WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Democratic National Committee criticized the Republican Party in a new Web video released Sunday evening for having former Vice President Dick Cheney, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Sen. John McCain serve as the GOP’s national spokesmen.

The 38-second clip, posted on YouTube, opens with the statement: “Meet the New GOP Sunday Show Guests” stripped across the screen before it shows the three Republicans being introduced on the Sunday morning talk shows. The videos closing line: “The New GOP. Same As The Old GOP.”

The DNC’s criticism is not new as Democrats are trying to exploit the fact that Republicans are engaged in some real soul searching as they consider how to rebuild the party in time for the 2010 midterm elections and beyond.

This is a great ad. Is there even anyone in charge of the GOP anymore? It seems like a free-for-all out there!

To top off the GOP's problems, they can't keep their senior citizen members in check.

The Dems are pretty funny. One day they claim the Republican leadership is their old guard. Then the next day it is Limbaugh and Hannity who are not even part of the RNC, in fact they do not even call themselves Republicans, they are independent conservatives. Then the next day it is Powell and Megan McCain and moderats who are supposdly chasing the conservative out.
What the Dems are desperatly trying to do is split the Republicans and move the party to the left.
But all I see is the moderate and conservative Republicans voting no to the Obama out of control spending and big government. The are 100% unified. And the polls show voters do not want bigger government, are concerned about the out of control spending and deficits, don't like the bailouts, and don't want to pay higher taxes. At the same time the Republicans are calling for limited government, lower taxes, much smaller deficits and no more bailouts.
No wonder the Dems are attacking the Republicans. A conservative Republican party will be an attractive alternative to the Democrats in 2010 and 2012. In fact history shows four occasions in the last century when conservative Republicans recovered quickly once the voters got a full dose of unfettered rule by liberal Democrats.

GOP = Godawful Old Party.

The party of cheats, liars and war criminals.

The party that almost ruined America.

Thank goodness these idiots are no longer running government.

Everyone is quite aware the GOP is full of, OLD, White, Racist, Replublicans. They represent the old way of thinking that is becoming extinct! Wake up and get with the times. Rather than spending all of your time dissecting every move Obama makes, in an effort to wait for an opportunity to make him fail. Get in line with the American people, and work on solutions to helping this country get back on it's feet. That is probably unlikely, since the GOP would rather see this country fail, than assist an African American President in his efforts to help America get out of this whole we are in. Cowards!

The problem is that the Republicans are not engaging in any soul searching. Instead, they're turning inward for the same old failed nonsense and the same old failed faces. Their enforcement of Rush Limbaugh's orthodoxy will make them purer but smaller and less relevant.

Maybe then America will get a responsible center right party to replace the GOP as it drifts further to the extreme right.

Sure these nit wits should continue to be exposed.Their ideas are very destructive to our Country and the world. For a total recovery from the last 8 year , the GOP will have to stay out of the White House and in the minority.

Keep on marching DNC and let us destroy these parasites so called Republicans one and for the goodness of the country. We are now getting our grooving back as a nation and across the world wide too.

Change has come to America as promised by our brilliant president (Obama).

The DNC is up to all the old tricks, trying to climb the ladder to sucess by using every dirty trick in the book to climb up from their mire and slime.
