WASHINGTON (CNN) - As the White House press corps gears up for President Obama's 100-day assessment, what kind of grade does the administration think reporters themselves deserve?
"I'd give them a strong A, Wolf," Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Friday. "You guys watch everyday. There are tough questions each and every day and they're looking at and trying to find the stories in this administration.
"I think the job they have to do everyday is to get up and go to work ask tough questions and cover for the American people the job that this administration is doing. I think they're obviously doing a tough job particularly well."

What would you expect Gibbs to say when the press fawns all over Obama and his presidency?. Tough questions ??, are you kidding.
I give him a strong C at best. WAAAYYY too aligned with the extreme lefties like Pelosi and Reid for my liking.
Plus, is there anyone out there who has not yet received a bailout????
Nice that we just gave the auto industry some more money. Maybe we should re-organize the auto industry, get the unions out of the industry – result would be a dramatic reduction in COS, thus generating more profit..
Oh well, who can argue – the unions after all gave Obama their never ending love along with the media.
I'm not sure the press should be that happy that the administration thinks the Washington press corp is doing a good job. It is unlikely that what the administration considers to be good press coverage is good journalism.
I would give the president a strong A especially for his effort. not only him but his administration also. they have really been on there p,s and q,s the past months.I thank GOD he is very humble and i pray he continue to stay that way.
Well, if Robert Gibbs says so, that's good enough for me. He's completely objective, and wouldn't lie or anything. Hahahah!!!
BS, Our press Corp is not asking the hard questions to our elected officials. It seems they are still on the Honeymoon mode. Come on you slackers get down to the nitty gritty and start asking the Hard Ball Questions you bunch of whimps !***********************************
I give the President and his team an A++;
The American People have their Government back and it is working like Our founfing Fathers designed it to. No matter what, the Senators of this country should never ever abdicate their public duty to no one President regardless to what party is in the White House.
