Hooray for President Barack Obama, he is the Greatest President "EVER" this is a prediction from the prophets above!

MJM   April 23rd, 2009 5:03 pm ET

Another one!!! IS this going to cut into CSI?????

geraldine   April 23rd, 2009 5:02 pm ET

What's the point? So he can plant questions in the crowd, and snipe at anyone that asks a question he doesn't like?

Martin Schroeder   April 23rd, 2009 5:00 pm ET

Oh goodness! Is he just surprised he is still there - hasn't been impeached yet? I won't be listening to anything the big nuanced liar says.

Erin   April 23rd, 2009 4:32 pm ET

Why? What exactly does he have to say that is so important? Isn't every word he says all over the media? Isn't he out speaking somewhere every day? Can't we just enjoy some prime-time TV?

Scott AZ   April 23rd, 2009 4:31 pm ET

Of course he will. This man can't go a day without wanting to get on TV for one thing or another.

Former Democrat   April 23rd, 2009 4:21 pm ET

Anyone else feel like we are living in an alternative universe. Obama's foreign policy is turning into a joke: Photo-ops with Chavez to accept anti-american books, relaxed relations with Cuba with no pre-conditions, support for Iran's plans to have nuclear "energy" with no regard that their president has threatened to blow Isreal off the map.

Now water-boarding is awful as well and we are broadcasting our torture methods to the rest of the world. I guarantee our enemies are taking notes.

If John McCain would have just been waterboarded, his 5 years in a POW camp would have been a cake walk. Has common sense totally left America? Just wondering..

Renfield   April 23rd, 2009 4:20 pm ET

The more CNN glorifies and protects Obama, the more CNNs ratings sink. Think about it.

Larry Schluetr   April 23rd, 2009 4:11 pm ET

I will be looking to CNN if they report the 1st 100 day correctly . . . or do they still report like they are getting paid by the BO administration . . . the political payoffs are an amazing thing . . . . and the bias hurts the whole country.

TCM   April 23rd, 2009 4:09 pm ET

CNN – Good God....you've stated 2 out of 3 Americans approve of Obama? That's such a lie. You should have your FCC licensing revoked...you're nothing more than a Nazi-style propaganda machine.....

R Vezina   April 23rd, 2009 4:08 pm ET

This guy is getting to be a popularity glam queen. Prime time is when most Americans want to watch something entertaining to get our minds off the political mess going on right now. It seems like he has been president for about 11 years now. He's been on television more in his first 100 days than Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush were in their entire terms served. I love steak, but I don't want to eat it every day. The movie "The Godfather" is a great movie, but I don't want to watch it every day! Finally, if this administration was a baseball team, it would be a one-man roster. Obama pitching, catching, playing the outfield, infield, manager, umpire, bat boy, hot dog vendor, grounds crew, parking lot attendant, organist, official scorer, GM, scout, and every other position on the team. He either has no confidence in his team or he believes he is the best at every position. If he got rid of all the appointed chairpersons, directors and Czars, he could balance the budget in a day. He apparently doesn't think he needs them anyway.

virginia nielsen   April 23rd, 2009 4:05 pm ET

This guy is really amazing !!! He did more things in 100 days that Bush did in 8 years !!! God bless America and his fantastic President!!!

Georgio   April 23rd, 2009 4:04 pm ET

This is great..he will be able to defend his record rather than letting the networks to do for him. One thing which is great about this President he will be out there to asnwer both stupid and smart questions from all reporters. I don't want to name .. names when on the type of questions these reporters will be asking: here are sample of my prediction: Mr. President you said you will not prosecute CIA on torture and now you are leaving the door open for prosecution?,..which means you are "weak" leader!, Why did you smile when shaking chavez hands, why did you sit there while D. Ortega was talking about the US?.... Some in your party are rejecting your government spending..what are you going to do about it?, What are going to do about Taliban in Pakistan? and others. Yes, these are ligitimate questions even if the answers are obvious to the lay people like myself. I am glad he will be here to give complete answers that often confuse these reporters!. Thank God the country has a President like th one during these trying times.

K   April 23rd, 2009 4:02 pm ET

Why should that day be any different? Every time I turn my TV on that man's face is plastering all over it with him babbling on incessantly! The sound of his used car salesman voice resounds in my head even while asleep! Spew it Obama, the throngs of fans will hang on your every word and you know it!

