(CNN) - CNN contributor and Democratic strategist James Carville explains why he thinks the Democrats will hold power for the next 50 years.

Filed under: Democratic Party • Republican Party

sean   May 10th, 2009 10:13 am ET

I think it would be good if the dems run the country til 2049 because after g.w.bush the gop is washed up! and it will take them that long to rebuild!!

Carter   May 10th, 2009 9:22 am ET

Yea right. He cant predict what he is having for dinner tomorrow

Nancy Marie   May 9th, 2009 9:15 pm ET

Thank God, a party with real values that cares about people

60's survivor   May 9th, 2009 9:13 pm ET

even if this is so-it won't be the same democratic party it will perhaps be very close to center with the ability to be not only inclusive but more importantly responsive to the needs of the people – those who work and pay taxes and if they are lucky own a home!

Ray   May 9th, 2009 6:58 pm ET

what an idiot! get jimmy I would be willing to bet my life your wrong I would bet anything these freaks are already over reaching and the independents, who happen to decide elections won't put up with you liberal idiots. jimmy boy I got one word for YOU....... CALIFORNIA!!!!

kaz   May 9th, 2009 6:39 pm ET

We need republicans as strong opposition, but not like Sara Palin, Rush and Rudy Juliani.

Dan   May 9th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

Democrats will hold power until 2016. With Obama gone, Blacks & Hispanics will be siphoned off because of the gay marriage issue. Most blue dogs will go to the Republican party & there will be more liberal republicans in the Northeast. It is impossible for the Democrats to hold power for 50 years.

dennis   May 9th, 2009 6:32 pm ET

If this is the case boy are our grandchildren and there grandchildren going to hate this country because there will be so much debt......

Independent that is Starting to see Obama for who he is   May 9th, 2009 6:29 pm ET

Thats hilarious, this is the first time they have been in power in the last 25 yrs and now they will have it for the next 50 yrs? Democrats are arrogant and non-patriotic. All the republicans have to do is sit back and let the dems self-destruct. They always do.

lucyna   May 9th, 2009 6:24 pm ET

I hope so. After Obama running two terms, I hope Hillary will come to the oval office for another two.

Farrell, Houston, Tx   May 9th, 2009 6:23 pm ET

That's right Mr. Carville, keep the Repugs up late at night worrying about their jobs instead of what's best for the country. And don't forget to ruffle their leader, Rush Limbutt's, feathers while you're at it if he doesn't stroke out first.

JIM   May 9th, 2009 6:23 pm ET

The GOP needs to embrace social issues facing the country and stop trying to dismiss it. Protecting the country is what all Americans want but you can't do that without dealing with the issues facing the country internally. Wakeup GOP and stop letting the base of your party control your agenda. Its a new generation so wakeup or be left behind.

susie   May 9th, 2009 6:22 pm ET

As long as Dems have ACORN, they will have power.

Josh   May 9th, 2009 6:21 pm ET

I don't understand this. The people that are young and voted for the democrats are going to be mad when they have to start paying for all the stuff that Obama and the rest of the Democrats have passed.

Anyways, politics runs in cycles. People will get fed up with one party and will go back to the other.

Keith in Austin   May 9th, 2009 6:17 pm ET

Yeah right. My bet is that the GOP will make a huge impact in 2010 and regain the WH in 2012. I love hearing all you arrogant Libbies trash conservative values because you'll wish you had them when you wake up and realize the price tag Barry, Nancy and Harry leaving us all to pay.

Ted   May 9th, 2009 6:12 pm ET

Carville is nuts.
He needs meds. Even though we're in the same party, I feel like he's on a different planet.

ROBENS   May 9th, 2009 6:11 pm ET

That would be the best thing that ever happen!

Steve in Las Vegas,NV   May 9th, 2009 6:09 pm ET

The Dems had better what happened in 1994, after the assault weapons ban. After the next election it went to the Repubs! Or have they forgotten? None of the constitution and ALL the amendments are never to be tampered with by ANYONE, for any reason. These are sacred words

Now they think they can try this again, but now, the voters are watching carefully. Any attempt to revise the 2nd amendment or any other amendments will give the Repubs a much better chance to regain some more power.

This is in addition of all the problems with the economy, the banks...You name it

ib   May 9th, 2009 6:03 pm ET

If the democrats stay in power they will never rule to 2049 because this country will be long gone before then if they managed to stay in power.

