Ahmadinejad accuses Obama of interfering in election

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad chided President Obama on Saturday for 'meddling' in Iran.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad chided President Obama on Saturday for 'meddling' in Iran.

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) - Iran's president slammed President Obama on Saturday, saying officials in the Islamic republic are astonished over what they see as his interference in Iran's disputed elections.

"Didn't he say that he was after change?" Ahmadinejad asked Iranian judiciary officials in a speech. "Why did he interfere? Why did he utter remarks irrespective of norms and decorum?"

His remarks are countering Western criticism of the June 12 elections, which the government said Ahmadinejad won in a landslide.

Ahmadinejad spoke a day after Obama discussed the unrest in Iran during a news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Too little too late BO! You kept quiet while Ahmadinejad and Co. did their worst. That makes you an intentional enabler. :(

Now Ahmadinejad and Co. are laughing at you while they pull your chain!

    Ahmanijad,

Obama did not interfere. He said it's up to the Iranian people. Of course, Obama already see your move, and he is one move ahead. Nobody is buying what you say, Ahmadinejad.

He must be watching Fox and repeating what they say. He needs to be concerned about the families of the people who have killed and beaten instead of lying about the President. President Obama ain't thinking about him and what he says.

He has even less integrity than our own politicans. The world should consider stopping interference in Iran when it stops interfering in Iraq and killing soldiers and civilians alike, and stop interfering in Palestine and Isreali peace talks by supplying terrorist in Hamas and Hezbollah.

Ahmadinejad is killing and turning on his own people, women, children and men, and now is looking to blame the U.S. for his slaughter. I don't think he can sell that to those who are still fighting for freedoms and to the families of those he has killed. Time is running short and I think Ahmadinejad knows he is probably reaching his end.

Don't you people realize that this man is clinically insane? Why Obama thinks he is going to be able to negotiate with him is beyond me.

It appears that Ahmadinejad is trying to pull a cloak and dagger move. Listen to what I am saying, but do not pay attention to what I am doing. The people in Iran have demonstrated and spoken. They want democracy and peace. It is NOT for the United States to do, but for the Iranians. Ahmadinejad is trying to make people angry at the United States and President Obama. It is my prayer that this will not work. President Obama spoke the truth and that is all he did. Now, it is up to those in Iran to do what is truly best for their country.

It's really pretty simple this man ( Ahmadinejad ) is an idiot!! And unfortunately when you give a small mind a large amount of authority they are totally unpredictable and frankly dangerous. Sadly there are no easy answers when it comes to Iran as long as the REAL leaders (clerics) believe America is a threat to their backwards society. The real threat is their youth, they KNOW times have changed and they are growing very tired of being suppressed and denied basic liberties. They KNOW the election was a SCAM and I hope they never forget how brutally they were treated by their own government.

We are really in no position to judge others' elections. We routinely disenfranchise millions of Americans. We have electronic voting machines that register thousands of votes even before polls open. Our Supreme Court selected a president who lost the nationwide popular vote. We practice voter intimidation even before polls open. Our candidates are selected by party elites. Only two parties are even allowed to have power in Washington.
At the same time we hypocritically kiss up to totalitarian regimes such as Saud Arabia. Do you still wonder why the world questions our authority on and commitment to democracy?

Ahmadinejad really is a loathsome creep. Obama has been really measured and restrained with the Iran situation and Ahmadinejad still finds fault. Really nothing the US could do would be right, and Ahmadinejad is such a kook anyway, that Obama is correct not to take him seriously. No one should.
