Voting one's conscience in any election doesn't negate your party affiliation – but if your vote went to the other guys, it behooves your party to figure out where they're missing it. There are two republican parties in my eyes. The right wing Religious Republican Party, and the more moderate respectable party of which Senator Spector and Senator Snowe belong. The first is just some kind of psychotic faction of the party that is hellbent on destroying this country through racism, hatred, bigotry and divisiveness. America is watching and listening and will never be fooled again by these fools.

I love how Democrats rally around Colin Powell, the single biggest reason we got into the Iraq war. It was his lying sack of you-know-what speech at the UN that got MILLIONS of us to suspend our doubts and support the war. AND it was his little friend Richard Armitage who outed Valerie Plame, and Powell knew about it from day one but let Karl Rove take the heat.

Powell is a just an accommodator to power – he knows exactly what to kiss, whose to kiss and when to kiss it.

Rush just keeps attacking the people that most would associate with and vote for. What a moronic lardass.

Rush Limbaugh and the true Republicans are true Americans, I can not say that for those in the Democratic Party, they are just hateful individuals who can not debate the issues and have to make personal attacks on innocent people. Obama is a friend to the Republicans just as Carter was.

I used to vote republican on occaision when the republican was the best candidate. I will never vote republican again as long as it has any affiliation with the likes of these two. Colin Powell shouldn't honor the ravings of that shameless blimp with any sort of response. Powell's an independent-minded moderate, and the GOP needs to realize it can't survive without them.

Anyone who would endorse Obama for President is truly not a Republican; just stands to reason he's a RINO and NO good for the Republican party, or the country for that matter. Just cross the isle and stop with the facade.

I hope the republican party does split. Then the religious right can be marginalized and the true conservatives and democrats can compromise and get bills passed.
