  1. so what?

Some of these republicans in this blog are sad, sorry, and miserable. Obama fought hard to get where he is now, he and wife rightfully deserve it. . . let the man enjoy. Oh yeah, the country is at war (oh really). . . .so? Have you stopped doing everything (repubs)? Life moves on. . .stop making pathetic comments! It only shows how sorry you are.

Man, the Republicans can't stand it! I love it! Yeah, 600,000 more people out of work because of the mess your monkey Bush caused. Obama's cleaning up the mess, and I and grateful and cheer every time I hear the phrase "PRESIDENT OBAMA."
    PRESIDENT OBAMA.
    PRESIDENT OBAMA.

It is wonderful that President Obama can spend a few enjoyable moments with his wife. This is a man who who works his butt off 24/7. The previous president probably worked 2/5, and the one before that was "busy with other activites" in the White House.

What a wonderful picture of love between soulmates, and camaraderie among many from different perspectives. Life without a balance of good and bad is non-existent.........Gotta love them......

    Curled up and others,

He goes to bed at night, he wakes up, takes a shower, brushes his teeth, eats meals, talks on the phone, smiles, hugs his wife and children. In other words, there is life to be lived, while good and bad events are taking place. It's insane to require my president to be less than a balanced individual. He's walking and chewing gum at the same time. God bless this beautifiul land of ours, and please keep it safe, IJN...

People, get a life. did you stop YOUR lives because we are at war? Did you STOP going to dinner with our spouse or going out to dance because our soldiers ar ein two wars? did you stop golfing or going to the movies? did you stop doing things with your kids because over 4000 of OUR children came home in a box? Our soldiers are fighting so that you INGRATES can do the very daily things the Obamas are doing. The level of stupidy here is only exceeded by the absolute smugness that is so pervasive on this comment page. You folks freally need to find something to do other than hate on the Obamas on such a continuous basis. How about going to your local vet office and make care packages for those soldiers you CLAIM to care so much about? Or How about going to your local VA hospital and sitting with an injured vet for a few hours? You people can't even back up your smugness with action. You are a big white noise, get over yourself.

  6. CHANGE we need

Sean Chong...shame on you. Regarless of what you think of GWB, when you say 'he didnt serve in the military', that is a slap in the face to the men and women of the Air National Guard/National Guard who are defending your nation, serving and fighting this very second.

To compare ANG/NG service to 'community organization' is simply ludicis. The ANG/NG members are making FAR less than THEY deserve. Don't think BHO the Community Organizer EVER put his life in danger for less pay than HE deserved.

Get over your arrogant self, take off the BHO love goggles and remember life BEGINS after the first 100 days....there are still 1362 days left in this administration. I hope your idiotic comments keep in check...BHO has to keep his eye on the ball and still going for a long 4 yrs, minus 100 days.

"Did Obama forget that while he's swing dancing, we have soldiers at war? I suppose he never served in the military so he can't relate, sorry"

Dear Mr Curled up in a ball,

How about George Bush that sent them to the stupid war? He was in sackcloth and ashes mourning since the war started till now?

President Obama is very lucky to have such a smart First Lady!
They both want to do a good job and work hard at it. They are also very lucky that First Lady's mama is helping out to take care of the two kids!
    Cheers,

  10. Who Cares

George and Laura Bush loved each other too....maybe if the Liberal Press had posted pictures like this of the Bush Family once in awhile, the rest of the country would realize that EVERY PRESIDENT is a human being and enjoys everything other people enjoy. Obama is no different in his family values or love for his wife than George Bush.

This is a non-story. Maybe if we ever had a single President in the White House a picture of him dancing with someone might be news worthy.

I find it funny that people keep mentioning that the Obama's are dancing while our troops are in battle. Do we forget who sent them there and what that administration did to your country during their "golden era/ERROR "?

Those who think that 8 years can be fixed in less than a 100 days are really. Did Bush and Cheney stop and eat C-rations? did they even stop and morn the loss of those servicemen they sent into battle for reasons that they created and spun to the public?

If you don't want Obama to act like a real human being you are SOL...that's who he is...time to realize that and maybe concentrate on how YOU can make a better America instead of criticizing someone who is.

    Just my two cents.

Curled up in a ball: Did Bush not dance after sending Americans to Iraq? He sent them there for the wrong reasons and continued to dance.

Obama hasn't got anything to worry about heck the country doing great and all is well under his watch...And we all know the American people can afford for them to live it up on the tax payers money...Obama hasn't been a President to the United States and he's shown it in the very things he's doing ...Why doesn't he work as hard on getting the American people back to work as he's doing on letting the guys that attacted this country free....That seems to be the only thing Obama is working really really hard on...I wish i had listen to my friends and not voted for Obama because they were right in all they said he would do ...God Please Forgive me.......And God Bless America...

    Ok,
While we have soldiers out, crime, people dying, or in any way an ailing society,
    No Dancing.
    No Singing.
    No Eating out at restaurants.
    No Barbecuing,
    No Movies,
    No Plays,
    No Walks in the park,
No Kissing your wife or kids,
In fact, the only acceptable way to occupy your free time is to cover your head in ashes, beat your breast, and contemplate killing yourself because life is just too depressing.
    Or,
We can hold dances/BBQ's/Walking events for soldiers/victims of crimes, and do something useful with the proceeds,
We can make movies and plays that teach as well as amuse,
We can save up some extra kisses for our Soldiers when they come back,
And give them something good to come back to.

How can a man in his position dance the night away and give elaborate parties when the tax payers are fighting for their homes, families. Shame on him.

Ah, "Who Cares", obviously you care had you not you would not have taken the time to view the picture and type such a long trite reply....get over it he won you and the rest of the whining redneck right will have to suffer for nearly four years and if you play your cards right you might get an additionaly 4 years of whining....lol.

This is a wonderful picture. For all the haters out there, this president works much harder and cares for the American people far more than Bush did, who only cared about the corporations. He destroyed our economy and got us into war carelessly. Thank God that most Americans see you what you are, a bunch of sore losers and idiots.

The more I see and hear of the President (and his wife) the more I like them. They work hard and enjoy themselves on their time off. And Patricia....you are an idiot.

I first would like to say that the picture is a work of art and I love it. I believe President Obama will lead the USA to new heights. The leader of this great nation must attend events with many different people in order to achieve the business of our great nation. Do not think for a minute that Bush or any other President has not done the same. What it is time for is the political sides to stop bickering and stand united with our president. Only in this way will America become what it was no better than it was. If you hold on to bitter resentment and the past as many people do you can never move forward to a better place. I am currently serving in Iraq and am proud to serve. It does not matter who my President is it matters only that I serve the people of the United States of America. Yes I did vote for President Obama and I will vote for him again during the next election. You can stand up and be heard this is a free country and that’s why people like myself sign up to defend all who live there. But to not forget ever that United We Stand and Divided We Fall. Simple words but they say it all. So stop the bitter comments and move on from the past. If not anyone who doesn’t like what is going on has a choice. You decide for yourself what that is.
Master Sergeant writing from Iraq- Proud to serve
America is the greatest nation on earth
