HA! McAuliffe is the worst of the worst partisans. He's been a venomous hate-mongerer. No self respecting Democrat with a sense of decency could have voted for such a wretch.

My faith in humanity has been renewed!

This is great for the Dems. My nderstanding is the GOP did want want Deeds to win, they favored McAuliffe. Deeds has them worried.

Good. McAuliffe is a total tool. He was a terrible DNC chair. Why reward incompetence with the governor's mansion?

As a Va. conservative, I was happy to see Deeds win today for one reason....he is an ACTUAL Virginian. McAuliffe and all of his "out of state" money from Clinton couldn't even get him the nomination. He had the field blown in away in contributions but got beat by Deeds almost 2 to 1. I love it. Congratulations Deeds. Keep these out of state hacks out of our beloved Virginia politics!

Interesting, I just found out that the right wing nuts copy people's names and then make stupid comments using other people's names. Is it immaturity? Yes. LOL. Some day the grown ups will take the republican party back and we will take them seriously again. But Rush Limbaugh? Sarah Palin? Dick Cheney? Newt Gingrich? As long as they are out front, I'm a democrat. Joe Scarborough is at least trying to have a conversation. He's the only republican I actually know of who is speaking any sense – other than Colin Powel, Dick Lugar, Brent Scowcroft, you know, the adults.
