The DNC is out with a new Web video highlighting GOP support of  Cheney.

(CNN) - Eager to keep Dick Cheney in the spotlight, the Democratic National Committee released a Web video Wednesday highlighting recent GOP praise for the former vice president's series of television appearances.

Set to Caleb Delamont's Let Me Know That You Love Me, the video shows clips of House Minority Leader John Boehner and Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele praising Cheney's newfound media visibility, even as officials in the Republican party have sought to spotlight a new generation of leadership.

"The Republican Party [hearts] Dick Cheney," the video declares.

Well, no one keeps the spotlight on 'Cheney more than the media.
It is a race every day to see who gets more headlines, Cheney, Gingrich, Rove, etc. ,"all of the good ole boys".
The fact that the American people have no respect or regard for these dishonorable men does not seem to enter into the picture.
The fact that with past actions they have no creditibility evidently is
    not important.
Is anyone else getting as tired as I am reading about these unethical hypocrits?

Somebody should send Dick and Steele and Newt to Gitom for some enhanced interrogations.
It is not even worth to mention those arrogant , incompetent and
    ignorant GOP morons.

For all of you morons that think the smear on Pelosi is somehow working, let me remind you, Nancy Pelosi did not approve the torture methods. That is the issue that won’t go away and that smell is totally the stench of the Republican Party.

This is the stupidest diversionary tactic that I have ever seen. KEEP THE BIG DICK AS THE REPUBLICAN MOUTHPIECE..

Considering how Cheney has been handing the Dems their arse each day when it comes to dealing with terrorists, calling for MORE information to be declassified, and Pelosi-o's lying....

    I say let Cheney speak!!

The FACT is – the guy is smart, articulate, and KNOWS the facts. The more he speaks – the more Americans realize democrats demonized a descent man.

of course they do they want to divert attention from our rising debt by the day the fact that at this pace by 2012 we'll all be government employees and the fact that PeLIEsi lied.

Tell you what, how about we make sure Cheney and PeLIEsi are both thrown out of office. Cheney's gone. Now's your turn Nancy.

Absolutely not. Nancy Pelosi did not TORTURE. However the people that did torture got away with it for 8 years and Dick Cheney is still running around town pretty much saying "yes" I did torture but...it worked. Nancy Pelosi should not resign and the "new and improved" ,same as it was and will always be Republican party should just go away.

    To Garry:
That's why it's important to us Republicans to keep Nancy Pelosi in the public's eye. Don't want her impeached, don't want her removed as Speaker. A couple more snapshots next to Biden would be nice. These two along with Obama's expanding government spending would be more than enough to gain Congress back in 2010.

OMG! There must be some new kinda virus out there: the "I've totally lost touch with reality" bug.

The Democrats are now behaving like the fear mongering Republicans constantly reminding us for eight years that the next 9/11 is about to happen.

So, I have good news for you Democrats. Ain't nobody gonna quickly forget what a slimey devil Dick was, is and always shall be. Save your money for more productive propaganda.

Cheney is kind of like Mr. Penguin in the Batman series. You kind of feel bad for his pathetic situation, and then you remember all the bad things he's done. Yeah, I compared Cheney to a comic book character. Let me know when the villain is in jail.

Cheney is the talking-head for Bush....and republicans embrace both of them, otherwise, the republicans have to admit that the war in Iraq was wrong and based on lies, and that torture is wrong. The republicans are still trying to cover their arses....and I'm not buying any of it.
    They're criminals. Period.

If I could pick one person in this country to head our national security it would be Dick Cheney. The guy sees the world as it actually is as opposed to all you limp-wristed democrats who only see the world as you would like it to be.

Cheney, Bush and their administration will go the way of Pol Pot and his Khmer Rouge Regime....criminals who will never face justice...but who will always hold a place in history for exactly that reason.

@ Jon in CA, who said "If yall would secede – I'd be on the next plane!"

Not so fast Geronimo. If TX attempted to secede, we'd probably embargo it and stop all travel to and from...not mention stop all federal funding and programs. You'd probably find it fairly unpleasant living in a third-world theocratic country...or maybe not...seems to be what you GOPers want the entire US to be anyway.

"The real issue here is TORTURE. Nothing else matters..."

I'm sorry, but so many other things matter. For example:

    1. Iran getting nuclear weapons
    2. $6 trillion in deficit spending in the next 6-7 years.
    3. North Korea
    4. Afghanistan
    5. Pakistan
    6. the economy
    7. Mike Vick (haha...couldn't resist)
