If one really believes that all Americans will get the same high quality health care as politicians I have a bridge in Birmingham to sell them. My Aunt who retired form civil service has Blue Cross and Blue Shield. As some who is retired military I have an HMO system called Tri-Care which is not anywhere what politicians or civil servants get. Any government program should be no better than the HMO the military and their families get. This will cost enough and as a taxpayer I should not pay for Blue Cross, Blue Shield for the uninsured when I have to pay for my own through work. Maybe the uninsured should get a second job or give up things like computers and cell phones to pay for their own insurance. I also am disappointed in AL-Kids our state form of SCHIP. My single father son makes $18,000 a year and pays $250.00 a month to cover he and his son. My grandson does not qualify for S-CHIP since he lives at his grandparents home. That is rediculous when kids 30 years old and families making up to $85,000.00 can get it. If you want a free hand out from the government go to Europe or Canada.

MAry Matalin is the same person who stated that America would never vote for an extreme liberal for POTUS. She stated that only McCain, with his record of clear thinking and good judgment could lead the nation.

McCain left a wife in a wheelchair for the USC heiress he's married to now and chose Sarah Palin, a pure fool, for a running mate.

Ms. Matalin, the only thing you'ver ever done that went right was marry James Carville.
