(CNN) - A new national poll suggests that Americans think the performance of the Democratic leaders in Congress deserves a grade of C.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, released Wednesday as the Obama administration marks 100 days in office, asked respondents to use a grading scale of A, B, C, D and F, where A is excellent and F is very poor.

Eleven percent of those questioned gave the Democratic Congressional leadership an A, 29 percent a B, 25 percent a C, 15 percent a D and 20 percent a F. The grade averaged out to a C.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted April 23-26, with 2,019 adult Americans questioned by telephone. The survey's sampling error is plus or minus two percentage points.

I personally don"t see anything has changed since Obama took office. It seems like all the Democrats are after is money, money, money. And as for bipartainship for both parties, I have seen none. It.s all a one-sided affair. And as for President Obama's first 100 days in office, I can see no change. He may be trying to uphold all his campaign promises, but for my own opinion of the President, I can"t see anything he's promised the people of the United States except keep raising taxes and keep making broken promises to us. I do hope people will open their eyes and see how bad things really are. And they will probably be worse the next 100 days. The USA will be broke.

Congress needs to stop bickering and get to work. Honestly, two days talking about what a brave or cowardly man Arlen Specter is? It isn't like he's going to vote through the Democratic agenda.
President Obama is dealing with about a dozen major things at once...how many of you can do that? Give the man some space and time. So far, I am pleased with his decisions, although he needs to find a way to prosecute the terrorists in the previous administration.
And gosh, I don't think we're becoming less democratic, although that disappoints the right, who really want to use all those guns they've been stockpiling. Thanks so much, Glenn Beck, for your fear-mongering and your hate that has increased gun violence in this country. And thanks for talking to the lowest common denominator of people, those who think you actually speak the truth, when you are nothing more than a commentator like Rush. You are not a journalist, nor a lawyer.

Thanks to the Almighty God for President Obama. Without him, we would have been in a depression already.
Thanks for his stimulus package that will bring a halt to the recession and bring back prosperity.
Where has all the past leaders been? How can any American be without health care. God has blessed America with such prosperity and we have citizens within the country without access to healthcare. Thanks to Ted Kennedy and his support for Barack and healthcare for all americans.

It so great that we are all talking about peace with the whole world. President Barack. Obama.

Look what President Barack iObama is doing to keep GM alive and all the jobs that will be saved. He is already a great President.

He is the most transparent President I have ever seen.

Kodoo to Allen Specter for his vision to help this great country by joing President Barack Obama and the Democratic party.

America will be prsoperous again before President Obama leave the white house.

Look how he handle the housing crisis and the banks. Great. Great.
God bless President Obama.

Maripil,
Demorcrates have controled the house for 2 years where your misah sat and voted for 2 years. Although mostly "present" but all the same he and the Dems controlled the place. And the spitting Barney Franks when the Repubs was saying and trying to get an investigation on the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending practices and they said the REPUB were sending them on a witch hunt. In 2006 Franks got up and told us all that all was fine and the lending practices were ethical. So why arent they investigating the ties of the old CEO of Fannie Mae and Barney Franks? No investigation, just a move into the administration as over TARP. GE owns CNN and NBC and see how much money the Obama's are giving them. We need a new watergate investigation into all this.

Briman   April 29th, 2009 10:48 pm ET

its funny to read some of the comments here. Its as if everything wrong in America started the day Obama was elected. What is forgotten is Obama was not in charge until January 20 th. No mention of who what or how caused the things that the current admin and politicians are responding to.

What would you have done if G.W. was able to run for another term vote blindly for him as was done twice before?

F for dems there making us bankrupt. The stimulus could have given everyone 10 grand a piece but we need the other pork like highspeed trains that are going broke where they opened. Now there trying to pass the "Fairness act" which would make it so we cant rip in to the democrats on radio talk shows. Bye bye free speach. hello socialism."

Do you even know what the fairness doctrine is? You can say anything you want about people you disagree with. The stations would just have to present both sides of an issue, so that people don't spend all day listening to propaganda from only one group.

And gee, at least the stimulus went to the people, unlike the October bank bill McCain couldn't wait to sign off on, which had no accountability, and was not a loan. The TARP money is loans, and will be repaid. The stimulus is for projects to put people to work.
And didn't you get the Rush memo? This week's derogatory term is "liberal agenda." Socialism is so last week.
