Obama has never called himself a prophet. He is a measured man trying to get us past years of American hatred by the world brought to us especially in the last 8 years of the bush / Cheney Administration. I know this man hates Obama to the core! like it or not he is our leader and he has shown what a great leader he is! Obama is our Modern day King Solomon!

You gotta be kidding me , why all the childish name calling from the GOP wing nuts? Presdient Obama has gone from "terrorist" to "celebrity" to "socialist" to "facsist" and now a "false prophet".

The GOP name calling and shrill rhetoric is a sign of desperation and and it shows a total lack of idea's and imagination.

Americans are growing weary of the GOP clown show.

I'm sure America is gratified now to know what the "Midnight Cowboy" thinks of Obama.

This coming from "The Midnight Cowboy".......
Who does this idiot think he is? If he's so worried about Israel then go join their army. It's not our responsibility to watch over these arrogant fools. Since when is Israel a part of the United States??

Sounds like Religious overtones, what a joke. Bush is who destroyed America, Obama is trying to fix it.

Jon's just upset President Obama equates both states (Israel and Palestine) maltreatment towards one another as the entire problem. Mr. Voight doesn't want to acknowledge Israel's invasion of the entire area (Palestine) beyond the territories gained in 1967 as aggression. The displacement and killing of Palestinians from an area where there isn't much room to migrate anywhere else. Conversely, Palestinians have killed innocent Israeli people in their attacks which is unexcusable as well. The right wing conservative Israeli's and right wing Hezbollah are both equally as EVIL. They're both the SAME. And anyone, including Jon Voight, who doesn't acknowledge both states are the problem.....is part of the problem.....
You see, many Christians (hypocritical ones) have a (Crusader mentality) from the middle ages and project their prejudice towards Muslims.....while many Muslim extremists project prejudice towards Jews and Christians. If ALL treated each others the way they themselves would want to be treated by others....the problem would be solvable. Instead, you have many "knuckle heads", like Jon Voight and Republicans carrying prejudice and denial into the negotiations.

Oh, give me a break! Who cares about Voight???? What significance is he to politics? He's not even a popular actor. Another Republican nutcase

Could not have said this any better myself. What a fool we have for a president–tripsing around the globe apologizing for everything from stale cereal to the weather. In everyone's haste to "make history" we made it alright–a bad history from day one. I'm glad my name is not associated with putting Obama in office.

And Jon Voight is a "false father" who can't repair his relationship with his adult daughter....I think I'll wait for the GOP to get someone without their own "issues" to question Obama's actions....

North Korea is an amazing study in foreign policy. For 8 years, the Bush policy on North Korea was strong talk followed by regional influence from the surrounding countries. North Korea would talk every once in a while, but Kim Jong Il was generally quiet. Kim made agreements with the US, and Bush removed them from the list of terrorist state-sponsors. Obama and John Kerry both cheered these moves, and said the North Korea model was the way to handle other rogue nations.

North Korea continued to violate the terms of the agreements they signed (for example, not giving a complete nuclear arms update within 60 days in 2008), but it didn't matter, because people were confident Kim wouldn't do anything stupid.

However, since Obama took over, Kim has gotten much more aggressive, launching missle after missle, while Obama does nothing but say "Don't do that." Obama does not scare Kim. George Bush scared Kim. Kim has now become a major problem. Does Obama have the b*lls to do anything about it, or is he going to continue letting Kim do whatever he wants?

Who yanked this goober's chain? When I think of great political minds, Jon Voight is not someone who makes the list. And I thought this man was an actor, isn't it his job to memorize lines? Why is he reading from his notes like a second grader trying to read an 8th grade level book?

Who cares what this washed up old actor has to say? The presedent never claimed to be a prophet. Its sad that people like this idiot are calling him weak because he wants peace in the world. History to write a different story...
Its amazing how there are so many haters in the Rep party, old white men who cant get over the fact this man is the leader of the free world and that the world loves him, its scary for them so they have to come up with all these hateful things to say about him. God will punish all of you haters!

....and where was Jon Voight during Bush's presidency. He misses the

fact that Bush over the period of 8 years managed to reduce this country

to a laughing stock around the world. Just as some of Mr. Voight's

performances are better than others, it's only fair that President Obama

be given time to solve the MANY problems he inherited from his

predecessor. Go and make another film Mr. Voight, that's what you

are good at. Leave the political punditry to the experts

Voight must have missed the last 8 years while making those hard-hitting Disney Channel Films. Boy, how the Midnight Cowboy has fallen out of the saddle.

A false prophet? That has to be a step up from being the anti-Christ. Seriously, ever since this guy screwed up his relationship with his daughter he's been getting nuttier by the day.

Haha ... an actor nobody cares about anymore is trying to be noticed. Now, shut up and bite George Costanza. (Gawd, he was even a washed-up punchline in the 90s.)

    Mr. Voight-
I have loved you acting through the years.
Very disappointed at what a complete kook & spook you are politically.
You guys and the fear card!
You played it one too many times, and now you guys are liable to be out of power for some time to come.
Wake up and smell the new world!
    I will NOT be afraid.

Jon Voight has been a madman for quite some time now. He's a good actor (or at least he used to be; he's gotten kind of pedestrian now), but if you ever read his rantings, he's totally unhinged and out of touch with reality. And I'm talking just one step above "aliens are sending me secret messages through my breakfast cereal" crazy. There's a reason Angelina Jolie avoids her dad, y'know. Voight believes in so many insane things to begin with that he has no credibility in any regard. And in any case, I don't believe Obama's ever claimed to be a "prophet" in the first place, so Voight's accusations are ludicrous.

I accuse Jon Voight of not actually being a cedar tree! Whether he's ever claimed to be one (and it frankly wouldn't surprise me if he had, the lunatic) is immaterial, he still stands accused!
