Really? This is news? Why were no such warm or human pictures of Bush ever published on CNN? Extreme bias, perhaps?

Really? I vividly recall a picture of Bush attending a happly little birthday celebration when hurricane Katrina was slamming the gulf coast. Or, how about the cute little picture of him reading a story to kids as our country was being attacked? Or there was the photo of him "searching" for WMD's under his couch, which was particularly charming. I can only imagine the sh**storm that would have ensued if Obama done that.

We finally after 8 years in the white house a family to look up to rather than an arrogant (you know what). To bad the past whatever he was won't come out of his closet so he could be questioned. He lets his number 2 man a very bitter old man do his talking for him. Impeach the past crew then take them out and hang them like they did years ago Jim Hall Kansas City Missouri.

On the cover of every fricking magazine rag that is on the stands! Gawd! Make it stop! For the love of God, who the frick cares after having this shoved down our throats for almost two years! He'd be nuthin' without the liberal press propping this buffoon up!

Hey Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, or other Gop'er:

Is Mr. Obama holding his wife too close or not enough?
Is he smiling at her to intently?
Should his skin ( his thumb) be touching her skin?

Now do you GOP defenders see how ridiculous all of you looked when talking about a handshake and a smile a few weeks ago?

im glad that after reading all these repetitive comments i was able to laugh because of johns (cheese puffs will kill you by the way). i support bho and his family. they are doing nothing wrong/out of the ordinary of any other first family here. with that said... come on people, click and then move on. if you dont like what cnn's reporting, or their slanted articles, read something else. there are plenty of other credible news venues to choose from. if you you republicans dont like it switch to fox. or try something that requires a bit more brain power like the economist. the real news isnt going to magically appear in front of your face, just the pictures do.

Obama brought about hatred and "no respect" to him, himself. His election was financed by the zionist elite with their own vested interest of top priority – bailout wall street, solomon bros., merril lynch, citibank, bear and stearns, aig, amex and so on; sweep under the carpet potential losses in the financial slump by people close to Obama's administration. Where's the end to the war? We are spending more money and risking more lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. The difference with Bush? – Obama's media owned by the same zionist elite who funded him to be "I AM PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", protects him. Next time, Boston Tea Party protesters, demand that the FEDs open Fort Knox to evidence that our gold bouillons are still there. They already stole our money.

Class and intellect back in the White House....how refreshing.

I have the feeling President Obama won't take as much vacation time in his FIRST four years George W. Bush took in his first year.

The Obama haters will whine about and criticize anything he and Michelle Obama do...so the Obamas are right to ignore these haters and just be themselves. The vast majority of the country likes the Obamas and wishes them well. That's what drives the haters crazy...their hateful comments never get any traction, so they just say things that get more and more outrageous. In the end, for most of the Obama haters, it is about race...even though the haters try to pretend that it isn't.

George W. Bush and the Republicans forgot how to connect with the American people a long time ago...if they ever knew how to in the first place. There were too busy rubbing shoulders with the moneyed elite and letting a small pittance of the vast bounty of the United States "trickle down" to the people. That's how the Republicans think that things should be. Fortunately, the majority of the American people do not.

While our President dances, we're being invaded by illegal aliens (Mexicans, etc.), disease (swine flue from Mexico no less), our sons & daughters who have died in Iraq for their freedom watch from above as this administration let's those gains fade away as the killings resume, and we have women on the morning news shows preaching how no matter what we lose in life or freedom, we cannot torture anyone to prevent it. Dance, dance, dance to the music but eventually you have to pay the piper!

beautiful photo. nice to know there's a family like that in the White House who can take a break and enjoy each as they so obviously are here despite all the problems to be dealt with. I love Michelle and Barack Obama.

i expect to see pictures like this just as i expect to see pictures of our troops playing basketball in their free time. i expect to see pictures of obama and his kids playing, just as i expect to see an out of work father reading to his kids at bedtime. crises do not negate the fact that people can still enjoy moments of normalcy even while there are difficult experiences being endured by them and others. this is what it means to be human.

i would expect that only a robot could work 24 hours a day without sleeping, eating, watching a movie once in a while or enjoying a dance. i for one am glad to know we have a human being for a president. he and our troops work hard to ensure that all americans can enjoy life, because he and our troops know what it means to enjoy life.

    god bless america!!!

Vaccine not invented? How idiotic. Does Obama do vaccine research and development? NO. Was Swine Flu rampant in February when they were dancing? NO.

Why do you eat when I'm not hungry? Same idiotic logic as yours.
