(CNN) - Eager to keep Dick Cheney in the spotlight, the Democratic National Committee released a Web video Wednesday highlighting recent GOP praise for the former vice president's series of television appearances.
Set to Caleb Delamont's Let Me Know That You Love Me, the video shows clips of House Minority Leader John Boehner and Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele praising Cheney's newfound media visibility, even as officials in the Republican party have sought to spotlight a new generation of leadership.
"The Republican Party [hearts] Dick Cheney," the video declares.

The GOP is a riot. They have called Democrats everything in the book but one of my favorites is this. They say that we are becoming socialist and that they want to lie in bed and do nothing and get paid for it. This is just a reminder for you folks that know nothing about socialism: In a socialist society, if you cannot find work, they find a job for you. In Europe I watched those cleaning state buildings outsides with scrub brushes. So don't get any high hopes for staying in bed. That is more what grossly wealthy people do here, in fact they may be the ones blogging that myth.

I'd take Cheney as president over Obama or Biden any day. If they think they can outsmart him in a war of words they are even less in touch with reality as I was giving them credit for.

With Dick Cheney as your standards bearer the Democrats just need to let the GOP further minimize its self. Democrats can’t hurt the GOP like the GOP keeps hurting themselves. The GOP doesn't have a clue what is going on and they seem to just keep digging the hole deeper and faster. The problem is that they have bought everything from Cheney as fact and they still don’t get that he lied to them. Heck some of them still think Iraq was behind 9/11. Ever notice when CNN posts pictures of people? When they are Republicans they are always unflattering pictures, but when they are Democrats they are always more favorable shots. Especially the Biden one CNN uses.

Cheney has publicly admitted to WAR CRIMES. There is nothing else to say about this guy. He has diminished our standing in the world. People looked up to us, with our constitution, which supposedly applied to everyone and we were a nation of laws. Cheney has ruined this and must be prosecuted, or we are just another corrupt government like the ones we preach against.
