The DNC is out with a new Web video highlighting GOP support of  Cheney.

(CNN) - Eager to keep Dick Cheney in the spotlight, the Democratic National Committee released a Web video Wednesday highlighting recent GOP praise for the former vice president's series of television appearances.

Set to Caleb Delamont's Let Me Know That You Love Me, the video shows clips of House Minority Leader John Boehner and Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele praising Cheney's newfound media visibility, even as officials in the Republican party have sought to spotlight a new generation of leadership.

"The Republican Party [hearts] Dick Cheney," the video declares.

That's old news, maybe Keith Obermann and his evil twin Rachel Madcow loves to harp on this stuff but it's Nancy Pelosi that is in the cross hairs today.

The more you keep Cheney in the spotlight the more Americans despise the Republican Party. Have you not learned anything yet??

California is the canary in the cole mine of liberalism.

This is what America is facing if we don't turn this Congress upside down and shake the incumbents out like turning your boots over and shaking out the critters when on a camping trip.

Thank God I live in "New America."... also known as the Republic of Texas.

When you producers are tired of being punished for your work ethic, come to Texas... we're still hiring.

Heaven forbid that the spotlight turns to $1 trillion annual deficits, incresaed taxes through cap-and-trade, a nuclear Iran, Nancy Pelosi's lies, more bailouts for banks, overturning bankruptcy laws for the auto companies, eliminating secret ballots to help unions, increased lobbying from insurance companies, N. Korean missle tests, a stimulus package that isn't working, increasing unemployment, increasing federal employment, increasing distance between federal pay levels and that of the private sector, million dollar spending to fly Obama to campaign for Harry Reid, etc., etc. etc....

Newt....thinks the world revolves around him....if egos were measured in size....this could almost be a possibility. Newt should go back to flying kits...it would be better for all.

I'd take Cheney as president over Obama or Biden any day. If they think they can outsmart him in a war of words they are even less in touch with reality as I was giving them credit for.

We don't need to "seek to keep spotlight on cheney" because he's doing the job himself. Every time he opens his mouth, he make the whole party look worse.

Well, Democrats have to do something to take the spotlight off historical spending, historical debt, tax hikes, unchanging economic crisis, Nancy Pelosi, GM, Chrysler... and I agree, Texas is still hiring.

Not like they have to work hard at, considering Dick won't just shut up and go away, despite the fact that very few people value his opinion on... well, anything.

DICK Cheney & BOSS Limbaugh are the face of the Republican Party. Awesome! They want to do away with all the moderate republicans. Great! By the time it's all said and done, the GOP would only consist of conservatives which is only about 20% of the electorate. You guys sure know how to pick em.

I wish that the repubs would distance themselves from our worst VP ever. As a registered repub, I never liked Cheney and I think that most of the country feels the same as I do...he is as slimey as they come. I never believed anything that he said and thought that everything that he backed only put money into his pockets. I am ashamed of my party...there is so much fighting amongst themselves and it is just taking away from any future success. Palin is the future...what a joke!

Cheney puts the spotlight on himself every time he speaks! It is therefore not a difficulty to allow that spotlight to remain on Cheney, not a problem at all and much to the dismay of the GOP. Afterall, every time Cheney says something, another voter goes blue. Keep Cheney talking and it would be difficult to win any election, anywhere, at anytime! Again, the DNC has nothing to worry about here! Cheney is doing what Biden has been accused of: TALKING TOO MUCH! In this regard, Cheney has been indefatigable!

Last I read, the name of my state is TEXAS!!! I know many people in Texas looking for jobs that aren't there. Where do you get your information? Rick "Big Hair" Perry? What a joke – As for Pelosi, Redubs are really trying to sway the guilt from "them" to her. She wants a truth commission – hope she gets it!

Yes , the real culprits in all of this are not getting enough attention. Dickie and company were the ones instigating their new world order, trying to make connections that weren't there in order to justify their illegal and immoral crimes. And the methods chosen, among others, were lying, stealing, torturing, etc. They dreamed of a fourth reich, world domination, and any one who was opposed was "unpatriotic, a terrorist sympathizer." Hitler would have been proud of their methodologies. And anyone who still supports these right-wing fascists, and their smoke and mirrors distractions, should be tried and hung right along side them. You know who you are, and so do we...

What is so different between Nancy Pelosi lies and Dick Cheney's lies ? Both of them would lie to the public to keep their jobs. And the public is suffering because of he two parties can only agree on one thing , and that's to raise the taxes on the little people in the USA.

Either hilariously sarcastic of said while wearing a tinfoil hat. Seriously dude, there's a reason Obama is considered one of the greatest orators and scholars to be POTUS in several decades (it's because he is).