Refiblicans always present this BS "smoke screen" argument about spending when it comes to a budget that invests in America's future. Their (GOP) empty argument is not valid because every Government (Democratic or Refiblican) spends on a budget. When rich Coporate folks refuse to pay taxes behind dishonest or unethical loopoles......that is spending.....from America's collective budget by the absence of what shoud have been contributed to America's tax base. How else can we describe the corrupt sales of fraudelent CDO sub prime mortgage accounts by Wall Street? It's purely a matter of whether the spending will yield returns for ALL America....or the select rich few. The Refiblican ideology (which they'll never publicly admit) is to bankrupt the American Government and middle class, so as to implement their complete privitization of our country to institute a "serf" system for rich and poor with no in between........to control ALL wealth and properity for themselves.

M   May 9th, 2009 5:45 pm ET

Yeah, the USSR lasted for around 50 years or so too, didn't it? HMM.

Note the term, "rule." That is exactly what the Democrats (I call them Kingmen) intend to do: RULE. As in Mad King George.

"Those that do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
This is what we get for considering the struggles of the Founding Fathers "outdated." They are NOT outdated. We are merely reliving them.

Welcome to a life under tyranny, America. So much for the land of the free–and with all the Democrats running around like cockroaches, it's certainly not the home of the brave. It's the home of the "entitled", the apathetic, the deliberately obtuse, the illiterate, and the fascist.

Remember: the government can only go so far before We the People refuse to tolerate any more and each and every part of the Union declares state's rights (10th Amendment). This is the honeymoon phase, but sooner or later, America is going to realize that they got drunk and married in the metaphorical Vegas–and eventually, they are going to wake up and realize that they are in bed with a monster.

Sniff these...Sniffit   May 9th, 2009 5:44 pm ET

I guess all you far left loons on this site really believe this. The dems are highly unlikely to maintain a majority through the next 2 election cycles.

As in the past, the far left's control over the dim party will cause a backlash and they will be swept from office.

All you "yutes" on this site should stop watching you tube for a little while and pick up a history book.

Chloe in Chatsworth, CA   May 9th, 2009 5:38 pm ET

Isn't this the same thing Karl Rove said about the Republicans? Oh, sorry, Rove predicted a thousand-year Reich.

Laura, WA   May 9th, 2009 5:38 pm ET

First of all, someone get CNN's headline writer a calculator. If Democrats "rule" for the next 50 years, they'll be in power until 2059, not 2049.

Second, as a Democrat, it sounds good to me, but I think Carville is being typically overconfident. Even if the GOP completely implodes (which is possible) another party will rise to take its place.

Al, CA   May 9th, 2009 5:37 pm ET

Remaining non-extremists of GOP should get out and make a new, reasonable party. Conservative democrats would join them. Myself being on the left, liberal and progressive edge of democrats, I still think that we need a viable non-crazy opposition.

lane   May 9th, 2009 5:37 pm ET

That might be to long, but I give tha dems atleast 20yrs!

james   May 9th, 2009 5:35 pm ET

40 years?
How old is Mr. Carville?

Rose   May 9th, 2009 5:33 pm ET

Oh wake up Carville, with people like Pelosi the liar, Reid the village idiot, Dodd the crook and Specter the traitor not to mention all of those on the cabinet who are tax evaders, I would say the Dems will have to be careful when they are up for re election. This is just a pipe dream for you.

J.C.   May 9th, 2009 5:29 pm ET

Although I like President Obama, I wouldn't want Democrats in power for 50 years or 12 years for that matter. Power corrupts people and I haven't seen a saint politician just yet. Mr. Carville is just being his old self. If Democrats truly agree with him, GOP or Independents or Libertarians will return to power in no time.

The Truth   May 9th, 2009 5:26 pm ET

Anyone remember from the campaign how we were going to make ourselves forgien oil free as soon as Obama got elected, McCains ten year plan was insane according to the Dems, we need it now? How is all that working out for us ? No drilling going on, no nuculer plants being built, no wind farms. On the contrary, we stopped all off shore drilling and all drilling in the western states, and now cap and trade is coming ? What short angry memories the Dems have.

The Truth   May 9th, 2009 5:21 pm ET

By the Dems own fear mongering : global warming will have destroyed the earth by then .

