@ Curled up in a ball,

Just a reminder, Dick "Darth Vader" Cheney had 5-deferments that allowed him to bypass the Vietnam War. Based on your very own suggestion, not only does Cheney NOT relate, but he must be an enemy of the U.S. military.

Patricia you are truly scary. Wake up, turn on the light and take a deep breath, pop some happy pills and relax. You are going to explode from all the misinformation and hate.

I can't believe this picture is causing some Bush bashing. Oh my god people, will you get over Bush for crying out loud. Your man won. Be happy!

What I find hilarious are the morons who are so desperate for their Katrina moment that they clinging onto a photo that was dated months ago and attempting to link it with a flu epidemic. If you want the same event to take place you would have to have the government do nothing like Bush did while the catastrophe' spun out of control. Sorry, neocons, but you're just not gonna get flooded streets full of dead bodies while the president strums a guitar or his secretary of state goes shoe shopping in New York City with this administration in power. No one can drop the ball as bad Bush did.

Rickymo What is wrong with you? I see many people of white color in that photo! My God...we are done with GW BUSH and people still aren't happy.

People need to get in touch with their soul and think much more then they do. I feel so good as an American for the 1st time in 12 years! Remember the embarrassment of Monica?

Bush, after telling vulgar lies to start the Iraq War, where thousands of American lives were lost so far and tens of thousands of Americans have been permanently wounded, stayed on vacation for six weeks during hurricane Katrina. It is true that people are suffering during this, the Great Bush Depression, but most people don't think that means the current president shouldn't have a pleasant moment here and there.

Ah yes, they truly look like "real people"... real people attending a schwanky, invitation only, well-connected Black Tie affair at the White House... yep, just common people...

In response to "rickymo", I happen to be a person who leans toward the "right", but I also happen to admire and support the Obamas. I am also a person of color. While we all have freedom of expression, I would like to remind you that it is inflammatory speech such as yours that fuels resentment, and stands in the way of progress.

Do you folks even think about what you are writing? The picture was taken at the Inauguration Ball – he's not dancing while people are dying of swine flue. And the comment about President Bush on vacation before September 11? Do you honestly think he knew that attacks were coming that day or that month?

Illegal war in Iraq and Afghanistan? How illegal is it for us to be after the people that attacked us? Do you think the widows of the men jumping out of the World Trade Center, or the widows of the Policemen and Firemen think the wars are illegal?

Why not worry about paying the mortgage that YOU agreed to pay and maybe our economy will start to turn around. Take some responsibility for your own situation and stop looking for a handout or someone to blame.

Anyway, according to the Washington Post, as for August 2003 (with a year and a half remaining in his first term), the 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush, had been on vacation 250 days, approximately 27% of the time. That means every year he’s taken on average three months of vacation.

Prior to September 11, 2001, George W. Bush was on vacation for 96 days - Given that he’d taken office on January 20th of 2001, that means that as of September 11th, he’d been ‘on the job’ for 234 days. If 96 of those were vacation days, he was on vacation 41% of the time.

    Any questions...

    Mr. King,

I find it surprising that you always seem to slant things in an way that is disfavorable to President Obama. You allowed former V.P. Cheney to essentially get off unchallenged, and even asked Sen. McCain if he wants to say "I told you so." You have shown to be quite a partisan against the President in just about every broadcast. In fact, it appears that both you and Ed Henry have one goal in mind: to embarass the President every chance you get. As reporters, I never saw you or Ed so concerned about "the truth" when the Bush Administration was in power. In fact, you rubberstamped just about every decision made by that administration. But now that we have a new President, you seem to literally go out of your way to find ways to embarass the President or to give coverage that is obviously so slanted in one direction. You had Ms. Townsend on this morning, and allowed her to evaluate the response of the Obama Administration. Let's see, they actually were PROACTIVE, and came on a Sunday and gave a press briefing, yet, you allowed a PARTISAN HACK like Townsend to comment on a story of such importance. It shows how bad your judgment is. If you're going to have a Bush appointee to give so called neutral views on the Obama Administration's response, maybe you ought to have the opposing view as well. It was apparrent that Ms. Townsend wanted to make it as political as possible.

In short, I'm very disappointed at your obviously non-neutral coverage. You have allowed the radical right-wing of the GOP, which is essentially the party of NO, to get unscathed. You seldom question why they are so anti-Obama. They are out of ideas, and you know it. And please don't try to paint it as if 'ordinary Americans" are worried about the budget. That's an obvious point. But you didn't seem to care about the budget when the previous President was in office. In any event, wasn't it Cheney who once said (when working for Reagan) that deficits don't matter?

Finally, is it possible that all the hate coming at President Obama is because of the right-wing hate radio pimps? You may want to turn in to them, as you'll find out that apparently, Obama is a black muslim dictator, according to these hapless souls.

Loverly, glad they are having fun while the rest of us middle class are working ourselves to death to pay for all these handouts. So on the weekends they dance and during the week they give our money away. That cute couple, between them, has never had a real job and all he has ever done since his own graduation is give away money, never really earned a dollar. (Getting paid to give money away is not a real job) So keep dancing us to bankruptcy buddy – thanks for nothing.
