Bush missed both Obama and Cheney's speeches Thursday, a source tells CNN.

(CNN) - So what did former President Bush think about President Obama and former Vice President Dick Cheney's dueling speeches on national security policies Thursday?

He didn't watch them.

A source close to Bush said the former president was traveling at the time, enroute to New Mexico where he is the keynote speaker Thursday night at a fund raising dinner for a scholarship program for students at Artesia High School.

President hope and change sure does look back a lot, and blame all of his problems on his predecessor. It would be nice for him to lead, instead of being in a perpetual campaign mode.

He's showing as much interest in our country now as he did during his presidency.

Dick Cheney was really running the show.

You like Cheney waterboarding technique too? Maybe you join him and get waterboarded by Jesse Ventura.

Cheney needs to get a life. We never heard from him for 8 years and he arrogantly told us he's only answerable to George W. Code word, "he was running the country for W".

You mean George "WE DON"T TORTURE!" Bush? This is the guy who repeated that lie over and over and then doesn't have the balls to stand up and answer to the American people he deceived.

At least he has had the decency to keep a low profile since leaving office.

I didn't watch either Mr. Bush. I'm tired of hearing all the bickering out of Washington. Everyone passing blame. Get over it and get this country back on track.

It's a known fact: Cheney supports the notion of americans being terrorists. He willingly defends immoral, and unethical acts of terrorism to be carried out by americans.

With men like Bush and Cheney, who needs Hitler?

  21. Hello

Please...more pictures of Cheney where he looks as if he is growling....that kind of unbiased reporting works very well all the liberal refugees from the 60's.
I used to draw funny pictures of my elementary school teachers when they made me angry. Wish I would have had Photoshop like CNN has...

Good for Bush. He's best off keeping his nose out of the little Obama/Cheney pissing match because that's all it is. Bush is doing what presidents are supposed to do, sit back and let the new administration set their pace and do their job. So far Jimmy Carter is the only former president who was a big enough ass to criticize a sitting president.

Bush is hiding from the spotlight because he got us into this mess we're in. Cheney seems to think he can talk his way out of putting Americans in the line of fire for a buck. And then Obama...he just doesn't know what the hell he's doing at all.

Prosecute the Bush clique! Lock the traitors up!
