(CNN) - So what did former President Bush think about President Obama and former Vice President Dick Cheney's dueling speeches on national security policies Thursday?
He didn't watch them.
A source close to Bush said the former president was traveling at the time, enroute to New Mexico where he is the keynote speaker Thursday night at a fund raising dinner for a scholarship program for students at Artesia High School.
Bush is a hell of a lot better than the idiot in office now and he's a lot brighter than any of you.
After reading Obama's and Cheney's speeches just now, I have the utmost respect and admiration for Mr. Cheney. Mr. Obama, on the other hand, continues with his well-executed goo-goo gobbledeegook.
Please keep speaking out, Mr. Cheney. You are a brave and honorable man.
Are there any pictures of Bush in existence where he doesn't look stupid.
Consistent. He once said he didn't care what History will say about his administration because he won't be around to read it.
It's a waste of time for anyone to listen to an idiot like Obama.
Who cares what Bush does?
Bush probably wouldn't have understood anything being said by either Obama or Cheney.
Bush looks terrible, one step from advanced dementia.
CNN has been doing a lot of moderating today. Wonder why?
This whole set up of Obama vs Cheney is so over the top "reality T.V." stupidity.
Take away all of the nonsence and what is left but a has been V.P. whose sole exsistence is now so insignificant that he has been reduced to nothing more than a sideline cheerleader for his base of town idots.
How frustrating for a has been world leader (of sorts). . .
Bush, at least, knows when to call it quits.
This image represents the look of confidence and integrity that all Americans espouse in their Commander-in Chief.
he stuck with what he could understand. Watching SpongeBob squarepants and readin pop-up books.....what a dolt
I did not like President Bush when he was in office, but I have to give him credit for having more class than Cheney now that he is out of office. I am impressed that Bush is retiring from the political stage so gracefully and focused on other things.
Bush never been the boss... Cheney was the one..
Bush is laying low probably cause of Jeb wanting to be president. Cheney will run for president to finish his dirty deeds and Jeb will be vice president and declare Cheney senile..and take over. Its all in the bag.
He was probably working on his new book. It takes a lot of time to create a good coloring book.
He didn't know what was going on then and he doesn't want to know what's going on now.
Bush is doing what Cheney should be doing. Moving on. They both failed massively in their jobs and it only makes them look worse by trying to justify their previous actions. We need to move forward because the damage has already been done.
Bush is twice the man Obama thinks of himself!
National Prayer day – Obama absent
National Day of Recognizing fallen officers – Obama absent
Putting together a concrete plan of dealing with terrorists – Obama absent
Wednesday night White House drunken party – Obama PRESENT!
Bush has a clear conscience because he did what was right in order to protect this country. He has no need to find out what Obama's take on the issue of terrorism is, because he already knows.
The fact that so many of you bloggers are ungrateful for Bush's willingness to do the right thing, regardless of the wimps of the world think, gives evidence to your own failure to recognize truth and be duped by the current president who's foolish actions are paving the wave for more terrorist activity.
This is no surprise. George Bush has always avoided the truly tuff issues and the issue surrounding his and Dick's approval of torture IS a HUGE issue...criminal at best!!!
GWB here's what you missed from your boy.
" Scare, Scare, Scare, cough, cough, Scare, Scare, Scare, chug, chug, chug, Scare, Scare, Scare. Cough, cough, Scare. Scare"
I thought he was going down for the count a couple times..
These two should just disappear. If their friends and supporters want them to speak to their groups so be it. We do live in America.
The unfortunate thing is that media seem to need to stoke the fires of
of controversity at any cost.
Dick Cheney just spent 30 or 40 minutes recounting for us his 911 experience...thanks Dick...somehow the questions still remain as to what will we do in the future to restore this country's greatness.....
Obama use too many big werds. Make my brain hert. Have nice day!
911 happened on bush and cheyney's watch. How did they keep us safe?
permanant vacation on the ranch?
