Really!? I see America when I look at the picture. You count how many people of color there are.

What I love about this photo... the diversity.
Never would there be this many people of color in the whitehouse if McCain and the Neo-Con's got in.

Above you see the REAL divide in America – the educated, vs. the ignorant.
Its exciting to me to see a President who can speak the language and establish credibility with other national leaders – and who, oh by the way, can enjoy himself and be human!
Keep it up, sir!

kevin what are you talking about? "a bit large for a lady" what country do you live in? shes thinner than the average american woman and im sure any doctor would say she perfectly proportionate and HEALTHY. who cares if shes tall, fat, thin or short; totally irrelevant. she is a lady because of the elegant but warm way she presents herself. though youre right that she looks beautiful in everything she wears.

He looks genuinely happy. And that, somehow, made me genuinely happy. It's inspiring.

Hey guys...being the President of the United States is a "job", just like the one we go to everyday. And guess what...we party, we eat, we sleep, we watch a little TV, we cook and play with the kids too.
So what's the problem with the President showing a little love to the First Lady?

For God"s sake! He has only been President for 3 and 1/3 months.
Give the man a break. He is not responsible for Americans losing their jobs and homes – he inherited those problems from "W" and cronies. America, stop listening to racist, bigoted, uninformed mouth-pieces paid millions by Fox News to spread hate and dissent in this country! America spoke, voted and elected Obama and told the haters in this country ENOUGH! He is, at least, trying to turn things around. I would rather see my taxes go toward bailing out companies and initiating new programs than millions flushed in the toilet bowl of Iraq, it's "freedom" and infrastructure. We have lost more than 4,000 American lives in this war – for what? Bring our troops home, spend those billions defending our borders and getting OUR PEOPLE
BACK TO WORK. Obama is hoping to do that. Stop listening to fat balls of hate and drug addled minds from the far right wing media.
God bless our people, our Country and our Government leaders and get us out of this mess we are in, thanks to 8 years of Bush and Cheney.

I'm glad that President and First Lady Obama are having a good time but I cannot help but think that this swanky affair looks like a terrible waste of taxpayer money at a time when we can least afford such excess.
Let's get the economy back on track and get people back to work and get food on the table... then we can go back to having extravagant dances and drinking expensive adult beverages from France... on the taxpayer dole.
I'm guessing this event cost a cool million... easy...

Wonder if my taxes paid for this event. Our country is in this so called recession and the goverment is spending money for events like this? President Robin Hood how could you explain this one?
