Specter to appear with Obama, Biden

Specter will head to the White House Tuesday morning.

(CNN) - Newly minted Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter will meet with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden at the White House Wednesday Morning.

The three will address the media in the Diplomatic Room at 8 a.m. ET, the White House announced.

    Good idea. This will help show Pennsylvania voters what a self-serving, unprincipled opportunist Specter is.

    Two party system: Liberal democrats on one side of the aisle, conservative dems on the other. That's a two party system with bipartisanship.

    Biden should get a lot of credit for getting Spector to join up with the democrats.

    Obama must be thrilled to have 60 votes in the senate. Now the democrats should be trying to pile on and get to 63-65 in 2010 and give themselves a working margin to turn the republicans into a regional party that can't dictate things on the federal level.

    Welcome Senator Spector. I hope you will help the Dems get a good health plan through.Affordable healthcare is what all us Americans need. And I'm hoping some REPUBS will sign on as to getting real affordable healthcare also.....WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER AS AMERICANS!!!!!
