Indiana Governor Mitch "The Blade" Daniels is the only person that can get us out of this mess. He HAS TO BE elected in 2012. Democrats and Republicans both love him and he is a brilliant person, fiscally responsible, and a creative and innovative thinker.

He has done more than any other president in the first 100 days? PLEASE! You are right though, in his first 100 days he raised the deficit by more than any other president has in their first 100 days, he has managed to ignore threats from North korea, managed to spend a lot of money to fix the economy which hasn't been fixed at all (hence the jobless rate continuing to rise) and he has managed to apologize to every nation he could for how bad we apparently are. Yeah, great job.

ATTENTION OBAMA HATERS:

There is only one poll that counts. It was taken on November 4, 2008.
WE WON, YOU LOST. Get over it!! There's nothing you can do about it.
Stop crying, get ready for 2012, at the rate you're going you'll probably loose again.

The comments regarding the latest poll results show just how polarized we have become in this country. Maybe we can't be one big country. We are so diverse and so different, and seemingly incapable of reaching any consensus.

I am struck by the relative tone of the comments against President Obama versus the tone of those in favor of his policies. The grammatical and spelling errors of those on the far right speak volumes about the quality of their thought processes. They are not intelligent, well-reasoned comments.

Interesting...

Uh oh, the Libs are going crazy. Their Great One is slipping in Polls. What will they do? Maybe some of the Kool-Aid drinkers are now switching to another drink that causes their thinking to become more alert.
That's ok Libs, keep whining, crying, saying how much you hate Republicans, how the world is so mean to you and keep on with your miserable life. Just keep drinking your Kool-Aid and take your Valium.
You will need it when Obama destroys everything our country has fought for.

Terry from Texas - "They disagree with him because they want him out of power and they will oppose, block, stall, lie, intimidate, inhibit, prevent, exaggerate, confuse, minimize, distort, and defy him as a matter of principle — no matter how much the middle and lower classes suffer."

No, they disagree with Obama because his policies are bad for the country. Or can't you grasp that concept? Do you not see what's going on here? Or do you have too much of a man-crush on Obama to care?

If you're going to comment, please use actual facts rather than recycled pundit talk. You look and sound ridiculous.
If you think Obama is doing a great job, you voted for him and he can do no wrong. He's not infallible, get a clue.
If you think he's doing awful, you didn't vote for him and nothing he will do or say will change your mind. He's not a Socialist or a secret Muslim, get a clue!
If you're a normal person, you accept that he's on par with other presidents popularity wise and have some concerns about his policies and how they will affect us in the future. He's doing alright. Deal with it!

Funny, the link from the Politics home page is:

Poll: Obama's approval rating holds steady

And then when you get to the page the title is:

Poll of Polls: Obama more popular then his policies

If that isn't media bias, I don't know what is. If someone just glanced at the link on the homepage you would feel that obama is doing great. But the poll really is saying what everyone is thinking: hey, I like Obama, love to have a beer with the guy BUT his policies stink.

CNN, stay above the brown-nosing please.

I just keep wondering when these people posting for government controlled healthcare are going to wake up. Where do you think the funding comes from to pay for all of this multi-faceted array of public handouts? The private sector is frozen like a deer in the head lights, I am talking jobs that create commerce. We have lost the growth and development industries due to government interference, we have lost the auto industries due to government interference and now we are dooming the healthcare industry due to government interference. I wonder why they haven't hit up the legal industry yet by curbing in lawyers? It isn't all about Obama, it is now about putting food on the table and keeping the roof over your head, wait till the winter slow months if you think business is dead now!

Roger .. the last eight years were not typical Republican beliefs. Bush was a neo-con lunatic. A Ron Paul or JOhn McCain spending hawk Republican would have been different. Obama's stimulus plan was a huge mistake, as was Bush's. Stop being a partisan hack and realize that both parties are failing us.

If the extremes were real I'd take the socialism of the Democratic party over the fascism of the Repunblicans any day. The small brained dito-head and Fox minions love to demonize the European and Canadian governements. But if you/we truely understood how they are structured I'd bet 80% of Americans would love to have many their programs or systems of goverment ~ four to six weeks a year vacation, extended paternity leave for both parents, excellent free health care, education through college, just to name a few.
Sure you might not be able to buy a Hummer, but how many of you want a Hummer? Reality can be a good thing, give it a try.

