UNITED NATIONS (CNN) – The U.N. Security Council Monday adopted a declaration condemning North Korea for launching a rocket earlier this month.

WOW! A UN Security Council condemnation is really going to scare Kim Jong Ill. Not! In this case, harsh words are a waste of time.
Obama ought to tell NK that if they ever do that again we are going to war. We do not mind talking to you or Iran about nukes but if you set another rocket over we are going to war. I am all for talking. In fact the only way to let them know that we will fight if they set off rockets is to tell them which in itself is talking.

I know it's humane to feed starving North Koreans but consider that allow s "the dear Leader" a great deal more funds to spend on armaments and other weapons of mass destruction to earn "blood"money selling them to rogue nations. So is it wiser to ignore the hardships imposed upon the those needy people when "the dear leader" thinks more of military strength than the "the dear leader" feels about his peoples. well being?

Ho hum. Another worthless statement from the UN. Good thing Obama's foreign policy is dependent upon that useless body. I guess when the ICBM technology is transferred to the Iranians, Obama will take it up to the UN once again.
No sanctions? No, "If you ever launch one of these again, we'll destroy the military base you launch it from?" How weak. This totally overshadows the success our military had in saving an American from pirates.
Wow! That took a long time didn't it? I hope Obama's administration can groom our relationship with the UN so that the UN actually does something useful instead of being a forum for the countries that hate America.
A strong declaration....hmmm....that will help. No new sanctions? The world needs to band together and cut off N.K., even blockade it if necessary. If we don't take action, NK will build a nuke and better missiles and will sell them to rogue states and terrorists. Now is the time to isolate NK even more. This may be the first big test of the Obama administration.
That oughta rattle NK's cage. The UN is worthless.

I wonder what would happen if they actually allowed Americans to vote on staying in the UN or keeping the UN in America. The result would be amusing I'm sure.
