking the Vice President is Rove a known liar and headline grabber, you decide.
There is nothing clever about the personal attacks that hallmarked the Bush campaigns. His "genius" was spreading fear and doubt, a tactic that continues with diminishing effect. Now, these tactics expose the pettiness and shallowness of the Republican Party. Lacking any viable ideas or solutions, they resort to distraction via attack. How impotent and ineffectual.
If that is the case, what does that make Rove?
Who cares what Rove says.
He should be in jail.
