A new CNN poll of polls shows 64 percent job approval for President Obama..

WASHINGTON (CNN) - How does President Obama compare with his predecessors after nearly 100 days in office?

On his job rating, Obama comes out just a little better. But he really stands out on personal qualities.

CNN's recent poll of polls, taken April 14-21, shows an average of 64 percent job approval for Obama.

According to Gallup polling examining past presidents' job approval, that's similar to where the last six elected presidents stood after 100 days.

Only Ronald Reagan got a slightly higher rating (67 percent). Bill Clinton and the first President Bush were both below 60.

The average for the six recent presidents after 100 days: 61 percent approval. All were in the same general range - between 55 and 67 percent.

They were all elected after the late 1960s, when the great division in American politics emerged. Conservative versus liberal. Red versus blue. Each has taken office with a hard core of supporters and opponents.

I like the President pretty well but the headline is absurd. Is objectivity too much to ask?

Our country has only had three "superpresidents" in its history – Washington, Lincoln and Roosevelt. After Bush Jr., Obama may look like a "superpresident" but we are comparing him to his predecessor, which is not much to be compared to at all. I will venture to say he is proving to be very intelligent, analytical, pragmatic, and even somewhat visionary. In the end, I will be happy if he is just an OK President such as Reagan, Bush Sr., and Clinton.

Considering all the mega problems Obama inherited, he has worked very, very hard. You cannot see results in 100 days. Let us wait and see. I am glad it is Obama who is running the show.

I think Obama is and will continue to be a great President. And luckily for us, he's got a great work ethic, intelligence and the ability to focus on the tasks at hand. We really need a person like him leading our nation right now – and I am very grateful we elected him our President!

Taking in consideration the severity of the economic situation domestically and globally, having a rating of 64 is more likely a 70 or close. Which means President Obama top Reagan by at least 2 points.

President Obama is not really a super president. He is just such a monumental improvement over the last group of thugs. It makes him look like he should be wearing a cap and a big S on his chest.

Obama was not my first choice among the Democrats, but of course I would have preferred any of those Democrats to any of the Republicans. It was a pleasure to vote for him and against McCain/Palin.

However, I have been very pleasantly surprised by Obama's performance so far. He has shown considerable political courage, unlike any of his recent predecessors. He is trying to chip away on three decades of neglect of the national infrastructure, economic regulation, and foreign affairs. I am very impressed, and I hope the voters of the nation will give him a Congress that will work with him. None of the Conservatives are willing to tackle any difficult problems. Most of the Democrats are just guys will really good jobs. All they want is to grow old in office. We need some capable men and women who really want to make the world a better place.

He's not a "super-President". But he is smart, hard-working, thoughtful, patriotic, open and cares about out country, not just a select few powerful interests.

Super-President? No one should be expected to measure up to that label; he's doing a FINE job, and that is all we can hope for.

The media needs to take a deep breath regarding their gushing love-fest with Obama. This article is silly and useless - and by the analysis used would make Reagan the superpresident – which I'm sure would make the media cring and result in this article never existing. All the comparisons made were based on the various presidents after they were in office for awhile. If all these questions were asked of Reagan, or most presidents after 100 days – they would have scored very high. But what's the point ? It's a silly analysis. 100 day review is absurd.

Obama is the Incompetent, Corrupt and Arrogant President. He has succeeded in weakening our national defenses against terrorism by releasing memos detailing enhanced interrogation techniques, has shown weakness in capitulating regarding nuclear disarmament, has diminished respect for our country on his European Apology Tour and in cozying up to dictators in Latin America. He's also assembled a menagerie of tax cheats for his cabinet and will cause massive future deficits through his reckless spending.
Other than that, I think he's been awesome.

Yes, Obama is a special President and no one can see his true and real objective of Obama. In my view he is special because:

    1. He is oppose to torture interrogation of those who are directly/indirectly kill innocent people (more than 3000 people in twin tower NY).
    2. He bow to King Hussein of Arab Saudi (and not to Queen Elizabeth of England).
    3. By prosecuting people in the last administration by torturing to get information (to avoid another terrorist action of course this will proof to Alkaida people that they supported and more motivated to act another one)
    4. Alkaida not only will release from Guantanamo, they will file a law suit to get millions of dollar each terrorist because Obama give Alkaida the right to sue (?).
Means after they kill more than 3000 US innocent people Obama give a reward to them.
    5. In my view Obama achieved his objective to be a President and you will give him super A+ for 100% accomplishment in 100 days of Presidency.