PatriotSon   April 23rd, 2009 4:00 pm ET

Obama's 100th day mark should be a national day of mourning. The next generation is in an unsustainable tax and spend situation that they will never be able to reduce. I didn't say that the Office of Budget Management said it.

WIlly Brown   April 23rd, 2009 3:55 pm ET

This guy is just full of himself isn't he?

Nini   April 23rd, 2009 3:50 pm ET

Mr. President I don’t remember a time that this country was more divided.

Mr. President you are taking a path that could possibly shake the foundations of our democracy.

I am concern for my Country.

God bless America.

Mike in MN   April 23rd, 2009 3:49 pm ET

I have a question for the Obama press conference.
What in the heck are you going to do about the $9.3 trillion in deficits all your wonderfull spending will create?
OK, I already know the answer. The Republicans ran a deficit over the previous 8 years one third the size of mine, so no one should even be asking me this quesition. And I inherited a deficit for this year, poor me(he won't say he add more on top of it). And I eill cut it in half in 2013 (won't mention it is still bigger than any deficit in any of the Bush 8 years, and will pass over the fact that they start going up again in 2014). And it's not my fault(meaning he doesn't know how to bring the deficits under control or does not want to, but no one else is in a positon to do anything about them).

worriedmom   April 23rd, 2009 3:49 pm ET

why, why, why This man loves to be on television. i have never seen a president do so many prime time slots. oh well, will be watching a cable show. This is getting old.

President Obama could retire tomorow with the legacy that he has done more positive in his first 100 days than any other president in history! Hoorah Pres Obama!

RealityKing   April 23rd, 2009 3:42 pm ET

I smell another media coverup on the way...

Is there any possibility that Obama’s immense ego might agree to his news conferences being conducted during normal business hours? He is not my idea of “prime time programming”.

RanDe   April 23rd, 2009 3:25 pm ET

Of course there will be a primetime 100 day news conference, It will be a celebration. with trumpets white pillars read carpets and a gold plated podium. Barack Obama is a rock star, a superstar a political sensation, a modern-day Caesar. I would not be surprised that Barack Obama thought in his own mind. that he is a God....so you better watch.

SLM   April 23rd, 2009 3:24 pm ET

Hopefully he is done with his Bush Bashing and I inherited it speeches. His policies have made things worse and will continue to do so if he doesn't change them. He owns the economy. Recessions usually cycle through, but Obama needs to make changes to his policy or this will be a longer recession than necessary.

phili   April 23rd, 2009 3:20 pm ET

Well he has done more then his predecessor during his one-hundred day. I am happy with the things he is done thus far. But I would like to tackle health care and education as he promised.

munchmom   April 23rd, 2009 3:12 pm ET

Oh good grief, is it showtime again????

Dr. George Kerford   April 23rd, 2009 3:08 pm ET

President Obama has far surpassed the expectations that I had for his first hundred days. Though I did vote for him, I expected a bit slower start for his administration. They are bringing the "Change" he promised during the campaign and I applaud them.

Mississippi Mike   April 23rd, 2009 3:07 pm ET

Great, maybe he can explain his magical plan for paying off the huge debt he's created while simultaneously cutting our national debt in half and not raising taxes for 95% of Americans. He should also address why he doesn't see anything wrong with tax cheats in his cabinet and why the world's leaders have no respect for his abilities.

That's a press conference I would watch.

jeff   April 23rd, 2009 3:01 pm ET

I am personally getting sick and tired of seeing hiom on TV all the time

Markus   April 23rd, 2009 3:00 pm ET

This might be significant except for the fact that Obama appears weekly, dutifully reading off his teleprompter, to a national or international audience. I know that, like John Candy's character in the movie Splash, he's sticking with what works for him, but the real job at hand isn't perpetually communicating with the American people during prime time. It's addressing the real problems we face: national defense (can you count how many enemies we have?), the economic crisis, and the general business climate that needs to be restored. (No, prosecuting the former administration in a revenge-trial or glad handing dictators is not a real national priority... nor is interrupting the Simpsons.)

Lynn   April 23rd, 2009 2:59 pm ET

Great job, Mr President!! Always talk directly to us and stand up to your critics!! Now what is CNN going to do with their "report card"???

Right Leaning Independent   April 23rd, 2009 2:58 pm ET

Not again!!! Stop already....

Tulsa   April 23rd, 2009 2:56 pm ET

Can't wait. Keep us informed and keep up the good work Mr. President.

Obama Victim   April 23rd, 2009 2:56 pm ET
