WASHINGTON (CNN) - Sen. Dick Durbin repeated Wednesday that he would not support his colleague from Illinois, Sen. Roland Burris, for re-election in 2010.
Durbin said he told Burris that he was "disappointed" to read a federal wiretap transcript, released on Tuesday, which showed that the junior senator had offered former Gov. Rod Blagojevich campaign cash while trying to win a Senate appointment.
"We stuck our neck out for him and said if you do this thing, you'll do it in a proper, professional way, then we can stand behind you being sworn into the Senate," Durbin said, according to NBCChicago.com. "And I just don't think his testimony was complete and accurate."
Durbin has in the past called for Burris' resignation.

How blind are the Democratic supporters, Burris is a crook, Holder is a racists, Obama is a smoke screen, Pelosi is a Lier, and the rest of the democrates in the administration seem to be tax cheats. So I guess if you want to associated with that crowd, then you will support Obama's pick for new justice even if she is another racist. If you dont believe, then read her speech.
He should never have been seated in the first place. There needs to be provisions put in place for firing people like this. After all, the people are his boss.

This was a prime example of one party rushing to fill seats on their side of the isle instead of doing what is in the people's best interest. Same can be said about the Minnesota Senate seat currently still in limbo to prevent a seat from being filled with a member from the other side instead of doing what is best interest of not only Minnesota but the whole of America.
One of the founding principles of our govenment is representation. If that system is broken how are 'We The People' not irreverent?
