(CNN) – Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor is set to meet with seven more senators Thursday, the White House announced.
SCHEDULE OF JUDGE SOTOMAYOR’S CAPITOL HILL MEETINGS
THURSDAY, JUNE 11
Today, Judge Sotomayor will visit Capitol Hill to meet with the following Senators:
Senator Daniel Akaka
Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison
Senator Bill Nelson
Senator Jack Reed
Senator Debbie Stabenow
Senator Jon Tester
Senator Mark Udall

Have a good day Nominee Justice Sotomayor. Hope you get confirmed quickly. As much as the republicans are trying to hold up your confirmation, the American people know that you're qualified for the job and the senator(s) that try to block your confirmation will not be in Washington after 2010. That's a guarantee.
Wow I guess it does take alot to confirm a SCOTUS. Meeting and greeting, just like your kids first day at school and you have to meet all the parents and teachers...
If the senators would work instead of getting all dressed and show-casing themselves on tv all day long, maybe they could do their job.
Maybe (I doubt it – they're busy preparing for their month-long vacations).
Why did CNN close the comments for the Palin/Letterman so quick? Ordinarily they leave anything concerning Palin open for over 300 comments so the libs can get the viciousness out of their systems. I was enjoying reading all of their hypocritical commnets saying how the Palin family deserved that hatred and wondering what would happen if say Rush Limbaugh or Anne Coulter had said something like that about the Obama children and why Al Sharpton wasn't out trying to get Letterman cancelled like he did when Imus made similar stupid comments. Most blatant liberal bias, I have ever seen. HYPOCRITES>
@ Dutch/Bad Newz,Va......... Couldn't have said it better myself. Indeed, may Judge Sotomayor be confirmed soon!
I just wonder how many of you would still defend Letterman had he make a similar joke about Obama's girls.
Interesting. All of them except Hutchinson are Democrats, as is Sotomayor. And KayB is known for being a women's rights activist. Can we all say, "Rubber stamp?"
if so, they all have plenty of time to ask questions one on one
if grand standing is the issue, why would the dems give them the chance or allow a prolonged hearing? pointless is the repubs just want to score points
