The SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement) was signed by Iraq and the United States in 2008. The Iraqi end state was established... CNN should be aware of that... The deal was done prior to Obama taking office... so it's incorrect to say Obama did it.

He's kept all so far in this extremely short period of time and done more than he's promised. My best is the Lillie Ledbetter equal pay act. BRavo President Obama.

Once Obama and the ultra-liberals of this country have finally thwarted any real opposition – look out South Africa, here we come down to your level.

"Obama" is Swahili for "broken promise".
But publicly calling attention to Obama's broken promises is blasphemy. Doing so insures cult followers will:
– accuse you of a hate-crime
– buy a billboard to mock you
– Rep John Lewis will call you a racist
– Hillary will say how "deeply disturbed" she is
– Code-Pink will declare war

Mari( maybe one of my comments will be posted)
I believe the only promise he has "broken" was not withdrawing the Troops faster and earlier from Iraq.
My husband, family and friends were talking about the big deal the Media makes of "political promises"! Which is silly because any ... thinking person...... knows that our government has three independent branches, executive, legislative and judiciary. The president can ONLY make his (or her) agenda known, try and 'sell it' to Congress....... Congress makes and passes the laws.
Some people will comment that "he has broken promises" that will be the "so-called-Democrats" blogging who are really GOP-plants. I believe that the majority of Obama supporters understand that "campaign promises" do not always become reality.
President Obama, you are doing the best you can considering the Bush Disaster you inherited!

How on earth can you measure in 100 days, promises kept or not? Uh, why wasn't this done with Bush? since he was a 2 two term President? It's time to grade Bush 2? he's no longer President? hello?

RNC = DNC = politics as usual
just thought I would pull out the 6 biggest broken promises for those still looking at Obama through rose colored glasses:
No. 24: End income tax for seniors making less than $50,000
No. 234: Allow five days of public comment before signing bills
No. 240: Tougher rules against revolving door for lobbyists and former officials
No. 505: Create a $3,000 tax credit for companies that add jobs
No. 508: Allow penalty-free hardship withdrawals from retirement accounts in 2008 and 2009
No. 511: Recognize the Armenian genocide
Question Authority

So far I'll give him an A minus. All in all I think he's doing a very good job and if the Republicans keep self destructing he'll probably do even better going forward!!

I endured so much hatred of President Bush his last few years in office by those who continued to claim Bush "lied". It seemed to be a "strict liability" criticism allowing for no mitigating circumstances, compromises, etc. Obama has already lied numerous times (see, e.g., Politifact.com) before and after his election. Where is the chorus by legions of Bush critics leveling the same criticism at Obama? They otherwise stand revealed as hypocrites and their criticisms rendered inert. Also, since Obama promised to end the Iraq war his first day in office, he has not done so and soldiers continue to die, why is he not subject to another Bush criticism: "Obama lied and people died?" I expected logic, consistency and critical thinking to apply to politics. My bad . . .