In God We Trust   May 9th, 2009 5:16 pm ET

If the world is still around.

KTX   May 9th, 2009 5:14 pm ET

Nope. . .Democrats will be in power as long as the hot potato doesn't fall in their lap. In other words, the next time a recession cycle falls during a Democratic administration, the tide will turn again. They have a tremendous amount of culpability for the current economic trauma through the populist silliness of fake home ownership. If Kerry had been elected in 2004, there would be a Republican president and Congress right now.

GOPlummeting   May 9th, 2009 5:12 pm ET

Did that anchor just describe Obama as a "Transific character?"

Kimberly   May 9th, 2009 5:12 pm ET

to haha~Um, the book is called 40 MORE YEARS, so YOU just got the 50 from I dont know??? SO add it again, its like this 2009+40=2049..The republican party has ZERO hope of getting back into control anytime soon. They have gone WAY far right and this country has NO use for that sort of person, and since at this time only 20% of the country is republican, I would say they are ONLY going to have the south to save them, only in the south are people stupid enough to keep voting in hate mongers and liars...THANK GOD they are in the south...

Larry from RI   May 9th, 2009 5:11 pm ET

OK James, but do we really have to listen to the wailing and gnashing of GOP teeth for that entire time?
I mean the way these right wing-nuts whine and snivel at only 3 months of us having to clean up their messes you'd think they were being water boarded!

FAYE, NV   May 9th, 2009 5:09 pm ET

Ted   May 9th, 2009 5:07 pm ET

Excellent.

xlntcat   May 9th, 2009 5:05 pm ET

Not if they don't recognize that (1) Obama has the mandate not the Democratic Party , (2) when the election is over the party should be over also, it is time to go to work, and (3) the public is awake and watching. We have been scammed long enough. A member of either party who proves to be in bed with the corrupt bankers will get fired at election time. The majority isn't at the far right or the far left. If the Dems decide not represent the middle, a party will emerge who will.

Liberal and Proud of It dot com   May 9th, 2009 5:05 pm ET

Party is an insignificant concept. The Democratic and Republican Parties no longer stand for the issues they once stood for. Conservative Southerners all used to be Democrats. Republicans used to be progressive. The important concept is Liberalism. Liberalism – despite the many lies told about it by Conservatives – is for the greatest good for the greatest number, a broadly distributed prosperity, world peace, security, democracy, stability, and growth. The goal of Liberalism is a strong, mostly middle-class, free nation, in which the government and other social institutions have minimal control over personal behavior, which is the definition of individual freedom. Liberals not only oppose government control of personal behavior, we also oppose the control of global corporations over our lives and our futures.

Conservatism, on the other hand, wants an America that is ruled by a tiny, fabulously wealthy upper class. The rest of the nation would pretty much be living from hand to mouth, desperately dependent on the next paycheck and the approval of their employers. Conservatism also wants an unemployed class in grinding poverty, to strike fear in the hearts of employees, who think, "I'd better be a good boy at work, or me and my family will sink into the morass of poverty, from which no one ever escapes." Global corporations prefer desperate employees over any other kind of employee. Now, of course, no Conservative ever SAYS he is for these things, but everything they DO is guiding the nation to that future.

Conservatism must go into the mausoleum of political history, in an exhibit next to Communism, Fascism, Monarchy, and Totalitarianism. It is not good for children and other living things.

annie for Palin   May 9th, 2009 5:03 pm ET

I used to admire carvelle & his wife. Between the two of them they gave a pretty accurate picture of politics. Also, they seemed to really love their two daughters, but guess they are as sleazy as the politicians they speak for. You would think carvelle would care a little bit about how our country is being destroyed since he has 2 young daughters but guess not – just another greedy biased piece of the ever corrupt news media!

Mike in MN   May 9th, 2009 4:58 pm ET

Carville is right that for now the Democrats have the young people.
But they haven't realized just yet how much the big spending, big governmnet, huge deficit Democrats are going to cost them.
Obama is spending like crazy with no plan on how to pay for it. His economic projections show economic growth, but even so his own projctions show massive deficits as even in years with growth he will be spending far more than what the goverment takes in in taxes. These deficits will have to be paid for and the young will get the bill. They won't like it, not a bit.