The man has been President for less than 6 months. You think he caused the mess this Country is in? You can't make a mess like this in just under 6 months. Get over it, Rethugs. Your guys (Bush/Cheney) caused these problems that Obama has to deal with, and it will take a heck of a lot longer than 6 months to get things turned around. Live with it. We had to for eight v-e-e-e-e-e-r-y long years and we're still paying the price in Iraq!!! (Let's not even mention the fact that the 2000 election was rigged.)

@Terry from Texas

The problem I see is where YOU do not criticize his actions. I'm not so blind to see that he's made some horrible mistakes in judgment. I'm sick of bleeding heart liberals/conservatives that look past everything just to validate their guy.

The fact remains, his predictions on jobs and the economy have been flat out wrong. His reactions to world events have been extremely slow in forming as if he's waiting for a poll. It seems more apparent each day that we voted for a campaigner. I thought we voted for a leader, but I'm just not seeing it right now.

Sorry people, Obama isnt as dumb as Bush in jumping into a situation he doesnt understand. What election on earth goes on without the losing side whining to the heavens, anyone remember our last election? didnt think so...lol...hes doing a fine job, critics are constantly biting their tongue, and the few that arent are paying for it with embarrassment. Polls are polls, they say fox news has the highest viewing, yet nobody i know follows that for "news", hmm, it couldnt be the sports broadcasting could it? who knows.....Some of us understand the challenges he faces, unlike Bush, who had more or less a clean slate, and its definetly our turn to tell the uneducated, if you dont like it....leave....sound familiar? =) time already told if you ask me, critics...wrong from the start....what more evidence do you need?

I have t admit it is wierd having an excellent President after SOOOOO long. This guy actually talks to us and lets us know what is going on. Now if only the Republicans would STOP complaining as, Thank the God Lord, they are NOT in office so they should stop and work in the present and support Obama. Their ideas just did not work for 8 years and I don't know where they obtained this sudden insight on EVERYTHING.

"…I am a 24 yr old female born and raised in Richmond, Va and in my nephews daycare almost all the children are biracial with the exception of 2-3 so that goes to show that soon all of our biracial children will soon be running this country and they will be the majority!!!!"

So you're saying race determines who you will vote for (of the voter and candidate?)?. Good job in continuing the racial stereotyping.

At least Obama is investing in THIS country and not spending money bo blow up ANOTHER country. We would not be in the mess we are if not for the last 8 years of Republican politics. For most of the last 8 years we went the wrong way: we went from big to cars to even bigger SUVs and an increased spending for foreign oil, we ailenated most of the world, we thought we were punishing Iran and N. Korea by not talking to them and now one has the atomic bomb and the other soon will. How can we fix our ecomony as long as more money leaves the country than comes in? At least money spent by the government stays in the country. People say it was WW II that ended the Great Depression, but what was WW II other than a huge government spending program? Obama is doing what has tobe done to get us out of the mess the Republicans have put us in, so back off critics and give him the same respect you asked for W when he assumed office!

Meghan, we owe the money to China. Pay attention to the news even a little bit and you can figure that out. China has bought almost all of our debt with interest. We are so far into debt that we are having trouble selling China on the idea to buy more of it. We CANNOT write it off. You are clearly talking about things you do not understand. Obama wants to make more money to cover the pricetag of some of this stuff....well that is going to lead to insane inflation. Soon $100 will have the buying power of $50 if Obama's dream to double the money supply is realized. Obama is a good man, but he is spending way too much. It is incomprehensibly scary.

Message to Glennis and Proud Member of Party of No
The only arrogant inexperienced person was President Bush and his republican cohorts. Let's not forget we had someone in the White House for the last 8 years who barely could speak, let alone read or write.

And what about Dick Cheney???? Talk about arrogance!!!!!!

President Obama is the left-wing version of Ronald Reagan. Face it...people like him because he has a lot of charisma and he is a great communicator. We like him even if doesn't hit a home run every time. Just like Reagan.

Add to it that he appears to be quite honest and open about everything he's doing. Something we weren't used to from the Bush/Cheney years.

The poll number shows how ignorant most people are. This president has run up the national debt in 6 months than all presidents before him combined; he has bowed down to national leaders, he goes abroad and needlessly appoligizes for the USA, he doesn't standup and support those rebeling against a terroist regime in IRAN. All this and people still support him? Ignorance is bliss.

I'm sure most Obama critics are the sad Americans who would have given Bush a third term. Most Americans who watch Fox news are the same ones who buy the NATIONAL ENQUIIRER and belive the stories.
