    Seriously?

    We have seen her take on much more than an injury like this... She is very strong.

    Affect her job? That presumes she is doing something to begin with. What is she doing again? Besides being in the media, I am not sure what, if anything, she has done. So if you are doing nothing, the elbow shouldn't be a problem.

    No one asked how Gates broken arm would affect his job! We never
    spoke about it.
    She will continue to do the magnificent job that she always does.

    Best Wishes Hillary get well soon! This is a physical injury and I wish her well.

    BTW, re comments here..... if S. Palin fell and hurt herself, i would wish her well also. I just want her to stay out of politics!

    I am amazed no one is talking a consipracy theory where Dems are getting tripped by Republicans (Sotermayor, Clinton....) Who will trip next???

    @Doug,

    "...Unlike every Democrat in America who at the very least wishes harm to Sarah Palin's entire family..."

    This is really not true! A few people posting do not represent the country! Most Democrats, I think, disliked her as a politician. But I know a great many Democrats, and not even one wishes harm to Sarah Palin or her family.

    Not every Democrat is full of hate and anger, though it's easy to forget when you read posts. The same can be said about Republicans, too!

    Let's test the new health care system - If it's not worth fixing or too expensive then she can live with it. I'll be the judge today like Obama will be the one to define treatment tomorrow.

    My heart goes out to anyone suffering pain for whatever. The good LORD above "allows" situations to happen to us in life. HE will go through the trials of life with us. It makes us stronger for it. Our troops endure the most horrendous pain and suffering, so this little incident is simply a "minor temporary inconveniece." She'll make it just fine.

    @ Tatianna June 19th, 2009 12:24 pm ET

    One has to wonder if a crisis is brewing which will deem Obama administration incompetent and Obama will use Hillarys elbow injury and Napolitan ankle injury to take the flak for his bumbling. Obama is a clever Presidunce but dishonest down to the core.

    What drugs are you on???!!!!! "One has to wonder" how an idiot like you manages to draw breath!

    I love it, Dems get defensive and attack Palin and Bush. Reps go on the offensive and attack H.C. (while she's wounded?). However no-one seems to have read the full story. Our SecState will be undergoing treatment for pain and will return for more surgery in a couple of weeks – perhaps under a general. So, yes, this is going to affect her performance. However, she has a staff and lots of support. So hopefully things will be fine...
