Here's a heads-up for the publishing company. Better make it a cheap book to purchase, otherwise it's going to set on the shelves a long time. Also, make the print big, and the sentences few per page., for those who do decide to purchase the book. I doubt anyone with a high school education will want to waste their time with it, your best chances for sales will come from the people who dropped out of school before reaching the 8th grade.

I admire Gov Sanford for being honest if not anything else but putting his wife of 20years out to pasture is another thing. He should just leave her sorry – He seems to not be in love with her. Let Mrs Sanford have her life now!!

How did he have time to write a book about how the government needs to spend less and have an affair and lie to his wife and children and staff and constituents. And spend lots of money traveling to have the affair! Let's hope that he has enough shame to keep from writing another book – this one about the scandal he was living while writing the first!

He does need to step down, but not because he cheated as both parties do that. But because he left his job for 5 days. He has ruined what could have been a very promising career.

If Sanford's career has "effectively brought an end to his political career", then why is Barney Frank still Chair of the House Financial Services Committee? The guy had a gay prostitution ring run out of his townhouse on Capitol Hill years ago, and more recently was defending his ex-gay-lover Herb Moses, whose programs at Fannie Mae are responsible for packing high risk loans into bank vehicles that effectively brought down the international financial industry and is largely responsible for today's economic disaster – and yet Frank spent years shutting down all attempts to regularly his ex-gay-lover's work at Fannie Mae. Yet FRANK is still in office. How is Sanford's political career "effectively" at "an end"?

The emails and conversations coming out are just unbelieveable...at some point it almost sounds like he's bragging about his exploits like a 14 year old...or a man going through a mid-life crisis. I feel so sorry for his wife and children to have to live this in the public eye...there is no way this many is trying to mend his marriage. If I were his "soul mate" I would kick him to the curb too...especially with the confession that he's acted inappropriately with other women.....AND governor of state...?!

Every bozo today "writes" a book. Presidents Grant, Roosevelt, Carter actually wrote. this will be nothing more than warmed-over conservative theory excusing them from paying into the society that supports them.

Let me spell it out for you. ANYONE who breaks the law and or government rules should NOT have an office. Send Sanford home, or back to Argentina for all I care.
