people are asking what they are hiding? Chillax dudes.

Money spent? It was going to be spent anyone on practice time, flying somewhere else, no new money was spent to take the pictures.

President Obama does NOT have to release everything to the American people. He reserves the right to release what he wants. He's not a child that must listen to what you all demand all the time. You people who whine and complain need to find more legitimate things to complain about like how your Republican leaders have ZERO credible solutions to America's problems. ZERO! Give me a break! Get over it! Let's move on to what's important like the job cuts declining today.

140 million taxpayers in the US.

Each of us contributed about 23/100th of a penny to this.

I'm not gonna get that worked up about it.

By comparison the Iraq War has cost about $854,000,000,000 so far. That comes out to $6,100 per taxpayer. How many people freaking out over this PR mishap with Air Force 1 are as concerned about the cost of the Iraq war?

And to compare this to the torture memos, well, given that the Bush administration used fradulent results gained from torture to justify getting into the Iraq War, the cost of those memos is at least a significant chunk of that $854,000,000,000 (to date).

So am I dumb enough to get mad about somebody accidentally shortchanging me a penny when somebody else robs me for $6,000? If you are that dumb, that's on your own head.

OMG! Obama classifies photos taken of planes flying in public airspace viewed by millions because they embarrassed him, yet he declssifies Top Secret interrogation information. This man is a national disgrace.

The openess of this administration is awe inspiring. Thank goodness for the change we can all believe in. What's next are they going to classify Michelle's $500 sneakers that she wears to feed the homeless?

I know, I know, none of this is important. Nothing that Obama does incorrectly is important. I keep remembering all the slack that was cut to President Bush.

Full disclosure and transparency of obama's opponets or when it is advantageous to him, but not when it is a disadvantage.

Do as I say, not as I do.

    Great philosophy huh dimocrats?!?

Americans. What a bunch of wusses. To hear the lot of you gripe about a bunch of pictures not being released to the public is laughable. No wonder the rest of the world think your all a bunch of crybabies. Grow up for the love of God. Making a mountain out of a mole hill is Americans past time these days. OOOh, theres a plane flying low over Mahatten,, scary stuff. Hahahahaha. To even say this is a hidden agenda by the Obama adminstration is a joke. When are Americans ever going to get a life

After 8 years of the Bush admin. hiding all his attacks on the constitution, I guess we could give Obama this one.

He promised to be transparent: this is NOT transparent. President Obama works FOR the American people, and he's not fulfilling his campaign promises. I hope he loses in 2012.

Every lib in America would be demanding that Bush resign the presidency if he had done something similar to this.

That's all you need to know about libs, they don't care about their country, fairness, or honesty. They really only stand for hate, lies, partisanship and selfishness.

Rahn and Obama are up to something, this was no photo op, they have something planned and we will soon find out. Don't expect the lib to care one bit, Obama could take out the libs family and somehow they would look the other way and say well Bush.... (think about the kids raised during this time in a lib family, they are going to be the worst generation this nation has ever seen).

Someone commented that there is a double standard for democrats. While I doubt that, it sure beats 'no standards' from Bush and the gop.

Fox News would just tear apart the photos for 3+ weeks anyway and somehow blame the incident on Obama, even though he made it known he was furious over the incident.

  18. Only 21% of Americans trust republicans to lead them into the 21st century!

Do you ditto heads complaining of "wasted" money and "conspiracy" do you even read the posts before you hit the submit button? Or do you just see President Obama's name and start typing.

The photo was ordered to be taken by the Pentagon, NOT President Obama and "wasted" 365K is only wasted because New York threw such a temper tantrum.

Otw, the photo would have been used. Geeze.

As a professional photographer, I have seen this a lot. The most likely scenario: someone forgot to put the memory card in the camera!

The Obama White House apologized for the plane SNAFU.

The Bush White House never apologized for anything. Anything.

Not sure how much should be made of it, but if it was harmless why should it be classified? What could possible come of seeing pictures of the plane over new york?. I think Obama has been doing okay so far, and I voted for Hillary in the primaries, but I dont like this one bit its silly to classify them.

It's not Obama's fault - he inherited the plane, the Pentagon and the F-16s.