Mel of Alexandria   May 9th, 2009 4:57 pm ET

Let us not get carried away, Mr. Carville, because that would be bad for the nation. It would facilitate all kinds of corruption, because human beings need to be reminded that others will take over from them and reveal the bad things which happened on the previous watch. It is for our and their protection because too many of our politicians will take the low road if they believe that no one will ever find out.

rico   May 9th, 2009 4:56 pm ET

OMG I'M AN INDEPENDENT SO EVERYTHING I SAY HAS SOMEWHAT MORE CREDIBILITY THAN ALL THE PARTISAN LEFT AND RIGHT WING EXTREMISTS. i hate all of you.

Texas Teacher   May 9th, 2009 4:55 pm ET

Anyone with a brain should be able to see that the Republicans are OVER! All they know is NO, Attack, and lie! Sad business and they think we should care? They talk about change, but they do not know the meaning of the word. They still have not realized that NO ONE truly cares what they have to say about anything! Because we know exactly what they will say about absolutely anything! Can anyone say IRRELEVANT?

Dave   May 9th, 2009 4:54 pm ET

"after all the hell we have been put through with ignorant, arrogant, Republican maggots."

Republicans just want to keep some of what they earned but this what the lib takers have to say about those who give to them. Tolerant people huh?

Dave   May 9th, 2009 4:53 pm ET

If the libs have power for 10 years then America will not exist anymore.

You can only rob hard working Americans for so long. I know that the Dems message of don't work we will rob your neighbor and give you free money resonates with a lot of libs in America but if those people out number the givers, then its all over.

Martin   May 9th, 2009 4:51 pm ET

Congress as a whole generally always has bad approval ratings. However, the entire nation doesn't vote for every congress person. Typically, most constituents like their own representatives. That's why there is hardly any turnover in the US congress. If the current swing to the Dems stays yeah I would think it is quite plausible that we'll see the Dems controlling for the next 30-50 years. Maybe not by much but still controlling. I think the generation between ages 15-30 and maybe beyond will generally be voting against George W. Bush and through him the Republican party for the rest of their lives.

Edward   May 9th, 2009 4:50 pm ET

If Obama does well and leaves the Democratic party in good shape then Hillary is pretty much a shoe in for 2016, if she still wants it.

minan   May 9th, 2009 4:49 pm ET

I sincerely hope that he is right.

Sniffit   May 9th, 2009 4:49 pm ET

i find it interesting that those who support a party in power for this long are unaware that such an event spells DICTATORSHIP

Bill/CA   May 9th, 2009 4:48 pm ET

As a Democrat, I think the worst thing that could happen for this country is any one party to have too much consecutive rule. We saw what happened when the Republicans dominated the last eight years...a party that became drunk with power and far removed from the ideals they campaigned on in the first place. I have no reason to think the same wouldn't happen to the Democrats, even if it took a few years longer. We need a healthy two-party system so one can rule and the other can provide the checks and balances as a minority party. Too much of one party just will result in inefficient, corrupt government, regardless of the party. It's not a Democrat/Republican problem, it's a political problem and neither party is immune.

carville is such a creep. i can't understand how he and matalin stay married.

Steve   May 9th, 2009 4:38 pm ET

There's no way to predict the future; Carville is being a bit arrogant. I will say this: if the Republicans want to reduce the chances of this happening, they'll join the new century and jettison their bigoted, backwards right wing for a new form of center-right conservativism.

Lauren   May 9th, 2009 4:33 pm ET

I hope that this is the case. Democrats cannot get arrogant though. They need to continue President Obama's grace, ability to communicate, and relevancy after Obama has won his reelection.

The GOP has done enough damage for the next fifty years for the democrats to clean up. The possibility of democrats being in power another 50 years or so if likely looking at a historical stance. However, I do once again caution that democrats not get arrogant and continue to respect everyone's opinion. Democrats need to continue to be relevant as well. That's extremely important.

Ray Fisher   May 9th, 2009 4:31 pm ET

I predict a new party will emerge dedicated to the Constitution to adhere and support with integrity, fiscal responsibility, moral values and openness to all people and ideas. We can attain a true democracy by voting on all issues at ATMs or via secure networks and relegate Congress to running government after the people pass legislation!!!

hrc2016   May 9th, 2009 4:31 pm ET

I hope so!

And I hope it's Hillary as President of the United States in 2016.

Shayne in NH, You haven't figured out who you are and what you stand for if you are willing to jump ship because Megan McCain has ideas for the Repubs. They aren't listening to her she is crying in the wilderness.

Hopeful Optimist   May 9th, 2009 4:15 pm ET

I sure hope he's right. But more importantly than 'brand' dominance, the primary impetus should be to bury the remaining vestiges of the old, conservative, divisive way of thinking that has permeated the Republican party since Nixon and Reagan. Nixon was insidious and clever, so he planted the seeds. Due to events like Vietnam and Watergate, they sprouted. Reagan was dumb and lazy, yet he was likable and famous; hence, he became the perfect vehicle to carry on the mantra. The rest is history. And it will happen again if the voting populace once again slides into a sort of lazy, non-vigilant funk.

FreeNLovIt   May 9th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

Wth the way things are going.. I think we're moving more toward one world government. W and Obie are just adding the finishing touch to the recipe. We can kick and scream all we want, but that day is coming. Eearth will not last past 2020... I think Newton made a calculation and the end of Earth is somewhere between 2000-2020 or something like that...

Throckton Peabody   May 9th, 2009 3:58 pm ET

Not a chance. Give either party domination of government and within 6 years they will make everyone sick of their arrogance, corruption and failed policies. It's not which party is in power; it's what power does to people.

Some apropos lines from H. L. Mencken:

"Every decent man is ashamed of the government he lives under."

"All government is evil, and that trying to improve it is largely a waste of time."

Jack in Florida   May 9th, 2009 3:58 pm ET

only if they can extend the fraud that got OBama in the white house....this in dangerous; not many will tolerate much beyond 4 yrs.....the US won't be the US if liberals are allowed to call the shots beyond 2010....however, my bald cat-eyed feminine friend...most of the country is fed up with the overspending of the current congress. They're gone in 2010. Then, Any plans of OBama's will be stalled, and he'll exit a lame duck in Jan 2013, to the applaud of millions of REAL Americans....crawl back in your hole, Carville. IT's pathetic when crap spewers like you actually cause hype in th media, totally unsubstantiated..

Edward   May 9th, 2009 3:53 pm ET

I think that the Democrats are over estimating the strength of their mandate, I am an Independent btw. Essentially it can be said that Obama has a mandate rather than the Democratic party. Obama arrived at the right time, he is a rare occurrence and came after 8 years of hell. Had McCain picked Romney for VP the election would have been much closer. The Republicans are in trouble yes, but that's only because they have such a small base now. This is in part because Democrats are growing but also because Republicans have alienated anyone who isn't far right.

Joyce Becker   May 9th, 2009 3:45 pm ET

You are so right James, perhaps even longer than 2049, of course us Democrats will gladly settle for that date. What does Mary have to say about that I wonder.

dace   May 9th, 2009 3:45 pm ET

We can only hope this is true – it will take that long to undo the nightmare and destructive policies of bush and reagan. These two have destroyed the US financially and morally. Hopefully 2010 will kick more of the white hood extremists out of the senate that still believe they are fighting the civil war or worshiping their hero jim crow.

Dennis   May 9th, 2009 3:44 pm ET

The party in power always screws thing up. These things go in cycles. It might take 8-10 years, but the GOP will be in power again.

S M R   May 9th, 2009 3:42 pm ET

Mr Carville is Right on this one. After what Bush / Cheney did to our Great Country , who in their right mind would vote GOP ever again.

Sleepless in Colorado   May 9th, 2009 3:39 pm ET

I thought that smoking crack in this country was illegal. I voted for mostly democrats this time around but I'm not loyal to any party. I encourage others to study each party because they're both playing the same game. The republicans did terrible over the past years but that doesn't make the democrats exempt. The country is awake now and you better watch your butts and not feel secure with your positions. We need term limits in the House and Senate. There is no need for us to have professional politicians that become corrupt with power. Most of the country is not in a position of comfort, why should our representatives be any different. If you had any wisdom Carville, you would shut your mouth and get to work instead of coming up with stupid predictions. Good luck, democrats. You're going to need it...

Moe   May 9th, 2009 3:38 pm ET

That's great. We (or any of us who are left) will be poor, socialistic, apologetic drones obeying everything washington tells us to do. By that time we will be taking our orders from Beijing, Moscow, or Addis Ababa. Carville's an idiot–a well paid idiot, but an idiot. The dems' will make all the illegals citizens who will continue to vote for the dems–but guess what–the gravy train runs out when there are a minority of hard working Republicans who actually do hold jobs. Who the hell is going to find the money to pay for them then? Barney Frank? Don't think so. Stretch Pelosi? Don't think so. Harry Reid? Don't think so.

There needs to more openness in the Party, and education on the issue of Disabilities; it does not have one race being Black or White, and along the issues towards that of Inclusion. It is clear that race is taking a much larger roll in this Presidency than that of any other one; and more important roll than that of Disabilities, where as blacks are readily using disabilities as a form to get cash, medications, and other resources. Parking passes, Living vouchers, Medicaid & Food Stamps, Medicare, SSI & SSDI, we could increase the list.

Lori   May 9th, 2009 3:20 pm ET

The next 40 years. I say the next 100 years! The Republicans have turned off many young people (yes, I still consider myself young at 30) and a whole lot of other voters. We will no longer be bullied or feared into voting for a Republican like our parents generations. We don't believe that Republicans are more patriotic or support the military more than Democrats, we don't believe that black people are all on welfare, we don't believe that hispanics are taking all our jobs, we don't believe that homosexuals are evil, I don't care for abortion but I believe that every woman's story is not the same and she may have to make that choice. I am a white women that proudly voted for Barack and the Democrats and I will campaign for them for the next 40 years, if need be. I am glad that I have a President that is spending my hard earned tax dollars on rebuilding America by reforming healthcare, education, and other services we so desperately need instead of on wars I see no benefit from. My children and grandchildren will be better off for it. And thank you Mr. Carville for your work with the Democrats.

what's he smoking?--the Dems will; be finished in 2010 as the deprtession takes hold and strangles the middle class--watch the price of gasoline as it's moving back to $4 a gallon and higher which will cut consumer spending off at the knees and force foreclosures and unemployment to new highs--

Jim   May 9th, 2009 3:10 pm ET

These kind of predictions are useless.

If the GOP keeps heading in the direction that it is now, Carville will be correct. The GOP is not producing new ideas, it is relying on hypocritical, negative rhetoric, and it is alienating young voters with its stance on social issues. The GOP is viewed as the party of negativity and hate by the majority of Americans.

I like James carville, but this is exactly what Karl Rove said about the Republican party in 2004 and we all see how well that went.

keep smoking the good "stuff"   May 9th, 2009 3:06 pm ET

50 years?? There's no way in the world, oh, wait, I forgot. This is CNN........ I'm surprised it's ONLY 50 years.

This is completely impossible simply because we wouldn't be around that long. But keep dishing out the kool-aid, CNN. No wonder Fox News is destroying you in the ratings.

From your mouth to God's ears!

I'll be 106 and loving it.

I think American voters will swing more towards the independant party. Judging from my grandson who is 17, he's not happy with either party. Then there's the debt the young voters will have to deal with. I think this will all play out with more educated voters. I hope people will start paying attention to our "leaders" and not be so biased on party lines. We need to get back to our roots and I hope we will do so in a more positive manner.

Dems to rule..?   May 9th, 2009 2:58 pm ET

To rule for 50 years...? according to Carville...well don't the people have a say in this afterall the USA is a domocracy...not a mornachy or the other kind where the people are oppressed...anyone ruling for
too long becomes a...rememer the Soviet Union...! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris (SC)   May 9th, 2009 2:52 pm ET

Lets hope he is right. Democrats need to take care of business and do things with thoughtful consideration of what we need to do to get this country back on track.

Hey repubs.....you getting this? You better start listening to McCain's daughter......or you WILL be history.

Sometimes I don't think you realize that Limbaugh is the political equivalent to cancer for your party...time to cut it out or say LATER!

I'm a demo, but after listening to Meghan's idea's for the repub party I think even I would switch over. Many others too.

You really have to figure out who you are, what you stand for, and what's going on. Because right now you have about 14 different faces with 14 different ideas.

Will in Carson City   May 9th, 2009 2:45 pm ET

God help us if that happens.

@wolfblitzercnn: Redskins-Giants always exciting. Both teams have a lot to prove. And Giants can still salvage playoffs. Skins just need a win.
